Considering not a lot of people see him as being scummy, his play right now isn't drawing that much negative attention. However, as much as we could go down this route, it's pretty WIFOM. I just believe in my soul of souls that someone I have no past interactions with, someone I don't even know, would choose to be this aggressive with me when I have not been insulting or disrespectful. That's obviously just one part of the suss, though.
