How did you like it because I really dug both Episodes. I'm used to the I'm the Doctor and this is what I do and this is my history type of Episode that is for the new fans to begin the 1st Episode. The Space Babies was good however got all those Kids to be so calm during the Episode deserves a raise unless I'm totally wrong and all of those Kids were crying like crazy. The Doctor is always going to do what is right no matter if means the Doctor has to get dirty and Ncuti not killing off the Bogeyman was no shock. I have questions though and it goes into The Devil's Chord how afraid the Doctor was of the Bogeyman. I wonder if the split has a major thing to do with that the Doctor did say after the Events of the Toymaker the Doctor couldn't go through another battle like that and he was true fear when he said it. The big thing in Space Babies the Flashback of Ruby being dropped off at that Church and Snow all around them in the Ship. I thought she was special and Maestro tells us the Viewer that Ruby is going to be majorly important in this Season.

The power of Music can be blessing or a curse depending on who is using it and Maestro completely forgot about that a long time ago. I figrued the Beatles would be involved somehow and Maestro wasn't expecting them to get involved late. Still Maestro is truly a scary Villain eating on the Music inside us all. For a moment there I thought they would have this continue in Episode 3 but they got it done perfectly with the Music Battle in 1963. The One who waits is almost here I wonder who is that gonna be?

Still Ruby and Ncuti's energy are so great with each other and both showed so much vulnerability in these two Episodes alone I hope it stays that way especially the Doctor who looks like he could be afraid of his own Shadow it was strong enough.

yeah I thoroughly enjoyed both episodes. Space Babies was great fun. Good way to introduce Doctor Who to a new audience. Then Devils Chord really gave us some stakes and intrigue as to where the rest of the season is gonna go.

I love that we're continuing that Toymaker saga with other universal beings. Hope they bring back Maestro somehow at some point. Hell I wouldn't mind if we get an Evil Avengers like teamup with Toymaker, Maestro, and the others Toymaker warned the Doctor(s) about.

All in all I'm really looking forward to seeing how the Ruby Sunday Saga plays out. What makes her so special? Clearly they're making her out to be more than an ordinary young woman. I'm expecting the finale of Season 1 to explain that (while also writing her away from being a regular as she supposedly wasn't around for Season 2 filming).

Yeah I would love that and I wonder if we do get multiple Villains coming for the 15th's Doctor Neck could he need aid from the 14th? Also I forgot to talk about how they brought up the Doctor's Granddaughter I really hope they bring that back into the Story if not this Season by the end of the run for Ncuti.

What survives of us is love. The Devil Chord was my favorite Episode going into the Season but Boom blew that away with ease. The Doctor and Ruby are on a War Torn Planet where they don't know what is going on and are put into high stakes from the get go. Yes we knew the Doctor would be fine but we didn't know what would happen to Ruby as well as the torment The Doctor was going through through Ncuti being on that Landmine. Once again I'm digging the vulnerability of the Doctor the past 2 Episodes especially when he doesn't know what is going on and he has to think the hardest he can what to do it's great to watch. It's pretty funny these Soldiers are literally fighting their own Hardware the Doctor puts it and their faith blinded them to the highest of degrees like Mundy and John.

The same Mundy right that is going to be the Companion for the Doctor in Season 2 right? I mean it's pretty obvious to me either Mundy stole the Doctor's set of Keys or she finds them on that Planet is gets on it in the future. Why would they show us the Doctor going through his Pockets if that doesn't come to play late in the Season to set up her run with the Doctor. Did anyone by the way get choked up when the Doctor said my Favorite Food is Fish Sticks and Custard

If I had to give a negative it was Splice. Girl I get it to a degree what was they trying to do with that but all she was doing was where is my Daddy and oh let's talk about this and that with my Dad. Looking at Family Photos when the Doctor is about to be blown up and kill all of you

Next Week Ruby is put into a situation where she needs to get herself out of a Pickle in 73 Yards

holy shit that episode was top tier stuff.

I didn't have an issue with the kid. I don't know how old she was but given that she was seemingly born into living in a war torn planet it's conceivable that she can hold her composure through such a difficult situation like her father dying. Especially since the population has such incredibly strong faith.


Also. Steven Moffat welcome the fuck back. What a well written episode.

If you guys have been paying attention the lady who was the ambulance has been in about 5 episodes so far. Not sure what is in store for her or what her significance is as she keeps showing up.

Yeah Susan Twist and up to yesterday's Episode the Doctor didn't recognize her but surely he will hopefully and wonder I've seen this lady a few times now what's up. Davies loves putting in those Bread Crumbs for later and next Week clearly is a Tribute to the It Follows film

The thought of a person who is scarier and more dangerous than Maestro and the Toymaker is a great feeling to have. Davies did say we would see a couple of more Gods in a Interview he did leading into the Season.

I'll hold off on my thoughts on Dot and Bubble but Davies talked about last Week him wanting to create this Story during Matt Smith's run and not being able to achieve it because of the Time period of what you could do in front and behind the Camera. Please tell me everyone saw 73 Yards?

Ruby was put into a Curse because of the Doctor stepping and breaking a Fairy Circle. Knowing my Folklore/Witchcraft type of stuff through my Mom I knew they done fucked up and I wondered why did Ruby get cursed when the Doctor broke the Circle? Anyways this Episode was amazing to watch as the 73 Yards lady watched from a distance and Ruby not able to understand what she was saying. Truly scary and once you see the Doctor Who Unleashed Episode on it you find out the Actress was saying the nicest things

The way it was directed and filmed to where every Moment Ruby was around you saw the lady there. The shot of the 73 Yards lady when Ruby was on the Train was the best shot of the whole Episode I thought. It left me asking what did the lady say to Ruby's Mom of all people to get her to leave her Daughter and never be in her life again? I remember Ruby saying when she was very old that her Mom died and no one called her and broke me apart inside after hearing that. I'm like where is the Doctor where is he during this chaos? Are we going to get a Episode of where the Doctor was during that time or what?

Ruby had to make sure the possible Nuclear War to come never happens and it only took 20 plus Years for Ruby to figure it out. If theirs a nitpick I have is the Makeup job because Ruby at 40s and you compare Amy in the same age group from the Girl who waited Episode they could of done way better with that. Ruby never had a life in the early days worrying about the 73 Yards lady then she said to herself I'm just going to deal with this and try to live the best life I can. I thought the lady could be a older Ruby when they couldn't get a good look of her but still the Episode really did a great job with this.
