Ring of Honor Wrestling (8/11/12) - Kyle O'Reilly vs Matt Taven

O'Reilly doesn't need any mic time, but this was a good match after his promo, Taven's impressed me his few ROH TV matches he's had this year. Also, Nigel did a GREAT job of putting over the Fujiwara Armbar O'Reilly finished with, made it seem like a deadly move almost.

Ring of Honor Wrestling (8/11/12) - The Bravados vs Michael Elgin and Roderick Strong

Good stuff here, more build towards Elgin leaving the HoT, which allowed the Bravados to pick up the win!

ROH Boiling Point - Mike Mondo vs Roderick Strong

Crazy opening match, Roddy broke his nose early on, just a great match to open this PPV. With the way this match happened, you would have thought these guys were having a year long feud, not just an opener with no real build up. Roddy locked in the LaBelle/Yes/No Lock at one point as well and the crowd went nuts with "YES!" chants.

Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho World Title Ladder match from No Mercy 2008

God, this is the best Ladder match WWE has done in years, if not the best it's self. So many creative uses with the ladder with only a few high spots. As it should be. And from the time it happened, you really thought HBK was going to get the title.

ROH Boiling Point - Antonio Thomas vs Matt Taven vs QT Marshall vs Vinny Marseglia

Much better than I expected, I thought these guys would just do a lot of crazy spots and botch a good bit because they were trying to make a good first impression. They did great at establishing the heels and faces early on, which I think helped out the match. Taven was easily the star here, but I'm good with Marshall winning as well, the finisher he used was pretty sick.

Bob is fucking awesome. This match was pretty good, 'bout like I expected. Nice win for Cole, nice match for Bob.

ROH Boiling Point - Charlie Haas vs Michael Elgin

Before the match, Roddy says he's on strike from the HoT, so he comes out with a case of beer and starts downing them while cheering for Haas. Nice stuff, and even though the ending was kinda' weird with all the stuff with Roddy, it was still good. Not a fan of Haas getting the win, but it's whatever, not like it was clean.

ROH Boiling Point - The Briscoes vs Jimmy Jacobs & Steve Corino

Not what I expected, more wrestling I guess. I was expecting more of a brawl, but this was still good. Nice ending as well.

ROH Boiling Point - Two out of Three Falls: Jay Lethal vs Tommaso Ciampa

Pretty good match here. Ciampa messed up his knee pretty bad about a minute into it and still managed to finish the match and make a good one out of it. I don't think this was quite as good as their 10th Anniversary match, but it was still real good. Nana attacking RD Evans towards the end made me :mark:

ROH Boiling Point - Eddie Edwards & Sara Del Ray vs Mike Bennett & Maria Kanellis

This was about as good as I expected, could have been worse, but I was entertained the whole way out. Ending was hilariously bad though. Aftewards, the crowd gives the QUEEN a standing ovation while chanting "Thank you Sara." Much deserved

TNA Hardcore Justice 2012 - Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez vs. Kid Kash and Gunner

Nice choice for the opener. Neither of these 4 guys were gonna blow the roof off the joint so they kept it simple with a basic tag formular match Chavo and Hernandez both looked good and the crowd was hot all the way through, the only thing i didn't like was Chave using the 3 Three Amigos only 2 minutes into the match. ** I think Chavo and Hernandez will be taking the World Tag Team Championships really soon.

ROH Boiling Point - ROH World Championship: Eddie Kingston vs Kevin Steen (c)

I guess I was expecting much more from this one because I'm pretty disappointed. It was good, don't get me wrong, but I didn't like the interference and involvement of Corino or Jacobs at the beginning or end. They also should have left Corino on commentary. This was still a nice brawl, had like 3 tables broken, few chairs used. Could have been much better though.

TNA Hardcore Justice 2012 - Bound For Glory Series Falls Count Anywhere Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Pope D'Angelo Dinero vs. Magnus vs. Mr. Anderson

Pope gets jumped by Aces & Eight's backstage during his entrance...so I guess he's not competing tonight. And i already like that pick to take out the match because 1. He's AWFUL 2. He's barely done anything in TNA and in this series and 3. He really is awful, but his selling of the beat down 10/10 If only HBK would of sold his arm like that. The match was okay, but I really couldn't get into this match. I think it's because this was the one BFG match that didn't seem that important cause you can see none of these guys are gonna win the series or maybe it's because this was built as a 3 way Hardcore match but what we got was a 3 way with 3/4 moments of Hardcoreness with not much selling and had more then a few sloppy and slow moments. **1/4
