Santana and Ortiz never winning the Tag Titles still pisses me off to no end. One of the best Hispanic Tag Teams of their Era and you don't let those two guys roll with the Titles is criminally bad. Santana is still young enough to have a bright future by himself till Ortiz leaves AEW and they kill together once again outside of AEW. I hope TNA ends up calling Santana like now.

Ortiz and Santana are no longer friends I don't think leaving AEW will fix that tbh (though I do hope Santana gets over it one day as it seems he's the one who vocally has an issue with the other)

I mean, just look at what the fuck they were able to do last night? Is mind-boggling how loaded both companies can be with stars.

This is also why I think more tag teams should be created. Because the great thing is look at the blackpool combat club. They have plenty of singles matches, but they can also tagteam like with FTR.

I feel like the days where you had to leave a tagteam in order to have a singles run is over.

Yeah, their relationship fractured when they disagreed about what to do unfortunately. I think reconciliation is off the table at this point. You can tell an attempt was made because Santana agreed to do that one multi man match with Ortiz (was it blood and guts)?

There was a point in time where leaving AEW probably would’ve kept them together but it’s way past that.

Hopefully a couple years down the road we’ll get a reunion.

yeah to your point, I think Mox and Claudio might win the tag belts next - seems like they are the kayfabe strongest team in the division now, they beat FTR clean

One thing I know about family you can be at odds for Years and eventually come together again like I had with my Brother before his passing. Hopefully both guys can reach that point I have faith that it will happen.
