It wasn't just the ending though. It was how OP they made the Fiend. They started booing when Rollins was hitting curb stomp after curb stomp but the Fiend kept getting up. I mean, they made him more OP than the Undertaker and I think that was their first mistake. But yeah, the boos started ten minutes before the end of the match.
I think they want him to be the "new Undertaker" in a sense. This is probably a mistake though. Undertaker got big because of his legacy and years of great matches, good character building, and solid feuds that kept people entertained. The fans were part of creating who he became.

I don't even mind him being the new Undertaker. But he shouldn't be more invincible than the Undertaker. After what happened last night, not even Brock Lesnar is a credible opponent for the Fiend.

It seems like they gave him a power level rating of 100 across the board. I am honestly not sure who they were targeting with that but even the biggest Bray fans are pissed about it.

If you send Cujo I will gladly surrender, and I'll remember.

You are wise, for this is indeed the scariest cat ever.

I think the main event (the only bit i was really interested in) was done so well, I was really hoping they didn't put the belt on The Fiend because it wouldn't look right on him and his character is best how it is now, attacking people in creepy ways etc, and despite whatever the result was, was it a DQ? a KO? a NC? he still finished really strong and the ending was great to continue looking unstoppable but away from the title.

It would also help that if they were to put the title on him later on for it not to be that horrible cartoonish red colour, because it would look really stupid around his waist on his entrance.

Its just like Bryan Alvarez said, IT CAN AND IT WILL GET WORSE

Im still trying to find where exactly this was said, but appearntly WWE themselves said that the ref stopped the match to protect bray....seth was beating him up too badly...and the ref thought bray couldnt continue..so he stopped the match...

Not only was it reported that https://wrestletalk.com/news/report-vince-mcmahon-was-laughing-at-negative-hiac-fan-reaction/ but now WWE tries to damage control and in the process make it that much worse? not only did the fiend NOT WIN by DQ..but Seth Rollins won...because the ref thought the fiend could not continue....

FOr those defending WWE, i want you to remember what Brayn Alvarez said and pointed out, thsi company your defending, thinks your a fucking stupid mark, because they can shit on you, advertise superstars like stone cold undertaker and sting and not deliver them, advertise 205 live and then just decide not to do it. Oh, did you like kofi? well you are stupid for believeing in him because he was always just a pathetic mid card guy, and here is brock defeating him in 7 seconds, didnt even kick out of 1 F5. And if you thought it couldnt be worse, we are gonna end Hell In A Cell with a DQ finish, which should be impossible because there are NO DQs in this match, let alone the fact sledgehammers have been used before. And why are they doing all of this? because they believe you are a dumb mark, and you are just gonna take all of this shit, and your just gonna keep buying tickets buying PPVs, because they know they can do whatever the hell they want, and you are just gonna take it.

Thats why Vince was laughing at the negative feedback, regardless of if he knew he screwed up or not, because thats what Vince thinks of you, its how WWE has treated fans for years and it wont change, you can devfend them and you have ever right to, but do so knowing the company your defending, thinks you are a dumb mark.

And in a twisted kind way, i cant wait for raw tonight to see how they handle this...i truly cant wait, not only am i certainly gonna recap it as i always do, but going forward to give you guys more of a reason to read the recap im gonna mix play by play with my own personal commentary mixed in, so you get a review AND recap all in one.

My idea is that when Seth was going to hit Bray with the Sledgehammer; Bray would have pulled a Undertaker-esque thing and grabbed it and thus stopping it. Bray would then get up holding the Sledge while Seth is all like "What the fuck is going on." Bray then tosses the Sledge away and him and Seth go back to what they were doing and in the final moments you can have Seth pick up the Sledge again and Bray his mallet and have both KO each other and thus ending the match in a double KO.

It shows that both men were willing to "kill" the other, neither looks weak and overall I think it would have been better. I could have explained this better, but that is my general idea and I suck at explaining stuff.

Man, this thread went from meh to toxic to trolling to what I expect out of every wrestling forum/discussion now. I give this thread a "Why in the hell did I decide to read this when I knew half of the responses" / 10
You know Seth...when you walk into a thread
& judge all of the other people in it...it makes
you sound like an pretentious bell end.

Just saying.

Sorry if that comment is too "toxic" for you,

Because they are irritated by it. And that's valid. There are things that you don't like and you don't have to defend why you don't like them. Most people wanted to see a conclusive match. And it's as okay for them to think that as it is for you to not.

The only sensible thing is that he chose Rollins because he wanted the championship. If he wanted to make a point, he could have made a better point by destroying Brock Lesnar, Braun Strowman, Luke Harper and Rowan at the same time, Roman Reigns. Sorry, it's silly to actually think he went after the champion for any other reason than he wanted the championship.

Disagree. It didn't get come off as Bray was playing mind games by staying on the mat. It came off as him needed recovery time. If they meant it as mind games, then they failed because barely anyone seems to have come to the conclusion.

It's the writer's job to convey what is going on so the fans WILL understand it. It's not the fans fault if the writers fail at this.

Again, you don't have to understand it. I don't understand why people are so worked up by the Fiend character in the first place.

You are wrong here. This is not about not having to cater to the fans. This is about doing something far beyond just not catering to the fans. This is about making such an asinine decision that they should have known would piss their fans off. Fans will get angry about decisions, but they still pay the bills. They could walk a fine line between not catering to the fans and not making them so unbelievably angry like they did here. That's just dumb business.

When the company doesn't cater to the fans, they still have to try to have those fans continue to watch their product. They still have to not piss them off so badly that they won't come back. They failed at this.
I respectfully disagree with you my friend. All I can say is that we will see how it all plays out.

Right I've watched it all and I have come to this conclusion.

WWE thinks Becky hitting Sasha with a chain around her fist hurts less than a sledgehammer to the face. The chain is fine but a sledgehammer? That's too far.
