Well they are. I forgot Crimson existed until I saw him job to Joseph Parks last week (like what?)

Are they RVD's contract expired and Jarrett hasn't been mentioned in 2 years.

There's many to choose from (and most are bigger names today than Nash and Steiner).
Hardy, Angle, AJ, Samoa Joe, Storm, Roode, Aries, Abyss, Chavo, Sabin, Magnus, Rampage, EY, Jarrett.
Possible returns could include RVD, Raven (first guy to win world title at WWE, WCW, ECW & TNA, Foley being the other), Christian (on the slight chance he's actually been out of contract for the last 90 days), Rhino, Matt Hardy or Jay Lethal - not that any of these are likely
Also, other people available such as MVP.

None of these guys being thrown around are even main eventers.

AJ Styles hasn't been in a worse position (name value wise) for a long ass time. I know he's recently been getting pushed but I don't think anyone really cares about the guy anymore.

Hogan, Sting, Hardy, Angle and Jarrett are the only real names they have, and they are all semi-crippled. TNA's factions have always been laughably bad though. "They". lmao.

They are maineventers in TNA. When you consider some of these names against maineventers from WWE or from the past then yes of course they are a level below but in TNA's world they have been World champions and have mainevented PPVs so they fit the criteria. That being said it hasn't been confirmed yet that this new MEM even requires members that have been in the mainevent so they may just add some midcarders to the group instead.

It only took one week for TNA to ruin this new group. Sting said that he was reforming this group because no-one on the TNA roster helped him when Aces & Eights attacked him the week before. So the first guy he picks is Kurt Angle, a guy that didn't help him when he was being attacked and a guy that threw him out of the first incarnation of the group. Such a bad decision but why should I have expected anything else from TNA.

The new Main Event Mafia is looking a lot like the old Main Event Mafia. It's safe to say Booker and Nash won't be jumping ship, so who gets the last two spots?

I'm guessing AJ and Magnus. Makes no sense, but neither does the first two guys

AJ is a lone wolf so i doubt that's gonna happen and I doubt Scotty Stiener is coming back so maybe Jeff Jarrett 8D doubt it or GOLDBERG.

I don't think TNA are gonna use it's own guys except for JOE so i'm just thinking of washed up WCW and WWE guys at this point.

Kurt Angle sure was lackluster and already makes the stable look stupid. Honestly if you followed TNA over the last few months it makes no sense. Didn't Angle just turn his back to fending off A&Es? No idea how this any different then a few months back anyways. Kurt & Sting were both fighting them. UGH, it's like now that we are called the Main Event Mafia again we have a CHANCE. Sting looked for his FAMILY... Kurt threw him out of the original MEM. Nice sibling rivarly TNA. This is a joke and unless they actually get a name like Goldberg to appear this group should have never been brought back. TNA should have left the MEM name alone.

So from now on I'm calling this stable Sting & his Little Friends.

Don't know why this company are so hellbent on having as many factions as they possibly can when they all absolutely suck. Couldn't care less if Angle or Sting is in this shitty reincarnation of something that was awful in the first place, because come October/September it'll be gone anyway.

Meh. My picks though would be

AJ, The loner

Matt Morgan, Gets Promised a Title Shot or Whatever

Samoa Joe and Angle as Both are previous members

Magnus, I like him So why not?.

Jeff Jarrett, The Founder Returns defending his company

Abyss, can be his way of fully coming back.

Magnus & Rampage

I can understand Rampage for sure, but I just don't like the Magnus inclusion as it feels too forced as a part of this monster push he's getting.
