Re: Impact Wrestling Tidbits, Rumours & General Discussion

Thursday's Impact Wrestling episode scored a 0.83 cable TV rating while averaging 1.06 million viewers.

Viewers were down 26% from last week's live episode, which scored a 1.07 rating and averaged 1.38 million viewers.

This episode was TNA's least viewed show in over three years since the Monday night experiment.

Well that's not good at all

Re: Impact Wrestling Tidbits, Rumours & General Discussion

I'm not entirely surprised. Impact was DRY this week. One of the blandest things I've seen since... well you see where I'm going. I didn't watch the previous edition but I assume a lot of folks were seeing what I did last week. Uninspired, uninteresting slow-paced nothing-but-kicks-and-punches sluggish wrestling and dull promos. TNA earned those low ratings.

That being said I hope they improve. I will forever be a TNA loyalist. I'll call them out, but I wish them the best.

Meh, the numbers have been worse and TNA have rebound. They've also managed to stay alive for over a decade, even after all the Jeff Jarrett nonsense, so they're going to be ok.

Re: Impact Wrestling Tidbits, Rumours & General Discussion

It was a taped episode in a new time slot. Sure it's disappointing, especially for a PPV lead in, but let's wait until next week when people are a bit more used to the time slot and it's a live episode. Then judge.

So Crimson, Joey Ryan, Taeler Hendrix, and Christian York have all been released by TNA. Proving they are dumb. See ya in NXT Joey and Crimson.

Can't say I'll miss any of them, apart from maybe Crimson, simply because I thought TNA had something with him at one point.

Joey is better off back in PWG although NXT is a possibility as he's done work with WWE in the past (then again, so has Scorpio Sky and that hasn't materialised).

If anything, the whole thing makes a mockery of Gutcheck. Why would anyone want to participate now if you're out of contract one year later?

Well, I do think Scorpio would have done something with the WWE but unfortunately he called a fan a "smurf" on Twitter and WWE didn't really like that so they said fuck it and just let him go. I can see Joey in NXT but I'd like him back in PWG for selfish reasons.

I know that dude on Twitter, he's pretty proud of that Sky thing.

I can't imagine Joey in NXT... seriously, it would be cool but I actually can't imagine it.

I'd be ecstatic if a wrestler that's fairly well known called me a smurf. I'd feel like I accomplished something in life

It would be weird but I wouldn't have imagined PAC in NXT and he's doing fantastic right now.

Re: General IMPACT Wrestling Discussion

Or hell, who would've imagined Generico in NXT and to be doing so well? I guess anything could happen with Joey!

Anyone else really like the Bro Mans?

They just entertain me more than anyone.

1/2 of it is Robbie E., so that's understandable.

Shame they lost to GunStorm straight out.

Re: General IMPACT Wrestling Discussion

I'd like to see the Bro Mans win the Tag Team Championship but I feel that won't happen as I think TNA see them as just a comedy group.
