TNA Impact:

*Impact opens with Karen and Jeff Jarrett coming out. Karen demands all the Knockouts come out as she is sure one of them was Kurt Angle's mistress. She goes down the Knockouts one by one and comes down to Velvet Sky. She rips apart Sky, who goes to slap Karen but Jeff ends up taking the slap. During this segment Madison Rayne also trash talks Tara a bit. Winter and Angelina Love go after Velvet...

*Angelina Love defeated Velvet Sky via submission when Sky passed out to a Love submission. Love was doing the trance deal where nothing hurt her when Sky was on the offense.

*Anarquia defeated Chris Sabin. Mexican America worked over Sabin until the returning Alex Shelley made the save. Mexican America noted they were going to celebrate Cinco del Mayo next week.

*Backstage Sting destroys Mr. Anderson's truck and leaves his bat in the windshield before leaving.

*Gunner defeated Christopher Daniels in a good match.

*We get an in-ring promo. Sting is out first followed by Mr. Anderson. Anderson is pissed and wants Sting tonight. RVD comes out next. After having a few words, Hulk Hogan comes out and announced a 3-way match featuring Sting vs Mr. Anderson vs Bully Ray for tonight.

*Crimson defeated Samoa Joe by DQ when Abyss came out and attacked Crimson.

*New TNA Knockouts champion Mickie James cuts a promo dedicating her title win to the fans and thanks them for their support.

*TNA champion Sting defeated Bully Ray and Mr. Anderson. Great match with all three getting a decent amount of offense in. Bully Ray played his ultra heel great in this match. Bully used a steel pipe on Sting after a ref bump. AJ Styles came out and attacked Ray. Sting used the pipe on Ray and scored the pin.

Looks better than the previous night, but not by much. Find it amazing the size of the push that Bully Ray is getting, granted he's not winning titles but there's so many other options on the roster that could get the rub from being involved in the immortal group.

TNA Impact (Airing Thursday on Spike TV):

* Jesse Neal comes out in his USS Cole uniform with the entire TNA roster on the ramp. I didn't get the specifics of the promo but I imagine it had to do with the killing of Osama Bin Laden. My correspondent is unsure if this will be included in this week's show.

* Immortal come out for a promo. Sting and Rob Van Dam hit the ring before a owrd can be spoken and a brawl ensues. Agents come down to break things up. Fortune comes out and Robert Roode gets on the mic and says he's sick of Immortal. Roode says everything will change next week.

* Backstage, Jeff Jarrett and Karen confront Velvet Sky in the shower.

* Mexican America come out for a Cinco de Mayo celebration. Hector Guerrero and Willie Urbina join in but the faction turns on Urbina, slurring his Puerto Rican background and begin to beat him down. Ink Inc. run out and make the save on Hernandez and Anarquia.

* Ink Inc. clear the ring and Jesse Neal gets on the mic and tells Beer Money they are going to win the TNA Tag Team Championship.

* Bully Ray & Gunner vs. Christopher Daniels & AJ Styles ends in no contest when Tommy Dreamer comes out, turns heel and hits a piledriver on Styles.

* Jeff Jarrett and Karen come out for an in-ring promo. They cal out Velvet Sky and a confrontation ensues. Winter and Angelina Love come out and join in. Kurt Angle comes out and gets on the mic and says he won't do anything that will get them kicked off the network. It's announced that Angle will team with Velvet Sky for a mixed handicap match against Winter, Angelina Love and Jarrett.

* Rob Terry b. Murphy with a suplex powerbomb.

* Mickie James b. Miss Tessmacher to retain the TNA Knockout Women's Championship. Mickie picked up the win after hitting a DDT. The match started well but fell apart. After the match, Madison Rayne and Tara come out and Madison challenges Mickie for a match for the title at Sacrifice. Mickie accepts with the stipulation if Madison loses she and Tara have to split and Tara is free.

* Sangrieto b. Suicide

* Kurt Angle & Velvet Sky vs. Jeff Jarrett, Angelina Love & Winter. Angle and Velvet win the match and he announces that his mistress will be revealed next week on Impact to end the show.
Looks pretty shit really. At least we get a Dreamer heel turn though

Show looks horrible, and them dragging out the Angle/Jarett feud and pulling more random people into makes me care about it even less.

The only decent thing is Karen & Jeff confronting Velvet in the shower. That's all i'll be watching Impact for.

-We open with Jeff and Karen in an in-ring promo. Apparently Karen will be in a match at Sacrifice alongside Jeff against Kurt and his mistress. Jeff and Karen are apologetic to Kurt asking for a truce. Kurt comes out and trash talks Karen. He said they will have to wait until later tonight when he introduces his business associate.

-Mickie James and Ms. Tessmacher defeated Madison Rayne and Tara after Tessmacher won with a rollup.

-Beer Money is in the ring and calls out Matt Hardy. At Sacrifice it will be Beer Money vs Matt Hardy and a Mystery Partner. Matt runs down Beer Money and says there would be no Beer Money without the Hardy Boys. Beer Money keeps telling Matt to bring his brother Jeff out so we can make this thing official. Matt claims that Jeff Hardy isn't his tag team partner. He introduces someone who knows James Storm well. Former half of America's Most Wanted Member, Wildcat Chris Harris appears on the entranceway and stares down Beer Money. Beer Money vs Matt Hardy and Chris Harris at Sacrifice.

-Sangriento defeated Suicide with the Back Springboard Cutter.

-Immortal comes to the ring. Hulk Hogan demands that the Network Executive come out. All of a sudden, Mick Foley comes out (he's the network exec). Foley said Hogan conned his way into controlling TNA, but TNA is no more. Foley said TNA has now become Impact Wrestling and because of that, Hulk Hogan is no longer in charge. Foley announced a 25-Man Battle Royal for the #1 Contendership later tonight.

He introduces Kurt Angle's tag team partner at Sacrifice to face the Jarrett's. Kurt Angle's mistress is revealed to be CHYNA! The fans in the Impact Zone are excited.

-Crimson defeated Abyss and Samoa Joe in a 3-Way Match. After the match, Abyss attacked Crimson. Joe and Abyss stared each other down until Joe left. Abyss hit his finisher on Crimson.

-They retape the whole Foley promo and Chyna introduction for some reason. This time they included a few marketing lines.

-Mr. Anderson won the 25 man Battle Royal to become the #1 Contender. After Ray and Dreamer eliminated AJ Styles, Ray ended up eliminating Dreamer. It came down to Bully Ray, Mr. Anderson, Jeff Jarrett and Kurt Angle. Ray brawled with Anderson on the outside while Angle and Jarrett fought in the ring. After Karen interfered, Jeff Jarrett was able to eliminate Kurt. Minutes later Chyna came out and eliminated Jeff Jarrett. She chased Jeff and Karen to the back. It was down to Mr. Anderson and Bully Ray. Anderson was able to hang on and dump Bully Ray to the outside to win the Battle Royal.

Show actually looks good, with all the changes and debuts going on. Anderson getting the #1 contender spot I guess means there going for a 3 way match at Sacrifice.

X-Division centred show, but they pretty much got the piss slapped out of them, especially with Abyss becoming champ :lmaoLooks a pretty awful show though.

Way to give the x-division hope and just take a big shit on them and make them look even weaker than they were which was hard to do but they pulled it off it seems.

They've done this before. They set up a non X-division wrestler to be a foil for the little guys. They did it with Nash back in 05 or 06 I think? For some reason they aren't content with just getting the product over by letting quality workers fucking work.

Hogan and Sting Potentially having a match...Bischoff in the ring, Abyss winning the X Div Title.....WRESTLING MATTERS

Once again changing the name of the show and redoing the sound stage doesn't mean shit, if your booking the show the same horrible way.

I actually like Abyss winning. I presume it'll lead to a smaller guy like Kendrick upsetting him and winning the X-Division gold, that being the culmination of this "uprising" storyline. I like the idea of the X-Division now coming together like a band of brothers and opposing Immortal and their "champion" Abyss. It looks stupid on paper, but in the long run it'll work.
