Movie Pet Peeves

I don't mean what do you hate the most in a certain movie. I mean when you go to the movies, what are some of your pet peeves that seem to be common occurances?

One of mine, and this happened AGAIN last night, there always has to be that one guy with the loudest laugh...

And people who pull out their cell phones during the fucking movie.

Especially when they have a fucking afro. No joke, this happened to me once.

The cell phone thing bugs me but the main thing is crying babies and the parents don't immediately take them outside. It automatically takes me out of the movie and it takes me a while to get back into it.

No the most annoying is that one guy in the theater that has the compulsive need to be hilarious and make all his buddies laugh. Fuck that guy shut the fuck up sit the fuck down and watch the movie.

Thought I should mention, I am that one guy that does the water drip thing during a silent part in the movie.

I used to get mad during all those little annoyances but I now go to the Alamo Drafthouse which strictly prohibits any of those actions. It cost more so I guess that a disturbance lol. I don't care during comedy's or action movies though. It's mainly darker movies or horror.

People that sit in front of you with big heads, people that always talk and people that use their phone during the movie. It's like what the fuck? Can't you wait til the movie finishes? You paid to watch a movie, now fucking watch it.

I don't have a big problem with people using their phones, just as long as it's on silent and they're trying to hide it. It's fucking annoying when people hold it out in front of them like normal and all you see in the corner of your eye, while sitting in a very dark cinema, is this big fuck off light. Some people just don't get it.

I just generally hate when you hear a couple of people always having to strike up a chat during the movie. They think it's okay because they're whispering, but the fact I can hear them is the annoying part. All I want is to hear the movie.

Yeah I agree with just about all of this. I seriously hope there isn't anything like this or worse when I see The Dark Knight Rises tomorrow. It just annoys you especially when all your focus is trying to go onto the movie.

For me the worst is when you are at an R rated movie... but some idiotic parents decide to bring their kids to it and the kids start talking during the movie and the parents are answering the questions instead of telling their kids to shut up.

This is exactly what happened to my mate the other night. He went and saw Ted and a couple of parents thought it was an awesome idea to bring their little kids along. First of all it's a movie they shouldn't even be seeing to begin with, but because they didn't understand any of it they kept talking and were disruptive. Stupid parents.

I sometimes text during a movie, but I cover it up so it won't disturb anybody - plus I'm usually sitting in the back row.

If I'm watching a bad movie and I have company, I WILL RiffTrax it. IN THE THEATRE. I did so with Season of The Witch, for instance, and it was more entertaining than the movie.

My pet peeve? Teenagers. Whenever there's a large group of teenagers in a screening room with me, I know I'm going to be annoyed at some point. And this was true when I was their age as well - I was 16 when I went to see The Two Towers, and I was STILL annoyed by the morons ooooh'ing at the kissing scene and pretending to throw arrows at the screen during a battle scene. Sit down and shut up, you morons!

Sometimes, though, there's that one guy/girl (usually a guy, for some reason) who manages to make it entertaining for everybody. I'm OK with them.

There was one dude in Ted, who literally screamed every time a funny part came up. Like, he had to be the loudest of everybody, he would repeat the line said, shouting it. I really hate those people, I want to enjoy the movie fuckers! I didn't pay to hear you.

I hate people who try to shush me and tell me to put my cell phone away, jerkoffs who walk in front of me when I'm recording the movie.

God I hate those people.

This is why I throw my candy at people.
