all perspective, lots of people would be pretty happy taking the stable tv time.

and these rumors are always dangerously one sided. ''we were supposed to win the belts a few times but stuff came up and i cant really or wont talk about the whys'' . to me that means there could have been perfectly reasonable reasons as to why but its framed as if AEW fucked them yknow
And yeah, I take the penciled to win part with a grain of salt, but I absolutely believe them when they say the just general not winning them part is what led to him wanting to leave. Didn’t even need to be promised them. Just saw he wasn’t gonna.

yeah im with u here, murderers row at the top in aew its crazy
And it’s harder for guys that aren’t huge Indy names or big names from Japan or former WWE guys like Jericho and Moxley.

They have to work twice as hard just to bump their head on the glass ceiling.

Which is give guys like MJF and Swerve a ton of credit. Even a Hangman Page too. Cause they weren’t worldwide known names when this all started.

PnP never winning aew tag titles is one of the biggest blunders in AEW history
Dang that’s surprisingg. They were the OGs along with the Young Bucks and Lucha Bros.

I can’t disagree with that statement.

Like I’ll be honest, I’ll put my hand on the Bible and say that revolution was one of the best things I’ve seen in a while. I love what AEW does present most of the time but I think the worst thing about Tony’s booking is the tag team titles. I think there’s a lot of great tag teams at his disposal, and he makes some very baffling choices with the championships.

Swerve and MJF cut their teeth in MLW so I do think they came into AEW as relative unknowns to the AEW fans, but I would say that hangman was quite well established by the time AEW opened up by the types of people that were watching the show because he was very prominent in Ring of Honor with the elite. Which is why he was the one that made it to the finals with Jericho for the championship.

Swerve was on national tv weekly on NXT showing out. He was known.

he was def ''the hot prospect'' and the main character of AEW for a very long time. I would say established yet unproven was the consensus

Swerve is a superstar. I’m not sure how WWE missed on him so badly.
Vince is an incompetent twat, that's why.

There's an entire laundry list of people WWE had that should have been stars if not Mega stars with and they fucked up because the guy who owned the company is a numb skull!

Seems a bit confusing then if Hunter called him to come back but it’s also possible he got proven wrong. That’s the story WWE always told McIntyre is sometimes they want you to go out and you’ll prove themselves and then they come back.

I think the thing that a lot of people forget is different bookers have different booking philosophies and because of those different philosophies they’re also looking for different things in talent. There’s a lot of superstars that didn’t make it elsewhere, but became big stars in WWE and then there are stars that didn’t do anything in WWE and got to shine elsewhere.
