No, I saw the last part. You just seemed very quick to shut down that train of thought as not possible which doesn't make much sense considering the other two options you are suggesting it is.

I'm in agreement here. EV is pushing and it seems genuine thus far.

it wasn't my reason for voting. i feel like if you'd actually looked into my posts my reasons for voting him would've been apparent.

i was saying i had started that post but in the time it took me to post it (i didn't do so right away) there had been a number of posts/votes in that time, including his claim. in actuality though that wouldn't have prevented me from voting him anyway, well maybe if i'd seen the claim i would've reconsidered if i had a better alternative at that time. regardless a vote to lynch makes it sound like he was close to being lynched. I think my vote put him at like 5 total?

It was a vote to lynch if you had seen the claim and chosen to vote for him. You're claiming you hadn't seen the claim though so that would be different. You're also still voting him presumably so that falls flat

like i said, not seen anything else yet that takes my fancy. i have some town reads but that's about it. that said i haven't really seen a huge amount to dissuade me ultimately from jeff either although i'm taking in what people are saying. the biggest thing going for him right now to me is that i can't see who could possibly be on his team if he is mafia based on those who have posted thus far. my town reads also seem to think he's town for the most part so perhaps i should just trust in that

Scum are usually pretty good at getting the easy parts of a claim correct, that being name and alignment. You would have to assume he is an extremely weak and careless scum player to assume that he is scum and mistook the character name and his alignment in his claim.

Way more likely for town to make a careless/lazy claim. Especially given he has a PR which he has already expressed some disgruntlement at.

Scum are usually pretty good at getting the easy parts of a claim correct, that being name and alignment. You would have to assume he is an extremely weak and careless scum player to assume that he is scum and mistook the character name and his alignment in his claim.

i don't know his town/mafia proficiency no. i can say generally i've seen players at all skill levels make incredibly dumb mistakes so that doesn't really fly for me. i'm not really pushing it right now though regardless

just to clarify i never pushed him on that alignment mistake. i did notice it but assumed the DNP or whatever he called it at the time meant DiNosaur Protection and he was just doing some strange short hand. i agree that it's a mistake town could make as well as mafia

I actually think that this was a pretty logical town thought by Guts lol, if you can take a 50/50 shot at scum day one then yeah, those are pretty decent odds for day one.

It's obviously way more complex than that but at face value I don't have an issue with the post.
