- April 30th Newswire: ROH officials received signed contracts back from Prince Nana for May 8th in Boston and a Six-Man Tag Team match has been added to the card. The team of Brent Albright, Erick Stevens, and Colt "Boom Boom" Cabana will oppose Nana's force of the crown jewel, Jimmy Rave, Claudio Castagnoli, and Joey Ryan! It turns out that the voicemail message at the end of the most recent ROH Videowire at http://www.rohvideos.com/watch?v=YIVZg5BlP-A was indeed Joey Ryan letting Nana know that he's on board with the Embassy; and to that end he will bring the sleaze to Boston and Edison along side Rave, Dirty Ernie, Castagnoli, and Nana! This also means that Nana will be in Ryan's corner in Edison on May 9th as he takes on Cabana in a singles contest!

- ROH officials are happy to announce that we have come to terms with Nick and Matt Jackson – collectively known as The Young Bucks. This incredibly exciting tag team will make their ROH debut in Philadelphia on May 29th and 30th as part of the next set of Ring of Honor on HDNet National Television Tapings. The Bucks will also compete on June 12th in Manassas, VA and on June 13th at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. ROH's tag team division is about to get hotter!

- ROH officials are in negotiations to bring a high profile talent to Toronto when Ring of Honor returns to Canada on July 24th and 25th and the Ted Reeve Arena. As already announced, ROH Ambassador "Nature Boy" Ric Flair will appear on July 25th. We will keep you posted as information becomes available.

- Don't forget you can catch up with Ring of Honor on Twitter at http://www.twitter.com/rohonhdnet. See what is going on minute-by-minute in ROH on Twitter.

- The injury bug's bite still stings. Jon Davis of the Dark City Fight Club has been in contact with the ROH office over the past 36 hours to update us on his situation. His left wrist was completely dislocated in the tag team match against Kevin Steen and Jay Briscoe in Dayton. Doctors in Dayton reset the wrist, and advised Davis not to compete until a more thorough exam was completed. That exam was finished late Tuesday and the prognosis is unclear. It appears a tendon in his hand may have ruptured, which would require immediate surgery to repair. We will have more information in next week's Newswire as updates come in.

- Just added to the ROH on HDNet National Television Tapings on May 29th and 30th at the Arena in Philadelphia: Tyler Black, Eddie Kingston (5/30 only); Brent Albright, Erick Stevens, Rhett Titus, Kenny King, and Austin Aries. These in addition to those talents already announced including the Young Bucks, KENTA, and ROH Ambassador "Nature Boy" Ric Flair! Tickets are on sale now at www.rohwrestling.com.

Joey Ryan in The Embassy=GREATNESS!

Meh. The Embassy is fine the way they are. Adding Claudio was enough.

May 4th: As announced in this morning’s main page article http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/article.aspx?id=2759, Bret “Hitman†Hart will appear in Toronto on July 24th! Information on ticket prices for the autograph session will be announced soon. July 24th and 25th in Toronto is going to be huge; Bret Hart and Ric Flair on back-to-back nights in Ring of Honor! Get your tickets now at www.rohwrestling.com!

May 4th: We have some unfortunate injury news concerning this weekend’s events in Boston and Edison. Jon Davis of the Dark City Fight Club has suffered a far worse wrist dislocation than originally thought, and he will be undergoing surgery this week to correct the problem. As a result, the Dark City Fight Club will not be appearing in Boston or Edison as scheduled. Recovery time for Davis is unknown at this point and everyone at Ring of Honor wishes him a fast and safe recovery.

May 4th: The Super Smash Brothers will now take the spots left open due to Davis’ injury. They will face Rhett Titus and Kenny King on Friday in Boston, and on Saturday in Edison they’ll face Brent Albright and Erick Stevens.

May 4th: We also regret to inform that Tyler Black is also injured and will not be appearing as scheduled in Boston or Edison. Black aggravated a pre-existing neck injury during the epic 45-minute Tag Title match against the American Wolves in Markham. Unfortunately the injury hasn’t responded to treatment as well as in the past, and further treatment is necessary that will keep Black out of action. He is not expected to miss the next ROH on HDNet National Television tapings on May 29th and 30th in Philadelphia. We apologize for any inconvenience these unfortunate injuries may cause.

May 4th: The tag team title match scheduled for this Saturday will still happen. Tyler Black told ROH officials that he has a partner in mind for Bryan Danielson, but we are awaiting confirmation from this competitor before making it 100% official. We hope to have the announcement tomorrow right here in the ROH News Wire.

May 4th: When opportunity knocks, apparently Chris Hero answers. “That Young Knockout Kid†was on the phone with the ROH Booking Committee as soon as he heard that Tyler Black was on the shelf for this weekend. “I beat Jerry Lynn in Boston last time,†exclaimed Hero. “It’s only natural that I do it again, in front of the same fans, and become ROH World Champion!†Hero was not scheduled for this weekend’s events, but Jerry Lynn did not appreciate what he heard. “Hero used his loaded elbow last time, and everyone knows it. I got some revenge at Final Battle, but I’d love nothing more than to beat him in a singles. And especially in Boston where they saw him screw me last time.†ROH officials quickly agreed and made the match. It will be Lynn versus Hero on Friday in Boston.

May 4th: The "Triple Savings Sale" is back at ROHWrestling.com. You can now save 20% Off your next order placed on the ROH website. We also have over 70 DVD's priced at $5 or less. In addition all live event tickets are on sale and have already been marked down 25% off their regular price. This sale is up and running until Thursday morning. May 5th: ROH officials spoke earlier today to both Tyler Black and the man he has selected to take his place in the World Tag Team Title match in Edison. Black once again expressed his apologies for not being able to perform for the fans in Edison, and especially to Bryan Danielson, as he firmly believes that he and Dragon can beat the American Wolves. Black went on to tell ROH officials that he hopes to be ready for action by May 29th in Philly, and that the man he chose to replace him this Saturday has accepted the offer. That man is no stranger to teaming with Danielson – in fact, he just gained a victory in Montreal with Dragon as a partner - and that man wants the Wolves blood on his hands in the worst way. That man is Kevin Steen. It will be Danielson and Steen versus the Wolves in Edison with the World Tag team titles on the line this Saturday night. Tickets are now on sale at www.rohwrestling.com.

May 5th: With the ROH Booking Committee granting Steen his petition to be a part of the World Tag Title match on Saturday, the card has been shuffled. Sonjay Dutt will now oppose “That Young Knockout Kidâ€￾ Chris Hero in singles action. Should Hero defeat Jerry Lynn in Boston he will defend the ROH World Title against Dutt.

May 5th: In case you haven’t been paying attention, ROH returns to Toronto and the Ted Reeve Arena on July 24th and 25th with a huge weekend of legends as both Ric Flair and Bret Hart will make appearances! Information on the Bret Hart signing can be found here: http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/article.aspx?id=2759. Tickets for both autograph signing are now on sale. The question is; what more could there be in store?

May 5th: Added to the huge HDNet National Television Tapings on May 29th and 30th: Jimmy Jacobs, Claudio Castagnoli, Delirious, Daizee Haze, and MsChif. Don’t forget that KENTA and ROH Ambassador Ric Flair will also be in the house! We will announce the first of the 6 main events to be filmed that weekend in the next ROH Newswire!

May 5th: Don’t forget to keep up with ROH on Twitter at http://twitter.com/rohonhdnet. You can follow the day-to-day happenings of ROH and its stars at the click of your mouse!

May 5th: Only two days remain in The "Triple Savings Sale". This is a tremendous deal for those looking to purchase tickets for any upcoming live ROH events including this weekend in Boston & Edison. For complete details click here: http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/article.aspx?id=2151.

The event features Jerry Lynn vs. Chris Hero for the ROH World Title; Bryan Danielson vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Eddie Edwards; Davey Richards vs. Kevin Steen; Jay Briscoe vs. The Necro Butcher; Brent Albright, Erick Stevens, & Colt Cabana vs. Jimmy Rave, Claudio Castagnoli, & Joey Ryan with Prince Nana; plus more. Tickets will be available to purchase at the door on the night of the show!!!

May 7th: On Saturday night we're back in Edison, NJ at the Inman Sports Club, 990 Inman Avenue, with a zip code of 08820. Bell time is 7:30pm. This show features Jerry Lynn (if still champion) vs. Jay Briscoe for the ROH World Title; The American Wolves vs. Bryan Danielson & Kevin Steen for the World Tag Team Titles; Sonjay Dutt vs. Chris Hero; Colt Cabana vs. Joey Ryan; Necro Butcher & Delirious vs. Claudio Castagnoli & Jimmy Rave with Prince Nana; plus more. Tickets will be available to purchase at the door on the night of the show.

May 7th: ROH has added a special meet & greet autograph session to both events this weekend that will take place during intermission with several stars from the ROH roster. In addition, for this weekend only our usual “Buy 3, Get 1 Free†ROH DVD Sale at the live events will be “Buy 3, Get 2 Freeâ€. This sale will be available exclusively in Boston and Edison.

May 7th: This week's edition of "Ring of Honor Wrestling" on HDNet will feature a #1 Contender's Match for the ROH World Title with Bryan Danielson vs. Tyler Black. You will also see Mixed Tag Team action with Delirious & Daizee Haze vs. Jimmy Jacobs & MsChif plus appearances by Colt Cabana, Nigel McGuinness, The American Wolves, plus more. For additional information visit http://www.hd.net/ringofhonor.html.

May 7th: Jon Davis of the Dark City Fight Club had successful surgery to repair the severe dislocations in his wrist as well as unexpected tendon and ligament damage. The injury was much more severe than originally thought, and doctors do not know how Davis did not pass out from the initial injury and subsequent pain. That is a testament to the toughness that the DCFC exudes. ROH wishes Davis well in his recovery, which at this point, is of an unknown duration. The Dark City Fight Club will return to ROH.

May 7th: We should have an update on the El Generico injury situation next week as he is scheduled to see doctors in the next few days.

May 7th: Meanwhile, Kevin Steen is salivating at the prospect of getting his hands on Davey Richards two times this upcoming weekend. And Richards isn’t running by any means. Steen wants to make Davey pay for what the Wolves have done, and Davey is reveling in it. He jumped on Steen’s most recent comments, “That fat slob wants to do something about it; wants to hurt me – well, in Boston, lets see how bad Steen is. I say we make that match “Anything Goesâ€. Then we’ll see how bad Fatso is.†Steen quickly took that opening and ROH officials concurred – Richards versus Steen in Boston will now be ANYTHING GOES!

May 7th: Everyone at ROH wants to once again apologize for the vast amount of injuries that have forced this weekend’s event to change several times as well as causing two-thirds of the most recent Videowire to be scrapped. To make it up to the fans, ROH is adding a special meet & greet autograph session to both events this weekend that will take place during intermission with several stars from the ROH roster. In addition, for this weekend only our usual “Buy 3, Get 1 Free†ROH DVD Sale at the live events will be “Buy 3, Get 2 Freeâ€.

May 7th: Tyler Black thinks he’ll be back to 100% by the time ROH and HDNet tape another 6 weeks of National Television at the Arena in South Philly on May 29th and 30th. Ring of Honor officials hope so, because signed as one of the 6 main events to be filmed that weekend is a rematch from “Tag Title Classic†in Markham. It will pit the American Wolves – Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards – against Tyler Black and Bryan Danielson. As we all know, this match was supposed to take place this weekend, and was changed due to Tyler’s injury. Now Philadelphia will get the match! Who will wear the gold come Philly? And remember, you don’t want to miss out on the return of KENTA to Philly as well as ROH Ambassador “Nature Boy†Ric Flair! Tickets are on sale now at www.rohwrestling.com.

May 7th: Signed for June 13th when ROH returns to New York City and the Hammerstein Ballroom is a tremendous tag team match. Kenny King and Rhett Titus are cocky and brash, and with a little seasoning could become one of the best tag teams in ROH. They’ve aligned themselves with Austin Aries and it seems that their stock has never been higher. On 6/13 they’ll face a team that would love nothing more than to lock in a spot in the ROH tag team division – and a win in NYC could do just that. It’ll be King and Titus taking on the debuting Young Bucks – Nick and Matt Jackson!

May 7th: You can now purchase all in stock Ring of Honor DVD's from 2002-2004 for the special sale price of only $8 each. This is a special three day sale (ending Saturday at midnight) is available while supplies last. Don't miss the opportunity to pick up classic ROH events on DVD at this low

May 11th: As announced this morning on the main page, Lance Storm is making his return to Ring of Honor (http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/article.aspx?id=2767)! He will wrestle during both events when ROH returns to Toronto on July 24th and 25th! ROH officials are working diligently to find two matches that will showcase Storm’s incredible talents. Tickets are on sale now for these events at www.rohwrestling.com, and they will be known as “Death Before Dishonor VII: Legends Editionâ€! Don’t miss out on this historic weekend that already includes appearances by Bret “Hitman†Hart and “Nature Boy†Ric Flair.

May 11th: One of our biggest sales to ever take place at ROHWrestling.com is back. You can now save 35-40% Off Your Next Order. Don't delay as time is running out. Full details on the sale, along with the discount codes can be found here: http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/article.aspx?id=2767.

May 11th: The Super Smash Brothers made a great impression on both the ROH fans and officials in both Boston and Edison; receiving “Please come back†chants from the ROH faithful. We are pleased to announce that they indeed will come back – and as part of Death Before Dishonor VII! They will be in action on July 24th and 25th in Toronto!

May 11th: HDNet cameras were in the house last Friday night in Boston, filming for several upcoming commercials as well as the first installments of “the Art of Pro Wrestlingâ€, with your host, Colt “Boom Boom†Cabana! Coming soon to ROH on HDNet!

May 11th: Sonjay Dutt did not disappoint in Boston or Edison either. The charismatic veteran had two excellent showings despite coming up short on both nights, and to that end, has been added to the two big events on June 12th in Manassas and June 13th in New York City! Don’t forget that ROH Ambassador Ric Flair will also be in attendance on both nights! We’ll have Dutt’s opponents soon right here in the Newswire!

May 11th: Claudio Castagnoli and his associates in The Embassy certainly haven’t made any friends, and you can now add the Necro Butcher to their list of enemies after this past weekend. It seemed that Jimmy Rave was most disgusted by him. He took every opportunity to insult Necro by repeatedly spitting in his face. And while it was obvious to everyone that Jimmy wanted no part of Necro physically, he threw the first “punch†with his disgusting display. We’ll have more on this as it develops.

May 11th: Also announced this morning is the second of 6 main events that will take place when HDNet crews return to Philadelphia on May 29th and 30th to film 6 more weeks of “Ring of Honor Wrestling on HDNetâ€. The main page article says it all (http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/article.aspx?id=2768), it will be Roderick Strong versus Jay Briscoe in Philly! Jay came within eyelashes of winning the ROH World Title in Edison, and Roddy has been on fire since returning from Pro Wrestling NOAH. Friendly rivalries are great, but this one has been off the hook! Fans in St. Louis and Markham, Ontario can attest – you don’t want to miss this one! Plus, KENTA and “Nature Boy†Ric Flair! Tickets are on sale now!

May 11th: Just released and in stock is "Steel City Clash" from Elizabeth, PA from March 20th. This event features GHC Jr. Champion KENTA & El Generico vs. ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness & Davey Richards; Tyler Black & Necro Butcher vs. Jimmy Jacobs & Brodie Lee in a Falls Count Anywhere Match; Roderick Strong vs. Austin Aries; Bryan Danielson vs. Mike Quackenbush; plus more. To order this DVD click here: http://www.rohwrestling.com/shoponline. ... 87&id=3029.

May 11th: Could a new look for rohwrestling.com be in store soon? Keep your eyes peeled!

May 12th: As announced in this morning’s main page article http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/article.aspx?id=2770 , the second of the 6 main events to be filmed at the next ROH on HDNet National Television tapings is official. On May 29th at the Arena in south Philadelphia, Roderick Strong will face KENTA in singles action! Roddy has been on a roll since returning from Pro Wrestling NOAH, and this will be perhaps his biggest challenge to date. Tickets are on sale for the tapings on May 29th and 30th at www.rohwrestling.com . Don’t be left out as this match is a potential classic!

May 12th: Prince Nana was very happy with Joey Ryan’s debut in Boston and Edison last weekend. And even though Ryan lost a singles contest to Colt Cabana, Prince Nana believes he is a great asset to the Embassy. “I know these fools like the Boo Boo Cabana think they have an advantage, eh, but they will fall. This is why I will bring the sleaze to Detroit and Chicago. I bring Joey Ryan to show those stinking pigs the power of the Embassy!†Joey Ryan will be in action on June 26th in Detroit and June 27th in Chicago. Don’t forget, ROH Ambassador Ric Flair will also appear. Tickets are on sale now for both events!

May 12th: ROH is also happy to announce that Petey Williams will appear in Detroit on June 26th and Chicago on June 27th. ROH officials are high on his athleticism and look forward to his matches during that doubleshot weekend.

May 12th: Jimmy Jacobs has been obsessed with bringing down Tyler Black. And after the brutal attack on Black with his railroad spike last time in Chicago, it would seem that Jacobs is once again firmly inside Tyler’s head. Since then, ROH officials have told both competitors that the violence cannot go on long term, and that they must settle their differences once and for all. ROH officials have given each man the right to choose a match that they believe will end the feud. Jacobs was first to respond, citing the pleasure he received when seeing the footage of a fallen Tyler, lying in a pool of his own blood while surrounding fans chanted the word “disappointmentâ€. “I know they thought they were shouting that to me,†said Jacobs. “But the eyes of those who will not see are only open to fallacy, and the truth is that Tyler is my biggest disappointment. And I will put an end to that disappointment in New York and he will bleed again as I select a First Blood match.†Tyler Black has yet to respond with the match he has chosen.

May 12th: Signed for ROH’s return to Manassas and New York: ROH World Champion Jerry Lynn, ROH World Tag Team Champions The American Wolves, Kevin Steen, Bryan Danielson, Tyler Black, Colt Cabana, Eddie Kingston (6/13 only), and Roderick Strong. This is in addition to Guido Maritato (6/13 only), The Young Bucks, Sonjay Dutt, and ROH Ambassador “Nature Boy†Ric Flair. We’ll have more matches announced for both events in the next ROH Newswire!

May 12th: Don’t forget to keep up with ROH on Twitter at www.twitter.com/rohonhdnet

May 12th: Our gigantic 35-40% Off Sale is up and running until Thursday morning at ROHWrestling.com. Save big on your next order. Full details on the sale, along with the discount codes can be found here: http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/article.aspx?id=2767 .

May 12th: Lance Storm talks about his upcoming in-ring return at Death Before Dishonor VII at http://www.stormwrestling.com/051109.html . As announced, he will appear in Toronto on July 24th and 25th, and will be in action on both nights. Don’t forget that Bret Hart will appear on the 24th and Ric Flair on the 25th! Tickets are on sale now!

That's some awesome news! Kenta Vs Roddy will be crazy, definitely gotta see that match. Petey Williams in ROH is also good, hopefully him and Dutt continue to come in for more matches throughout the year or become main stays. Should be interesting to see who they throw up against Petey. Lance Storm pwns too.

That Steen vs Richards match looked bad-ass. Can't wait for that show to come out.. Even if its just a one match show.
