So, anyone's opinions changed on the base of seeing the gimmick in action? Personally I thought he pulled it off awesomely.

That shocked the hell out of me at how good it was. Could see this character working afterall at least in FCW. The report made this sound worse than it actually was.

The guy just needed some direction, more than just being being a second generation star. Good character for him as well.

Anyone find it funny how Eli Cottonwood is just behind him standing there, that guy is such a doof. That being said, Husky really delivered and I'm really excited for him. With NXT 2 turning out so bad, Husky might be the best guy to come out of that season.

this looks like a main event charachter.i always liked husky and those promos were very good.its also good that eli cottenwood is doing the only thing hes good at which is standing there looking stupid.

The first video is really good but it doesn't seem like a wrestling promo to me, it seems like more of a character from some weird cable tv series. Second video was alright but again it doesn't really work in a wrestling sense to me and I can't see it working at all on the main roster but I hope that I am proved wrong.

I didn't think it was too bad, better than what I thought. I don't think it's as great as some people have said, but it's something. I do hope Husky isn't moved up to the main roster too soon with this gimmick because I'm still not sold on it being the best start for him.

He sounds like Forrest Gump's crazy brother. I love it. He's got an awesome look, this is a character I can easily get behind.

For me to believe in this Hillbilly character he needs to be more racist, bitter and hateful.

Quite frankly, first when I heard that Husky's got a new gimmick I was like: "lol do they think we're dumb and we don't know he's Husky? they should've learned that one from the Tensai thing.". And I was like "meh".

BUT

then I saw the videos. Now I'm a mark for this gimmick. I wouldn't even think in my life that Husky could be that good when it comes to mic skills. I mean.. you know. Husky. You saw the guy on NXT. I ate the whole thing up. He's not Husky to me anymore. He's Bray Wyatt to me.
