I had no idea where to actually post this, as we have 2 different e-feds and both have different people posting in them.

So yeah, how did you get into e-feds? What drove you to write stories of either your favorite wrestler, or the wrestler you always thought yourself as?

Me- I was 12, on a forum that had been around for a bit longer than that. The forum was called WrestlingAddictsAsylum.com(Don't know if it's been brought back to life or not). One guy had a dream that a whole community could discuss the thing he so dearly loved. So he created the website, and it grew to something he never would have imagined. I was just truly getting into the whole wrestling thing. I found this website and loved it. I could talk about wrestling without fear of looking like a complete nerd. They had an e-fed, I didn't join it right away. The e-fed was called XWE(Xtreme Wrestling Entertainment) and I loved reading all of the stories people made. They created their own characters or used existing wrestlers. It was just awesome to see the creativity that went into some of this stuff. Later that year, I thought I'd try my hand at it.

I just love the creativity in some e-feds and really haven't looked back since.

So, what's your story?

About four and a half years ago I searched "wrestling forums" or something along those lines into Google and ended up joining one called PWMania. It has since died due to no activity, but it used to be pretty big. Anyway, it had an e-fed called ETW, and I just randomly decided to join it about two days after I joined the forum. I read a couple of trashtalking threads that'd been made and quickly jumped in as The Rock. Two weeks later I was ETW Champion.

I've only ever taken two extended breaks from e-fedding, both lasting a couple of months, as I find it a good way to fill in spare time. It actually helped release my creativity and did wonders for various writing assignments in my English class as it developed my vocabulary and all that. So yeah, it's had it's uses :)

I posted a topic on ThatGuyWithTheGlasses's forums about "Make Your Own Wrestling Gimmick" or something of the sort. Nobody replied, but I got a PM from a user who I'd later discover was Edgeomatic (also on this site). He invited me to Powerslamforums, where they had the PWA e-fed. Although I was a little put off by the inherent geekiness of roleplaying, I decided to join. The rest is history :D

My entry was a sort of stop and start process. I found the PWMania forums much like Aniking did, by looking for wrestling discussion and spoilers, this was in January 2008 and I was 13. Almost immediately after signing up rather regrettably as 'sexyboysam' meant to be a nod to my Shawn Michaels fandom at the point but looking back... it was, eh, massively gay. Regardless, I got a PM from a guy called Tudgie and I joined up to ETW as Brock Lesnar. Left after a short while simply by forgetting to bookmark the site, but returned about two months later as Chavo Guerrero and ran with it.

I do it as a hobby, I always liked fantasy booking from pretty early on in my childhood, always thinking about making my own match cards and all that, so the idea of e-fedding is perfect. Been doing it now 4 years and I'm still having a blast.

Ok, I was into RawvsSmackdown and was looking for CAWs. Powerslamforums.com was advertising on the site I was looking through. I loved wrestling for years so I jumped in. Saw the efed thing and started reading. I'm a writer to boot so I loved writing my own stories and would really LOVE to write a wrestling show. SO, I dropped my character and was the first ever UNDISPUTED champion. The rest, as Petey says, is history.

I thought something like this may exist back around 2000 so I actually looked up something. Not sure what exactly I would have searched but whatever. I found a list of E-feds on MSN groups that were just thriving. They looked rather interesting and joined tons of them. I had successful characters in a couple of them so I'd just start focusing on those. I won the World Title with X-Pac in a place called Kane's Hardcore Domain. I was never that consistent but I've been in and out of them since then.

Much like Sam and Aniking, I think we were all around the same time as well, I found PWMania and ETW. ETW was the first fed I ever joined. I got a message from someone there asking me to join. Don't remember who though. I joined ETW as Evan Bourne and became the first and only Two Time Two Time European Champion! (remember that guys? haha) When ETW died out I joined UCW and was there for awhile. Long story short, management became corrupt and I left. Was out for a while before CWA came out and I was there for a little bit. Won the tag titles and IC title. Went undefeated for like two months with Cody Rhodes in CWA. Then I kinda left for a long time. Didn't return until recently with UWF.

Yeah, but anyways, never been a World Champion in any fed yet. Been at for like 4 years. Thats my goal in UWF.

I thought Efeds were an interesting concept when I joined PWM back in late 07 and I joined ETW

I really enjoyed pretending to be my favorite wrestler. That was always great. I remember when I roleplayed as Daniels 4-5 years ago. I wasn't hugely successful, but I held a title the longest any champion for any championship held. So I felt pretty good about that. :)

I used to be a part of this online game where you would create a character and boost up their stats by training and you got points to train by competing in matches. Based on your stats and your style of wrestling, the game would make a match using your moves and spit out a winner. Well I saw a league that uses that game and so I joined it. People would RP but it ultimately all came down to this game. Eventually the league folded and I found PWMania in 2007. I joined there as DM_Punk and decided to join UCW. I was there for a little while but I don't remember what happened. I then went to NCW where I won a United States Championship with CM Punk back when was still on ECW. NCW went under and I kind of just stopped. Then last year I decided to come back after 3 years and now I'm a World Champion lol. I hope for many more years in my E-Fed career.

I remember also taking part in a site called Shootclub.com a few times. That was pretty popular at one time, I can't seem to find much about my past on there even if does have most of their stuff still archived.

Was this The Wrestling Game by any chance?

Started on PWMania back about 5 years ago in a fed known as ETW. I was an avid fan already and then I saw it and gave it a go and just went from there really.
