id assume its likely still a sensitive issue in his home stae as well. racism doesnt just disappear over night .

Listen, I'm white as hell. But I've known people of mixed race and have been friends with some. It's not uncommon for mixed race young folks to have an extremely difficult time fitting in, as sometimes they are never fully accepted by either of their roots. It can be tough, even in 2021. I think those concerns are likely real from the Rhodes, just didnt think it was super appropriate or relevant for the promo.

the message he WAS trying to say was a positive one and for unity etc, so its unfortunate that it has missed its mark. Liek I was saying to you earlier, I think you and Chris are correct in your assessment that he MEANT all the right things here. just poor wording/delivery/rambling imo
