fwiw i am at least curious what kind of match austin lesnar would have even wrestled.
Would probably beat the shit out of each other for 7 minutes. Austin eats a couple suplexes; Lesnar goes for an F5, Austin slips out and Stunner for the win

I mean Austin/Lesnar would’ve drawn money and it’s a match we’ve never seen before.

I just wouldn’t want Austin in there taking suplexes from Brock. It fucked Lashley up last year; I can only imagine what it would do to a 50 year old who doesn’t take bumps often

This history of Austin walking out before he was supposed to face Brock in 2002 would have sold it alone as huge, but yeah I had no desire to watch either actually fight each other lmao

Wouldve immediately bumped Usos vs KO/Sami out of the main event of night one

Realistically if Austin were to wrestle again, LA Knight or a Seth Rollins would’ve been the best choices.

Somebody that he can work safe with

not taking the suplexes is probably why Austin wisely declined, he prob thought the match would be shit without those bumps but also cant take them

It would make no sense for Brock to lose but of course I can’t see Austin losing so what’s the point

Brock could afford to lose to Austin. He’s Teflon at this point

nah I dont think it would matter at mania with no actual stakes. crowd would pop and Brock just fights someone else on Monday. or takes a break. Agree with Walker, dude is Teflon he could lose 5 times in a row and it would not really matter. Seth is less over and lost a million times to Cody and is fine, crowds dont give a shit about wins and losses in wwe imo

I just like consistency in my booking. You’re telling me the guy who broke the streak and squashed John cena can’t beat a 58 year old who’s wrestled once in 20 years?

Did you approve of Austin going over KO last year?

You tell it the same way they told the story with Goldberg. Brock underestimated him. Goldberg caught him off guard. In a fight, all it takes is one lucky shot
