Santana is already pulling his weight on the Indies. It’s actually his tag team partner that’s still in AEW that I think is gonna have a hard time.
Good for him, they've never stricken me as solo guys. Just like Private Party.

Would rather not have a known backstage whiner
Wrestling is full of people that are going to whine. It just is what it is lol. I also don’t think Santana did a whole lot of public whining. He just didn’t like his booking he wanted to leave his partner didn’t want to leave and he just waited out his contract.

I think if AEW and WWE did a roster purge, it'd be overall good for every other company. TNA, MLW, NWA, the lot of them. The more high end talent and big name free agents available, the better for the indies to expand.
U could make like 2 indie feds of released aew n wwe guys really, it's wild. But then there's injuries etc. Tough balance to keep. I do think aew could let go of like 10+ dudes tho. I'd prob keep all the ladies tho

100% if they think they can sell merchandise. They took punk back

Last thing WWE fans remember about Rusev is that he’s a cuck

Don’t think he’d move merch or a needle

He’d be better off in TNA being a main eventer

Santana is the better of the two from I see, but I agree. LAX is a tag team to me. One of the better ones too so this is a shame.

Cuts are a part of the business. What do they have, 5 hours of TV a week?

When you have a roster of 100 or so ish people, that’s a lot to try to cram in 5 hours.

Obviously guys are gonna fall through the cracks. It makes more sense to let guys go that you’re not doing anything with than to hold onto them for 3-4 years cause you don’t want to be the bad guy.

Can even change it to whiners at every job.

He also had issue with alcohol n is now sober. I think a fresh start is worth taking a chance on n I think it makes sense for it to not be in aew.

I don't think he's a bad guy nor do I think the door is closed forever

Genuinely think only punk is banished forever (n the rapey drunk guy they canned)

I was thinking that he was never really a merch mover outside of that small Rusev day window.

And tbh, that was as much Aiden English(can’t remember his real name rn) as much as it was Miro.

I can’t see him moving much merch or being a huge draw solo.

Cwalker seeing the light. We were all wrong. Miro is not a main event talent or a big draw. He's a likeable big guy that can occasionally catch meme fire.

MLW too unless they really want out. Like when they allowed Hammerstone to make it an angle.

yeah I figured. i dont think nwa does cuts either outside of that nasty business with their former champ, but that was more of a ''were firing you a bit early because ur not staying and ur talking shit''

I also have a theory that early AEW contracts all had no cut clauses to entice people to sign but aew will never admit it. I could even see something like they have to pay the whole contract to cut unless it's a firing. Just a theory tho, would explain a lot

MLB is pretty good for cuts.

Basketball occasionally
