According to a new F4WOnline.com report, Ryback is in line for a babyface turn in WWE, following Paul Heyman dismissing him as a "Paul Heyman Guy" on Raw this week.

The current creative plan in WWE would see Heyman bring Brock Lesnar back to destroy Ryback, as Heyman would blame Ryback for CM Punk putting Heyman in a wheelchair.

The match is tentatively being booked for the Royal Rumble, as WWE officials would like to see Goldberg return to the company for a match against Ryback at WrestleMania 30. This is unlikely, however, as most in WWE feel Goldberg would have to job at WrestleMania, and he has stated in numerous interviews in the past that he has no interest in returning to WWE for a big match only to lose the bout.

Pppfftt. He was so bad they dropped him from Heyman. He doesn't deserve Brock

It's not Brock's fault that WWE jobbed Ryback in almost every fucking PPV and make him look pathetic. Ryback definitely isn't the best wrestler in the face of WWE but I'd be down to see him and Lesnar go at it in a slugfest. Hell if booked right this match could potentially be better then Punk/Lesnar, because let's face it, Ryback is a much more believable being that could take down Lesnar then Punk was.

Don't care what anybody says that Punk/Brock match was amazingly fun to watch. Ryback is big and all but he just doesn't work the big man style anywhere near as good as he should to make it interesting to watch which is why most of his matches are forgettable. Don't see Brock/Ryback doing anything from a match stand point. As for him turning face he should have never turned heel in the first place and it is going to take some work to rebuild Ryback up.

Fuck no this would be horrible. If they're gonna give Brock a 'big guy' to work with outside of WrestleMania then give him Sheamus and let the two beat the shit out of each other.

Just one thing at the end I find interesting: Why does Goldberg necessarily have to lose at Wrestlemania?

As for Ryback, it's a feud I'm sorta interested in but I don't think putting Ryback against the one guy who's scarier than him is the best way to get him over, since Ryback being a beast is supposed to be his key strength.

Putting him against Brock, and winning would do a lot for Ryback, and make Brock look pathetic having all that time off to rest and train only to get beat by a beast who does it 52 weeks a year.

Fuck out of here. If it had to be a big man who hasn't been world champ before, make it Big E, at least he knows how to play the power game and be intense when he works. I really have no interest in watching Ryback outside tag matches after the string of Punk/Ryback performances and burials.

As for Goldberg, I wouldn't have him win a mania match. He's really not done anything worthy of being given a W outside a Rumble type environment. Plus he needs a L after that WM 20 shit.

Fuck off Figure Four, I thought your site said Ryback was in Vince McMahons doghouse and had Heyman taken away and jobbed out to Punk. You can't say this shit now.

Let me get this straight, the guy who was supposedly had his push halted because he hurt CM Punk in Chicago, said to be green as grass and the drizzling shits is now entrusted to carry a program with the companies biggest PPV draw? Seriously?

Ryback isn't over enough these days for the WWE to have any real Wrestlemania plans for him unless they're big on getting Kofi Kingston over. Who knows if he's "in line" for much of anything. The WWE has to figure out what to do with the character. If there are issues with his development as a performer or attitude, then he may just go wherever the fuck the Jersey Shore parody went. I just think if the WWE had major, main event caliber plans for the guy, they would have been doing a lot more than what you see on TV anymore.

While I questioned how abruptly they turned the guy heel when he seemed so over as a fan favorite, I don't know that this is really all the WWE's fault. Eventually, I think the fans would have stopped giving any fucks about him.

Ryback is not bad they have booked him horribly. They should have given him a small title run when he was hot. They've made him lose allot more than he should.

Plus he's much better face than a heel. I think a real run and a real push for something he could do well.

Honestly not a fan of Ryback, I don't think he'll work as a face now, it's also to quick to just change him back he hasn't done enough as a heel. Not a fan of Brock though either. I don't see much out of them facing each other I suppose Ryback winning would make him seem viable in some people's eyes but meh.

As far as Goldberg involved with either of them. It could only help ryback if he some how looked great in the match, otherwise it's pretty dumb to put him in a match with a guy whose shadow he can't get out of. We already got Goldberg and Brock and other than it being ironically funny them only being back for the one ppv (Brocks contract would be up at least to be negotiated). Also who wins and why? I'd think the best way to do that would be a run in or double dq of some sort.

I'd be okay with this now that I've thought about it. Brock signed for so many dates right? Maybe use one of them in hopes to get Ryback over who they clearly want over.

Ryback also commented on Goldberg and Vince McMahon:

"He [Vince] is the Roman emperor, and we are all his gladiators. And I want to be the biggest, baddest gladiator.”

“I have a great amount of respect for Bill Goldberg, but I’m not going to beat around the bush and say I wanna be best friends with the guy. I’d like to face him in the ring. I’ve heard him say he’s not happy with comments I’ve made about him, if he has a problem with it let’s settle it at Wrestlemania.”

So the challenge was issued on CBS.
