The problem hasn't been about liking the group though, it's more about it going against everything Sting outlined in his criteria.
Rampage is jusst name value.
He isn't wrestling any matches, he said he isn't going to wrestle until his MMA career is over, the most you'll get is a Tank Abbot WCW type treatment where he is just going to bodyslam and punvh people in the face and leave. Pacman Jones style.
What a gong show. Aces n 8s is going on a year and some change without anyone giving a fuck about it. I'm all for long building angles with characters arcs and decent storylines, but this isn't it. And when it is obvoiusly it ins't clicking, you should just abort. Finish it all on an Impact and go from there, the BFG sereis is the perfect out for this as it would be a good distraction from the kiboshing of Aces n 8s and just keep Impact in that BFG holding pattern until you can come up with some other after. Just let the BFG guys wrestle every Impact, have a few title programs between, build that shit up and you got atleast whatever title matches at BFG for people to give a shit about and the BTFG series finale. It isn't that hard;
