Sheldon Creed on winning the Final 12:
"Man, I’m feeling great! This truck was on rails today. Dirt racing is a whole different challenge, but we’ve had strong pace all weekend, and getting this pole is a big confidence boost. I knew the track would change lap after lap, so it was about staying aggressive while keeping control. It’s going to be a wild 250 laps, but we’ve got the speed to go out and get it done."

Ben Rhodes (#99, ThorSport Racing) – P2:
"Super close! I thought we had it there for a second, but Creed just found that little extra. Front row is a great place to start, and we’ve got a strong ThorSport truck. I think we’ll be a factor in the long run."

Juice Millar (#53, Team Penske) – P3:
"Man, dirt is fun! Third is a solid place to start, and I feel like we’re learning fast. I’ve got a great crew, and if we can stay out of trouble early, we’ll be right there at the end."

Stewart Friesen (#52, Halmar Friesen Racing) – P4:
"We wanted pole, but we’re in a good spot. This is my kind of track, and I know how to race through the field if needed. 250 laps, plenty of time to get to work."

Kevin Magnussen (#8, Kyle Busch Motorsports) – P5:
"I’ll admit, I didn’t expect to qualify this well! Dirt racing is a new challenge for me, but I’m loving it. We’ve got a strong truck, and I’m excited to see how this plays out."

Grant Enfinger (#71, Team Red Bull) – P6:

"We’re right where we need to be. This Red Bull truck has been fast, and if we can keep the nose clean and make the right moves, we’ll be in contention by the end of the night."

Blaze Tries To Burn The Barn Down At Bristol

Brandon Blaze had a frustrating qualifying session at Bristol Dirt, struggling to find grip and ultimately placing 31st on the starting grid. The Niece Motorsports driver was visibly frustrated after the session and didn’t hold back in his post-qualifying comments.

Brandon Blaze on Dirt Racing:
"Look, I’m just gonna say it—this isn’t real racing. This is just something hillbillies do in their backyard. Mud isn’t racing, and having a track like this on the schedule is ridiculous. I don’t know why we’re out here sliding around like a bunch of kids in a sandbox."

His strong words are sure to stir controversy, especially with dirt racing specialists like Stewart Friesen and Sheldon Creed excelling in qualifying. Blaze, who has been known for his aggressive opinions, didn’t hold back when asked if he expected to improve during the race.

Blaze on His Race Expectations:
"I mean, I guess we’ll try to make something of it, but when you start back in the junk, it’s just about avoiding wrecks and hoping for some luck. I’ll just be happy when we get back to real racetracks."

While Blaze is fuming, other drivers are embracing the dirt challenge. Can he overcome his struggles, or will his frustrations continue into race day?

Drivers Respond to Blaze’s Incendiary Comments on Dirt Racing
Brandon Blaze’s harsh critique of dirt racing—calling it “something hillbillies do”—did not go unnoticed in the garage. Several drivers fired back at his comments, defending the discipline and the challenge that Bristol Dirt presents.

Sheldon Creed (#2 - GMS Racing, Pole Winner)
“I think Brandon just doesn’t like what he’s not good at. Dirt racing is real racing. You gotta have skill, car control, and patience. I grew up racing on dirt, and I don’t feel like a ‘hillbilly.’ If he wants to sit at the back and complain, that’s on him. The rest of us will be putting on a show.”

Stewart Friesen (#52 - Halmar Friesen Racing, Dirt Track Specialist)
“Hillbillies, huh? Guess he should tell that to guys like Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell, and all the legends who cut their teeth on dirt. If you can’t hang with us, just say that.”

Germain Loochhausen (#21 - Hattori Racing, Top 5 Qualifier)
“This is my first real shot at dirt racing, and I think it's fantastic. It takes a whole different skill set. If Blaze doesn’t like it, that’s his problem, but the fans love it, and it belongs on the schedule.”

Tommy Bedlam (#77 - GMS Racing, Qualified 4th)
“Brandon loves to run his mouth, but dirt racing is about skill and discipline. If he wants to whine about it, maybe he should go run a simulator until he figures it out.”

Bobby Rey (#00 - Front Row Motorsports, Qualified 8th)
“Dirt racing ain’t easy, and Brandon’s just mad he got whooped. Simple as that.”

Tanner Gray (#02 - Young’s Motorsports, Former Dirt Racer)
“There’s a reason we’re here. Dirt is part of NASCAR’s history. If you don’t like it, tough luck.”

Ryan Reynolds Takes a Shot at Brandon Blaze’s Attitude
Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds didn’t hold back when addressing Brandon Blaze’s controversial comments about dirt racing—and his overall attitude—especially given Blaze’s ongoing relationship with Blake Lively. Reynolds, known for his witty humor, took to social media to fire off a sharp-tongued response.

@VancityReynolds:
"Dirt racing takes skill, patience, and respect—three things Brandon Blaze wouldn’t recognize if they hit him at 200 mph. But hey, at least he's consistent at being in the mud… both on and off the track. #StayClassyBrandon"

The dig instantly went viral, with fans and fellow drivers piling on. Some called it "the best burn of the season," while others speculated whether Reynolds’ frustration is fueled by Blaze’s relationship with his wife, Blake Lively.

Fan Reactions:
“Ryan Reynolds just roasted Blaze harder than his engine at Talladega last year.”
“Brandon Blaze getting wrecked by Ryan Reynolds is not on my 2021 bingo card, but I’m here for it.”
“Dirt racing isn’t the problem. Brandon is.”

So far, Blaze has not responded publicly—but with tensions rising on and off the track, this feud could heat up even more before Bristol’s green flag drops.

Tommy Bedlam’s Victory Lane Interview – Bristol Dirt
After an impressive victory at Bristol Dirt, Tommy Bedlam celebrated in Victory Lane, touching on a variety of topics in a lively post-race interview.

Becoming the Seventh Winner in Seven Races
"Man, this season has been crazy. Seven races, seven different winners—that just shows how stacked this field is. Every week, it feels like a different guy steps up, and today, it was my turn. We had a great truck, the dirt was perfect for us, and we got it done. Hopefully, I’m not the last new winner this year either. This series is wide open, and that’s what makes it exciting."

Calling Out Brandon Blaze – Again
"Look, I don’t want to waste too much breath on Brandon Blaze, but let’s be real—he’s still the biggest jabroni in the Truck Series. He spent the whole weekend crying about dirt racing, and then what happened? He got lapped. Twice. Maybe if he spent more time driving and less time talking, he’d actually be competitive."

Motivation to Get More Wins
"Winning here just makes me hungrier for more. I don’t want to be a one-and-done guy this season. This was a statement win, but I want to back it up with another one and another one after that. We’ve got momentum now, and I plan on keeping my foot on the gas."

Eyeing Xfinity Next Year But Staying Involved in Trucks
"I won’t lie—racing in the Xfinity Series next year would be a dream come true. That’s the goal, and I know my guys are working hard to make it happen. But I love this Truck Series, man. If I move up, I’d still want to be involved, maybe as a team owner or helping younger drivers get their shot. This series made me who I am, and I wouldn’t want to just walk away from it completely."

Bedlam’s fiery and confident interview proved once again why he’s one of the most entertaining personalities in the Truck Series—and now, a legitimate championship contender.

Bobby Rey Reflects on Best Race of the Season at Bristol Dirt
After securing a strong runner-up finish at Bristol Dirt, Bobby Rey was full of optimism about his performance and the future of the #00 Front Row Motorsports truck.

"Man, this was by far the best race we’ve had all season. The truck was hooked up, I felt comfortable in the dirt, and we were in the mix all night. Coming home P2 feels really good, especially knowing how much work this team puts in every week."

Rey acknowledged that consistency has been the missing piece so far in 2021 and expressed his determination to keep building on this momentum.

"I know we’ve had some ups and downs this season, and that’s on me just as much as anything. But nights like this show that we belong up front. My goal moving forward is to bring this kind of speed every single week and pay back this team for sticking with me. They’ve had faith in me, and I want to prove they made the right call."

Rey’s runner-up finish at Bristol Dirt marks a turning point in his season, and if he can build on this momentum, the #00 could quickly become a regular threat at the front of the field.

Gene Haas Teases Big Money Offer for Truck Series Star in International Series
As the NASCAR International Series continues to take shape, Gene Haas has made it clear that Haas Racing intends to be a major player in its inaugural season. While confirming his team’s entry into the series, Haas revealed that he is actively looking at talent from the Truck Series to fill one of his seats—and he’s ready to pay big money for the right driver.

"We’re not just here to participate—we’re here to win. We’re looking at some of the best talent in the Truck Series right now, and I can say with confidence that one of them is going to get a very competitive offer to come race for us internationally," Haas stated.

While he didn’t name names, speculation has already begun about who Haas might target. With the Truck Series loaded with talent, potential candidates could include Sheldon Creed, Tommy Bedlam, Logan Slayer, Juice Millar, or even Ben Rhodes, who has already shown interest in the International Series.

Haas also addressed concerns from teams like Penske, who have criticized the truck limit rule as a means of forcing driver movement.

"Look, some people don’t like change, but this series is going to be a huge opportunity for drivers and teams alike. We’re offering a legitimate alternative path, and trust me, the guys who take the leap will be well taken care of."

With big money on the table, it’s now a waiting game to see which Truck Series star will take the deal and make the jump to the International Series.

AM Racing Announces Entry into NASCAR International Series; Will Exit Truck Series
AM Racing has officially announced its entry into the NASCAR International Series, signaling a major shift in their focus for the future. The team confirmed that they are in discussions with both BMW and Audi as potential engine manufacturers for their international campaign.

This decision comes with consequences, as AM Racing has also revealed that they will be exiting the NASCAR Truck Series after the 2021 season. This move means Timothy Peters (#25) and Austin Wayne Self (#22) may be without Truck Series rides next season unless they can secure opportunities elsewhere.

Uncertain Futures for Peters & Self
AM Racing has not yet guaranteed that either driver will be part of their International Series lineup, stating that performance will play a role in those decisions. A team representative made the following comments:

"We’re committed to building a competitive International Series program, and that means making some tough choices. Timothy [Peters] and Austin Wayne [Self] are part of our team now, but if they don’t improve their results, we will have to look at other options moving forward."

Both Peters and Self have struggled to deliver strong finishes in the Truck Series this season, which has put their futures with the team in jeopardy.

BMW or Audi? AM Racing’s Manufacturer Debate
AM Racing is currently weighing two major manufacturers—BMW and Audi—for their International Series entry. Both German automakers have expressed interest in supporting teams in the new division, making this decision a critical one for AM Racing’s long-term future.

"We’re carefully evaluating both brands and what they can bring to the table. It’s about performance, reliability, and long-term potential," the team’s spokesperson added.

What’s Next for AM Racing?
With the Truck Series exit confirmed, AM Racing is now fully focused on establishing themselves in the International Series. Their choice of manufacturer and driver lineup will likely be finalized in the coming months.

For Timothy Peters and Austin Wayne Self, the pressure is on to deliver stronger results—or risk being left behind in the team’s transition.

Carlin Motorsports Expresses Interest in Arthur D'Tea for Formula 3
Carlin Motorsports, one of the most respected teams in junior open-wheel racing, has publicly name-dropped Arthur D’Tea as a driver they are considering for a Formula 3 seat in 2022. This would mark a major shift for the current ThorSport Racing driver, who has built his reputation in stock car racing.

Carlin’s team principal hinted at the move, stating:
"Arthur is a name that’s come up in our discussions for next season. He’s shown great adaptability in NASCAR, and we believe that kind of raw talent can translate well to open-wheel racing. If he’s interested, we’d love to have a serious conversation."

What makes the offer even more intriguing is the sponsorship package that could come with it. Carlin is reportedly in talks with two major teams—rumored to be either McLaren, Red Bull, or Mercedes—to include additional backing if D’Tea accepts the offer. This would mean not only a seat in Formula 3 but also potential long-term opportunities in European racing.

D’Tea’s Next Move: NASCAR or Open-Wheel?
Arthur D’Tea has not commented publicly on the offer yet, but moving to Formula 3 would put him on a very different career trajectory—one that could eventually lead to Formula 2 and even Formula 1.

The decision won’t be an easy one, as D’Tea is still focused on his NASCAR career. However, with more drivers experimenting with crossover opportunities, this could be an exciting turning point in his racing future.

Tommy Bedlam: "I grew up 3-4 hours from here in Kentucky. For years, me and my dad would load up twice a year and come to Bristol. I was 12 years old, sitting up there in the Waltrip Grandstands, and I told him, 'I'm gonna get to victory lane here one day.' HOLY SHIT! WE DID IT DAD! I JUST WON AT BRISTOL MOTOR SPEEDWAY!"

"Gotta thank the team at GMS Racing. This season has been weird. We qualified like shit but finished well. Then we qualified kinda OK, but just couldn't get the speed. I was getting so pissed off there in stage 2 when the thing got so tight it wouldn't turn, but Hank and the boys got the Jack Daniels Chevrolet running right for stage 3. Bobby Rey, helluva job out there tonight, man. We raced each other hard, we beat and banged; it's short track racing, but we kept it clean. God, winning at this track and to do it on dirt? This is a dream. We're gonna go party tonight. Taylor, I know you're on tour. If I don't answer when you call, I may be passed out in the hauler somewhere. Love you, baby!"

Kansas Speedway: Part Three

Tommy Bedlam: "This is Just the Beginning" – Victory Lane Interview After Kansas Win

After securing back-to-back wins at Kansas Speedway in the "Wizard of Oz 200," Tommy Bedlam took a moment to soak in the victory. Here's a more detailed look into his thoughts:

Reporter: "Tommy, two wins in two races. What does this mean to you, and how are you feeling after this race?"

Tommy Bedlam: "Man, this feels amazing. Kansas has always been a great track for me, and to come out here and win back-to-back races—just incredible. The guys at GMS Racing have been working their butts off, and today it really paid off. We knew it wasn’t going to be easy, especially with guys like Sheldon Creed and Germain Loochhausen pushing hard in the final laps, but I just kept my head in the game, focused on hitting my marks, and making sure I didn’t make any mistakes in those closing laps."

Reporter: "You held off some serious competition today. That last restart was intense with Sheldon Creed right on your tail. How did you manage to hold him off?"

Tommy Bedlam: "Sheldon’s one of the best, and I knew he wasn’t gonna give up without a fight. On that last restart, I just had to make sure I got a good launch and didn’t get too tight through the corners. I saw his truck in my mirror, and honestly, it was a little nerve-wracking knowing he was right there. But, we had the speed all day, and I just trusted the truck. We worked so hard on it, and I knew if I kept my line, it would be hard to pass."

Reporter: "You mentioned GMS Racing; talk a little about your team and the effort they've put into giving you a truck that can win. How important is it to you to have this kind of support?"

Tommy Bedlam: "It’s everything. These guys work non-stop, and you can see the results on the track. From the crew to the engineers, every single person has been giving 110%. After the first win last week, we knew we had something special, but to back it up here—it really shows the commitment and talent at GMS. I couldn’t ask for a better team behind me. They give me what I need to be successful, and together, we’re making this dream a reality."

Reporter: "We’re halfway through the season now, and you’re looking like a serious championship contender. What’s your mindset moving forward? What are your goals?"

Tommy Bedlam: "Well, we’re definitely in a good spot right now, but I’m not taking anything for granted. There’s a long way to go, and every race is a new challenge. My goal is simple: keep winning, stay consistent, and make it to the end of the season strong. The championship is definitely on my radar, but I’m taking it race by race. I want to enjoy every victory and keep pushing until we get that title."

Reporter: "And finally, with the season still unfolding, what’s the next track you’re excited about?"

Tommy Bedlam: "I’m excited for all of them, honestly! But if I had to pick, Darlington is one that stands out. It’s a track that demands respect, and I feel like it’s one that really tests you as a driver. But I know this team can give me the truck to challenge anywhere. We’re on a roll, and I want to keep that momentum going all the way to the playoffs."

Reporter: "Congratulations again, Tommy. Two wins in a row—this is only the beginning for you!"

Tommy Bedlam: "Thanks! I’m just getting started. Watch out for us—we’re coming for more!"

With his second straight win and his confidence through the roof, Tommy Bedlam is now a driver to watch. The momentum is undeniable, and his statement after the race makes it clear: he’s not slowing down anytime soon!

Post-Race Interview With German Germain
Germain Loochhausen had an impressive performance in the race, securing his best finish of the Truck Series season with a solid 3rd place result. The Hattori Racing driver made the most of his opportunity, navigating through a tough field of competitors to earn a podium spot.

Reporter: "Germain, congratulations on your best finish of the season! A solid third place finish here today, how does it feel?"

Germain Loochhausen: "Thank you! It feels fantastic. Honestly, it’s been a challenging season, and I’m just so happy to finally see some results come through. My team has been working so hard, and it’s amazing to see all that effort pay off today. I’ve been learning a lot as I go, and today was one of those races where everything just clicked. We had a good strategy, the truck was on point, and I could really push it when it counted."

Reporter: "You looked very consistent throughout the race, especially in the final stages. Was there a specific moment when you knew a top-three finish was within reach?"

Germain Loochhausen: "Definitely. As the race went on, I could tell that the truck was handling better and better. When we got to the final stage, I was just focused on maintaining my position and picking up spots where I could. I kept my head down, didn’t take unnecessary risks, and just trusted in the truck. When I saw I was up there with the leaders, I thought, ‘This is it—just keep it together.’ It’s moments like these that make all the hard work worth it."

Reporter: "After such a great result, what are your thoughts on the rest of the season? Can we expect more strong finishes from you?"

Germain Loochhausen: "I hope so! This finish really gives me and my team the motivation to keep pushing. We know we have the pace, we know we have the strategy, and now it’s about staying consistent and continuing to build on this result. This is a big confidence boost for me personally, and for Hattori Racing. We’ve got a lot of races left, and I’m hungry for more."

Reporter: "What’s next for you and the team as we head to the upcoming races?"

Germain Loochhausen: "Next up is just focusing on staying on track, improving where we can, and trying to keep up this momentum. We’ve had a great week of preparation, and I’m feeling really good about the next few races. If we keep working hard, I’m sure we can be a threat to keep getting these top finishes."

Reporter: "It’s clear that you’re aiming for even bigger things. Congrats again on a career-best finish, Germain!"

Germain Loochhausen: "Thank you! I’m really proud of what we’ve accomplished today, and I can’t wait to get back out there and do it again!"

Germain’s 3rd place finish marks a high point in his Truck Series journey, showcasing both his potential and the continued growth he’s making as a driver. With this strong result, he is clearly becoming more comfortable behind the wheel, and fans and teammates alike are eager to see how he continues to develop in the upcoming races.

Blaze's Volcanic Eruption

Reporter: "Brandon, you're currently outside the top twenty in the overall standings, and while you do have a win earlier in the season, there are questions about whether you’ll actually make the playoffs. With the season winding down, how do you feel about your chances?"

Brandon Blaze: "Are you seriously asking me that? It’s beyond frustrating to be asked this question over and over again. I’ve got a win this season, and you’re still questioning whether I’m playoff material? Don’t get me wrong, I know I haven’t been where I want to be in the standings, but who are you to say I won’t make the playoffs? I’m in control of my own destiny, and I’m not gonna let some stupid points tally decide my future. I’ll be in the playoffs, whether you think I will or not."

Reporter: "But with the way the points are stacking up, there’s a real concern that even a win won’t be enough to guarantee you a playoff spot. Do you think you’ve been able to overcome the struggles you've had in recent races?"

Brandon Blaze: "I don’t need anyone reminding me of where I stand. I've had bad luck, yes, and maybe things haven’t gone my way in some races, but that doesn’t mean I’m done. You think I’m just going to roll over because of a couple of bad races? Hell no. I’ve won before, and I’ll win again. The points can be fixed in one race; everything can change with one win. I don’t need to hear it from you or anyone else. My ability to race speaks for itself, and it’s just a matter of time before I prove everyone wrong."

Reporter: "You’re still sitting behind several drivers in the standings, many of whom have been more consistent. Do you feel like your struggles in qualifying and race results are holding you back from truly competing at the top?"

Brandon Blaze: "You know what? Consistency doesn’t mean a damn thing if you don’t have the talent to back it up! It’s easy for someone to be ‘consistent’ if they’re just riding around in the top fifteen and avoiding the tough battles. But me? I go for it every time. You can sit there and talk about consistency all you want, but I’m the one who’s taking risks and making big moves. The reality is, when I show up, I bring it, and I’ll keep bringing it until I’m in the damn playoffs."

Reporter: "How do you plan on turning things around with just a handful of races left in the regular season?"

Brandon Blaze: "How do I plan on turning it around? By racing better. By not letting this nonsense—these stupid questions—distract me. I know what I’m capable of, and it’s not about what anyone else thinks. I don’t need your approval. I’ve been in the game long enough to know what needs to be done, and trust me, I’ll get it done. People who doubt me will be sorry when I’m in the playoffs. So, keep asking your questions, but I’m not worried about anyone but myself. Watch me."

Reporter: "Brandon, you’re clearly upset, but what would you say to those who are questioning your ability to qualify for the playoffs?"

Brandon Blaze: "I’d say shut up and watch. I’m not here to explain myself to anyone. I’m gonna prove them all wrong. Playoffs? Yeah, I’m getting there, and there’s nothing anyone can say to stop me."

Brandon Blaze’s frustration is clear, and his confidence is unshaken. While his results may not have been consistent, it’s clear he’s not backing down from the challenge ahead. With the playoffs still in sight, Blaze is determined to fight for his spot, regardless of what critics or reporters think.

Gene Haas' Life-Changing Offer to Tommy Bedlam, Logan Slayer, and Ben Rhodes

In a move that is sending shockwaves through the motorsport world, Gene Haas, owner of Haas Racing, has extended an incredibly lucrative offer to three of the Truck Series’ brightest stars: Tommy Bedlam, Logan Slayer, and Ben Rhodes. Each of the drivers has been offered a $450,000 per year contract to race in the prestigious International Series, a deal that is considered a career-defining opportunity for all three men, but only of them can accept the offer.

The announcement of Gene Haas offering Tommy Bedlam, Logan Slayer, and Ben Rhodes a $450,000 per year contract to race in the prestigious International Series has sent shockwaves through the NASCAR world. The offer, which is seen as a life-changing opportunity for all three drivers, has many wondering about the potential impact on their careers and the series as a whole.

As of now, no official responses have been made by the drivers, but NASCAR analysts and commentators are already discussing what this means for the future of these drivers and the potential effect it could have on their careers.

NASCAR Analysts Weigh In

Daryl Waltrip, NASCAR Legend and Analyst:
"This is huge, folks. The International Series has become a focal point for the best of the best in racing, and for a team owner like Gene Haas to extend an offer to these three drivers shows just how much he believes in them. We’ve seen Tommy Bedlam’s rise to prominence, Logan Slayer’s impressive performances, and Ben Rhodes’ consistency. All three of them have the talent to compete at the highest level, and this offer is something that can change their lives. I’m not surprised by Haas’ interest, but I’m curious who will actually take the plunge and leave the comforts of NASCAR. It’s a big decision, and for some of these drivers, it could be a once-in-a-lifetime chance."

Brad Daugherty, NASCAR Analyst and Team Owner:
"We’re talking about an offer worth half a million dollars a year to race at the international level. That’s not just a payday, but an opportunity to grow and develop as a driver in a whole new arena. The International Series will give them exposure globally, and the racing will be some of the most competitive you can find. If I were one of them, I’d take a long hard look at it. That being said, racing in the NASCAR Truck Series is a whole different animal. It’s where they’re established, and it’ll be tough to leave that behind. But at the end of the day, you’ve got to do what’s best for your career and your future."

Chad Knaus, Former Crew Chief and Analyst:
"This is a major decision for these guys. The money is absolutely life-changing, no question about that. But it’s not just about the money, it’s about the opportunities the International Series can give them. There’s global exposure, new experiences, and more chances to show off your skills on the world stage. However, leaving NASCAR, especially when you’re already building a name for yourself, is a big leap. I can’t wait to see how they approach this offer, because it will define the next steps in their careers. Tommy Bedlam, Logan Slayer, and Ben Rhodes, all talented drivers in their own right, now have to think about the future."

The Big Question: Who Will Actually Accept the Offer?

While it remains unclear, one driver is expected to accept Gene Haas’ offer to race in the International Series. Tommy Bedlam appears to be the most likely candidate, with his clear ambition to compete at the highest level and a well-established track record of success. With the financial stability and the career-defining potential of the International Series, Bedlam may be poised to make the leap.

For Logan Slayer and Ben Rhodes, though, the decision is far more difficult. Both drivers are firmly established in the Truck Series and are looking to solidify their place in the competitive landscape. While the International Series could provide a thrilling next chapter, it remains to be seen whether they’re ready to take that step just yet.

In any case, this is a story worth following, as it could change the trajectory of all three drivers' careers, especially if they take Haas’ generous offer and embark on the next phase of their racing journeys in the Nascar International Series.

Joe Gibbs Racing has officially confirmed its entry into the International Series, with the team announcing plans to field two cars in the prestigious series. The team will continue its long-standing partnership with Toyota, ensuring the brand remains a key player in the global racing scene. This move is seen as a major step for JGR as they expand their reach beyond NASCAR's traditional circuits.

Driver Signings:
- Joe Berry, a highly regarded driver from the Xfinity Series, has signed with Joe Gibbs Racing for a seat in the International Series. Known for his impressive skillset and consistent performances, Berry’s signing is a big boost to the team's ambitions.

- Tanner Gray, currently driving in the Truck Series for Young’s Motorsports, has also joined JGR for the International Series. Gray, who is currently ranked 12th in the overall Truck Series standings, will be transitioning from Young’s Motorsports at the conclusion of the Truck Series season. With this announcement, Tanner Gray will depart Young’s Motorsports at the end of the 2021 Truck Series season. Gray has shown promise throughout his career, and while he has been a solid performer for Young’s Motorsports, this new opportunity with Joe Gibbs Racing offers a chance to compete at a higher level in the International Series.

Joe Gibbs Racing’s International Series Ambitions:
This marks a significant expansion for Joe Gibbs Racing, which has traditionally been a powerhouse in NASCAR’s Cup, Xfinity, and Truck Series. The team’s entrance into the International Series further solidifies their vision of growing their presence on the world stage and competing at the highest levels in motorsport globally. With Joe Berry and Tanner Gray on board, the team has a promising duo that could contend for victories right out of the gate.

The Impact on the International Series:
JGR’s entry into the International Series is expected to raise the level of competition and draw more attention to the series as a whole. With Toyota's continued involvement, the global appeal of the International Series will likely see an uptick, especially with the backing of a top-tier team like Joe Gibbs Racing.

What’s Next for Tanner Gray and Young's Motorsports:
As Tanner Gray prepares to make the leap to the International Series, Young’s Motorsports will be left with a void in their lineup. While Gray’s departure could impact their plans for the remainder of the Truck Series season, Young’s Motorsports will need to quickly identify a replacement driver to fill the void. This could lead to new faces in the Truck Series next season as teams look to build competitive rosters.

As Tanner Gray moves on to the International Series with Joe Gibbs Racing, his departure marks the end of an era at Young’s Motorsports. Fans and analysts alike will be watching closely to see how he adjusts to the new series and how Young’s Motorsports rebuilds for the future.

Young%27s_Motorsports.jpeg

Young’s Motorsports has officially announced that they will scale back operations for the 2022 season, confirming that they will only run a single truck next year. This decision comes as part of their strategy to meet the 26 truck limit set for the next season, a move that is in response to the increasing competition and a tightening of resources.

Reduced Team Size:
Young’s Motorsports will downsize, running only one truck in the 2022 season. This marks a significant change for the team, which has typically fielded multiple entries in the past, including notable drivers such as Tanner Gray.

Tanner Gray's Departure:
As previously announced, Tanner Gray will be departing Young’s Motorsports at the end of the 2021 Truck Series season to join Joe Gibbs Racing in the International Series. With Gray's exit, the team will lose one of their most competitive drivers. This move, combined with the downsizing of their operations, signals a shift in strategy for the team.

Meeting the 26 Truck Limit:
The Truck Series has implemented a 26 truck limit for next season, and Young’s Motorsports is the third team to announce a departure or reduction in their lineup as part of this adjustment. The limit will force several teams to consolidate or eliminate one of their entries, making it a more competitive and tighter field for the upcoming season.

Single Truck Focus:
With only one truck to focus on, Young’s Motorsports will likely allocate their resources toward making their remaining truck as competitive as possible. This could mean new driver signings or an increased focus on team development to ensure they stay competitive in the Truck Series.

Stronger Focus on Development:
With reduced entries, Young’s Motorsports may prioritize long-term development, looking to build a stronger foundation for the future while adjusting to a smaller-scale operation with Christian Eckes expected to remain with the team in the #12 truck.

420px-Jordan_Anderson_Racing_logo.png

Jordan Anderson Racing has confirmed that they will be exiting the Truck Series for the 2022 season, marking a significant shift in the team’s future plans. The team, which has struggled with poor form and faced ongoing challenges with lack of long-term funding, made the decision to step away from the series.

Lack of Long-Term Funding:
The main reason for the decision is the lack of consistent financial backing to keep the team competitive in the Truck Series. Jordan Anderson, the team owner and driver, cited that without the financial stability to field competitive entries, it would be difficult to continue racing at the level required in the series.

Impact of the 26-Truck Limit:
The 26-truck limit for the 2022 season further compounded the team’s struggles. With the limit on the number of trucks each team can field, Jordan Anderson Racing found itself unable to secure a spot to remain competitive within the tighter field. This external factor pushed the team toward the decision to leave the series.

Poor Form on Track:
Despite some standout performances over the years, Jordan Anderson Racing has struggled with consistent performance on the track. The team has had difficulty competing with the larger, more resource-rich teams, and their lack of success in recent seasons has contributed to the decision to scale back operations.

Jordan Anderson’s Personal Decision:
In addition to the team’s struggles, Jordan Anderson, who has also driven for his own team in the Truck Series, has also made the difficult decision to step away from the series as a driver for the time being. Anderson has expressed that this will give him the opportunity to focus on exploring other opportunities in motorsport and possibly work on securing funding or partnerships for future ventures.

Audi has confirmed that they will provide an engine package for the NASCAR International Series starting in 2022. However, the manufacturer made it clear that they have no intention of running their own team in the series for the time being.

This move sees Audi entering the International Series as a supplier of engines, offering their cutting-edge technology and performance to teams looking for a competitive edge. Audi's involvement will add an exciting dynamic to the series, as they are known for their success in various motorsports, including Formula E, Le Mans, and DTM.

Though Audi won't be fielding its own cars in the International Series, their engine package will likely have a significant impact, especially given their reputation for innovation and performance in motorsports. It also opens up the opportunity for teams to partner with Audi for their engine supply, creating another level of competition and variety in the series.

This decision to stay as an engine supplier rather than running a full team aligns with Audi's broader motorsport strategy, allowing them to focus on their engineering strengths and provide cutting-edge powertrains to a range of competitive teams.

Fans can look forward to seeing how Audi's engine packages perform against the other manufacturers and whether it can challenge the dominance of brands like Chevrolet, Toyota, and Ford in the International Series.

Arthur D'Tea Confirms Rejection of Formula 3 Offer, Eyes Future in NASCAR Cup Series

In an exclusive announcement at Darlington Raceway, Arthur D'Tea revealed that he has turned down an offer from Carlin to join Formula 3 next year. The offer would have seen the young driver make the leap to single-seater racing in Europe, but D'Tea made it clear that he doesn’t see his future in that type of racing.

Speaking to the media, D'Tea said:
"I’ve been fortunate to have offers from some great teams in Europe, including Carlin for Formula 3, but after careful consideration, I decided that my passion lies here in NASCAR. I’m really focused on my journey in the Truck Series, and I believe I have the potential to make it to the Cup Series one day, where my heart truly is. The road to the top is long, but I’m confident that I’m on the right path."

This statement marks a bold commitment to NASCAR for D'Tea, who has shown plenty of promise in the Truck Series since joining ThorSport Racing. Known for his consistent performances, D'Tea is aiming to carve out a career in the Cup Series, and he made it clear that he’s not willing to veer away from that goal.

D'Tea's Focus on the Cup Series: With a determination to work his way up to the NASCAR Cup Series, D'Tea explained that he sees his future in NASCAR’s highest level, rather than pursuing a career in European open-wheel racing.

"The Cup Series is where I want to be. It’s the pinnacle of NASCAR, and I know there’s still a lot of work ahead of me. But with the experience I’m gaining here in the Truck Series, I’m confident that I’ll be ready when the time comes to move up," D'Tea added.

Despite being relatively new to the series, D'Tea has impressed many with his maturity and poise on the track. His steady progress with ThorSport Racing has him positioned as one of the rising stars in the series.

What This Means for His Career: While his decision to stay in NASCAR could be seen as a departure from the traditional racing route, D'Tea’s commitment to his goals shows a clear sense of direction in his career. With several years of potential growth ahead in the Truck Series, D'Tea could be a force to be reckoned with in the Cup Series in the coming seasons.

For now, his focus remains on improving his performance in the Truck Series and securing strong results for his team at ThorSport Racing. As the season progresses, D'Tea will be looking to continue his upward trajectory, with his eyes firmly set on the Cup Series as his ultimate goal.

D'Tea's rejection of the Formula 3 offer has solidified his commitment to NASCAR and further emphasized the growth of talent in the Truck Series as a launching pad for the Cup Series. Fans and experts alike will be keeping an eye on him as he continues to build his career in the world of NASCAR.

+ + + +

In a surprising and bold move, Logan Slayer, known for his typically reserved personality, has openly questioned Arthur D'Tea's decision to turn down an offer from Carlin for a spot in Formula 3 next season. Slayer, who has long been regarded as one of the more composed and quiet drivers in the Truck Series, took to Twitter to voice his thoughts on D'Tea’s decision.

Logan Slayer's Tweet:
"I respect Arthur as a driver, but turning down an opportunity in Formula 3 seems like a mistake. The guy’s supposed to be a road course expert, but every track in F3, F2, and F1 is a road course. Why not take that opportunity to prove yourself on the biggest stage? I can’t see how passing it up is a smart move, especially for someone with his talent."

This tweet immediately stirred up controversy, as many fans and drivers alike were shocked by Slayer’s sudden and unexpected opinion, given his usual low-key presence. D'Tea, never one to back down, wasted no time in responding to Slayer’s criticism, further intensifying the rivalry between the two.

Arthur D'Tea’s Response on Twitter:
"Logan, I get that you may not understand my decision, but NASCAR is where my heart is. You know, not all of us are chasing the same dream. Some of us want to succeed in what we truly love, and for me, that's NASCAR. I’m not going to take every offer just because it's ‘the bigger stage.’ You can have your Formula 3, I’ll keep my eyes on the Cup Series."

This response only fueled the fire, with fans quickly rallying behind both drivers, some agreeing with Slayer’s take that Formula 3 is the right route for someone with D'Tea's skill set, while others supported D'Tea’s decision to stay true to his NASCAR roots.

Logan Slayer Responds Again:
"Arthur, I respect your commitment to NASCAR, but you can’t just ignore the potential of Formula 3. It’s an open-wheel series, sure, but it’s also one of the best ways to improve your skills on road courses, and let’s face it, you’re good at them. Passing up that chance just seems like you’re limiting yourself to one track and one style of racing. You want to race in the Cup Series? Great. But why not take every opportunity to grow, even if it’s outside NASCAR?"

As expected, D'Tea didn’t hold back in his final retort.

Arthur D'Tea’s Final Response:
"I’m not limiting myself to anything, Logan. I’m simply focusing on what I believe is the right path for me. I’m not going to take every opportunity just because someone else says it’s a good move. It’s easy for you to say when you’ve had the chance to prove yourself in NASCAR, but some of us have to take the road less traveled. We’ll see where that road leads, and I’m confident I’ll get there with my focus in NASCAR."

The Fallout:
The back-and-forth between Logan Slayer and Arthur D'Tea quickly became a trending topic on social media, drawing attention from both fans and industry insiders. Fans seemed to split evenly between supporting D'Tea’s loyalty to NASCAR and backing Slayer’s view that rejecting a high-profile opportunity like Formula 3 might be a missed chance for career growth.

Rivalries like this, especially between two highly competitive drivers, are sure to add more intrigue as the season continues. Both drivers have had impressive showings on the track, and with this Twitter exchange intensifying the heat between them, their performances on the track will undoubtedly be closely watched.

As Logan Slayer and Arthur D'Tea continue to exchange barbs over Twitter, their rivalry is sure to add a layer of intensity to the upcoming races. Fans will be eagerly watching both drivers in future races to see how their words translate to performance on the track. One thing is for sure: the heat between these two isn’t cooling down anytime soon.

Darlington Raceway: Part One

7th May
300px-Darlington_raceway.svg.png

147 Laps (Stage 1–2 35: laps; Stage 3: 77 laps)

The Truck Series heads to the Darlington Raceway for Round 9 of the 2021 season. Known as the “Lady in Black”, Darlington is one of the toughest and most historic tracks on the NASCAR calendar. This 1.366-mile intermediate oval is famous for its challenging turns and the difficulty it presents to drivers, requiring precision and strategy to conquer the tight corners and the wall that looms close to the racing surface.

Track Characteristics:
Length: 1.366 miles
Shape: Oval with 4 turns (Turns 1 & 2 are relatively flat, while Turns 3 & 4 have more banking)
Surface: Asphalt (high wear)
Challenges: Sharp turns, high tire wear, and the potential for drivers to hit the wall, especially on the tight corners.

Key Factors to Watch:
- With Darlington's high tire wear, drivers will need to manage their tires carefully throughout the race. The first few laps could see quick speeds, but long runs will put tire conservation at a premium.

- Darlington is a track where experience can make a big difference. Drivers who have raced here before and have learned how to navigate its tricky surface will have an edge over rookies or less experienced drivers.

- While some drivers will need to take calculated risks to make passes and gain positions, others will need to be cautious, avoiding contact with the wall, which is a common issue here.

Key Storylines to Watch:
Momentum for Tommy Bedlam (#77) – Going for 3 in a Row!
Coming off back-to-back wins at Kansas, Bedlam is the driver to beat. His form has been red-hot, and Darlington’s worn-out surface could suit his patient driving style.

Logan Slayer vs. Arthur D’Tea – Twitter War Turns Into On-Track Rivalry!
The unexpected social media feud between Slayer and D’Tea could add some drama. Will they keep it clean, or will tensions spill onto the track?

Brandon Blaze’s Playoff Hopes in Jeopardy!
Despite having a win earlier in the season, Blaze has struggled to break into the top 20 in points. A bad finish here could end his playoff chances.

Big-Name Teams Battling for Supremacy!
With powerhouse organizations like Team Penske, Kyle Busch Motorsports, GMS Racing, and ThorSport all fielding strong trucks, it’ll be a tight race at the front.

Before this weekend's race at Darlington, Tommy Bedlam held a press conference at the media center.

A few days ago, I was given an incredible opportunity to take my talents to the NASCAR International Series to drive for Gene Haas. The offer to be part of Mr. Haas' team was incredible, not only because of the money that he offered. Obviously, the financial incentive to drive for Haas was mind-blowing. $450,000 is more than I've made in my career. To say that I'm honored would be an understatement.

That's what makes this decision such a difficult one to make. When I was 16 years old, the team at Chevrolet Racing approached me with a chance to be part of their developmental program. Now, years later, I'm driving a Chevrolet for GMS Racing. I've spoken to Mr. Haas this morning and let him know that I'm not going to be able to walk away from the people who brought me to this level of NASCAR. I thanked him for his offer, and he knows that there is nothing but respect for him and everything that he has built. However, I'm committed to finishing this season with GMS Racing, and I plan to take the next steps in my career sitting behind the wheel of a Chevrolet.

Thank you all for being here today.

Tommy gets up and walks out of the media center.

Darlington Raceway: Part Two

1397495090000-GTY-484802317.jpg

Gene Haas didn't hold back in his response to Tommy Bedlam’s decision to turn down his $450,000 offer to join the NASCAR International Series. Speaking to reporters before the race at Darlington, Haas made it clear that he found Bedlam’s reasoning unusual.

"Loyalty to a manufacturer is something we will never understand," Haas said bluntly. "We’re still in talks with three different engine suppliers for next year. I don’t see how brand loyalty plays into a decision like this when we don’t even know what manufacturer we’ll be running with."

Haas also hinted that Bedlam’s decision may not be as final as it seems. "I fully expect Tommy is sitting on another offer already," he added. "Whether that’s with GMS or somewhere else, I don’t know. But at the end of the day, everyone has to make the choice they think is best for their career. We’ll move forward with the guys who are ready to race at the international level."

With Dubba Best already confirmed to drive for Haas Racing in the International Series, and at least one more seat still open, speculation will now turn to who else might take up the opportunity that Bedlam just walked away from.

Jeff Gluck: Tommy, what happened out there? You were at the front, then dropped to 8th.

Tommy Bedlam: You know, they say you haven't been racing at Darlington if you don't get the Darlington stripe, and damn...I striped the right side of this one good, didn't I? Jesus. Look at that thing. I ripped the wrap right off of it. Sucks; we were gong for 3 in a row. Had a truck that could do it, but I just overdrove it in the corner there. Gotta be better than that for sure. Crew did great. The truck was great. That one's all on me. We've got a couple of wins, so yea, I can drive a little more aggressively knowing that we're looking good for the playoffs. Got a stage win, but yea, I just got too aggressive.

Jeff Gluck: Any thoughts on Gene Haas' comments about you turning down his offer?

Tommy Bedlam: Gah, yea I heard what I said. I really thought we were good. I called him this morning, had a very calm, respectful conversation. I guess people like Gene aren't used to being told no. He says that brand loyalty in this sport doesn't make sense, but he's been with Ford since he made the jump into NASCAR. He's been with Ferrari since he got into F1, so I think Gene is a pretty big believer in manufacturer loyalty. I hate that he's upset, but I've always been a loyal person. That matters to me. Chevy stuck by me when I was developing. They've stood by me while I've been learning how to race trucks.

Jeff Gluck: Is there any truth to Gene's statement that you have another deal in the works?

Tommy Bedlam: Nothing that I'm going to talk about tonight, Jeff. I think you know that, though. When there's something to annoucne, we'll make an announcement. Until then, I'm committed to GMS Racing and the Jack Daniels Chevy and what we're doing in the Xfinity Series. I promise, when there's something official, you'll find out about it. I'm gonna go celebrate another Top 5.
