You tell it the same way they told the story with Goldberg. Brock underestimated him. Goldberg caught him off guard. In a fight, all it takes is one lucky shot
Fair enough

nah I dont think it would matter at mania with no actual stakes. crowd would pop and Brock just fights someone else on Monday. or takes a break. Agree with Walker, dude is Teflon he could lose 5 times in a row and it would not really matter. Seth is less over and lost a million times to Cody and is fine, crowds dont give a shit about wins and losses in wwe imo
Real shit.

Think about his last year. He lost to Lashley at Rumble. Lost to Roman at Mania. Lost to Roman again at Summerslam. Got dumped from the Rumble by Lashley. Lost to Lashley at EC.

And yet when that guitar rift hits, he’s getting pop’s only challenged by Roman and Cody

One way or another I don’t think the match was ever going to happen and it’s just more rumor bullshit but what do I know :DEAD:

I mean it makes sense and would explain the shitty finish at EC

Brock turning down Bray also makes sense there too tbh but also maybe Bray was the backup for Austin already and both matches have gone to shit...that would def explain why they seemingly at random went to Omos for a spectacle lol

Austin vs. Brock was never going to happen. I find it hilarious they even considered it if they did tbh.

Lesnar vs. Omos is literally the toilet break match of this Mania.

If WWE wanted the match between Steve Austin and Brock to happen then they would’ve made it happen. The rumor is Steve turned it down cause of money. Am I supposed to believe that WWE just straight up lowballed him and expected him to except? And then they moved Brock vs Bobby up to the Chamber because of a match that wasn’t guaranteed? Spare me

Just make it happen, that's all you gotta do. It's easy this match making lark when big ego's and personalities are involved.

if its money, could just be Austin isnt interested in that match and gave a stupid asking price they know is outrageous. fairly common tactic

And how do you know they didn't offer him the same money but he still turned it down?
