Ameriie Eyes Spring Release for ‘Cymatika’
‘1 Thing’ singer Ameriie has been very busy considering her extended absence from the music scene. Now, after marrying manager Lenny Nicholson, the newlywed is eyeing a return to the charts in 2012 with her 5th studio album ‘Cymatika’.

However, regardless of how the singer’s past attempts have fallen deaf on record buyer’s ears, her music has always been an eclectic fusion of genres that is much appreciated – even if only by devoted fans. Let’s hope next-go-round, that appreciation expands.

Right now I’m continuing the recording process for the album. The album is called Cymatika, which is named after cymatics, the study of visual sound. The last album was very hip-hop soul, R&B, and rock, but this time I fused electronica and new wave, and a lot of classic song structure.
We’re thinking we’re going to put it out probably like spring of next year. It’s not finished yet. It’s all about the creative process. Half the time by the time we deliver the album and it’s already mixed and mastered I’m on to the next sound.
Here’s hoping the singer’s ‘next sound’ is one that cements her place on the charts. It is unfortunate that artists like Ameriie are losing their identities by succumbing to the wave that is electro-pop. With early leaks like ‘Outside Your Body’ possibly indicating the direction the album is going, Mrs. Rogers-Nelson runs the risk of being trapped in that same cliche.We’re thinking we’re going to put it out probably like spring of next year. Beyonce Triple Play on Billboard 200
Beyonce may be #1 with ‘4′, but now the ‘Diva’ singer has 3 albums on the Billboard 200 simultaneously. For what comes as an astonishing feat, 2008’s ‘I Am Sasha Fierce’ and 2003’s ‘Dangerously In Love’ have both re-entered the charts this week at #90 and #168 respectively.

It seems that Beyonce’s UK Beyhive are more eager than ever to thank her for her show stopping performance at ‘The Glastonbury Festival’.
For they have kept her latest album ‘4′ at the #1 spot in this weeks album chart for a second week, enabling her to trump the commercial efforts of chart rivals Adele and Lady GaGa.

Elsewhere on the chart, Rihanna’s ‘Loud‘ slid up by three chart positions to #8 and falling down by 4 places was Jessie J’s ‘Who You Are‘ which is now #10 after being #6 last week.
Chris Brown’s ‘FAME‘ made its way to higher ground to #16 this week and Lady GaGa’s ‘The Fame‘ enjoyed further chart revitalization as it is now #18 after a debuting on the chart 130 weeks ago.
Katy Perry will have cause to celebrate today, as her ‘Teenage Dream‘ soared up the charts by 20 places placing her back into the Top 40.

The honeymoon may be over, but that didn’t stop Ameriie from celebrating. The newly married singer partied the night away at LAX Nightclub in Las Vegas on Saturday. She arrived shortly before 1 a.m. and settled into her VIP table with husband Lenny Nicholson, according to Haute Living.
The stunning star tested her skills in the DJ booth and shouted out a group of women who were celebrating a bachelorette party. The crowd was then treated to performances of “Gotta Work” and “1 Thing,” as she handed the mic to a few patrons to sing along. Before the night came to a close, she retreated to her table with her husband by her side.

Beyoncé had a busy weekend performing back-to-back shows in Europe. On Saturday, the international superstar stormed Scotland for the T in the Park festival and before she could catch her breath, she was right back on stage at Sunday’s Oxegen festival in Ireland. Thousands of fans stood in the blistering heat to get a glimpse of the breathtaking beauty, who dazzled in a beaded fringe number, as she performed the same set from the night before.
