LOL, Booty is right, I am a stickler. Unfortunately this is one of those times where I wished I'd been wrong, but what can you do?

Anyhow, I've decided to support Pittsburgh once the Leafs are out of it since I like Iginla so much. Now I just have to hope that they don't meet the Pens in the playoffs.

I'd rather stick a fork through my tongue.

Well with the playoffs right around the corner who is your pick to take it all.

Chicago Blackhawks who had the best season in the league?
Pittsburgh Penguins who added some grit along with their star power?
Boston Bruins can Charo take them to promised land
LA kings can they achieve the repeat.

What are your thoughts.

Go Leafs Go!!! Well, they probably won't win, but I'll be going to at least one of their playoff games so I'm happy.

Pretty sure we can just pencil Chicago out of contention since winning the President's Trophy almost assures you won't win the Cup. Pittsburgh looks like the best in the East right now, but if Washington maintains the torrid pace they've been setting they could be very dangerous. Anaheim is a dark horse pick for the West, but really any of those teams could make the finals.

Yeah you are right.

Anaheim or LA are my pick out of the west and I can't puck against my pens especially with Crosby seemingly on the verge of return

Alright with the playoff into full swing are there any surprises that you have seen so far?

Who is your pick to win Lord Stanley's Cup?

Honestly i think the Pens are playing poorly bad chemistry right now. The Blackhawks look to run away with the whole thing right now unless someone can beat them up. The Bruins are looking good. I think the whole thing is still up in the air.

One surprise so far is how the Islanders have taken it to the Pens, I was sure that would be a quick series. I wish I could say Vancouver being swept is a surprise, but I kind of expected them to fail again. I was at the Leafs game on Monday but they lost and it looks like Boston will close things out tomorrow so no more live playoff hockey for me. :(

I'm going to stick with Anaheim to win the whole thing, provided they get by Detroit. I've watched all five of their games and they've been great, best series of this round for sure (unless you're a Sharks fan of course).

I'm an Ontario boy, so quite frankly the fact that the leafs are still in the playoffs is a big "Yahoo" for me.

I'll betcha any money we end up tying up the series than losing the final game.

So the Pens get out of the first round for the first time in three years. Waiting on some of the series to end. I thought they were going to lose this game, but they managed to get out of it and prepare for a team that is a little slower than who they just played an hopefully they now all can get on the same page.

Still hoping for a Blackhawks vs Pens Stanley cup but have a feeling that this will not come to pass.

Pens were pretty lucky that Vokoun isn't a solid goaltender. If the Isles can somehow sign one for next year, they're going to be a serious force.

Fingers crossed for a Leafs win tomorrow night.

With game 7 between the Bruins and the Leafs rapidly approaching, I thought I'd leave this here and say Go Leafs Go...

Nope, it's in Boston, but I'll be watching it at the bar with some local yahoo's so it should be good times.
