TBF I kinda prefer the later Halloweens because they don't feel as dated, but that's also because I'm an 80s baby.

Although, the latter half isn't even bad. It's that junkie build up in 2007 that sucks the air out.

I started watching super old movies when I was in high school so I don't really have a problem with them as long as they aren't silent...but I still fucks with a few Chaplin ones that are

Both sides are annoying af tho, the hipsters that think everything new sucks compared to old movies and people that won't watch old movies at all bc they're too old

Like I don't really like the 07 movie, but I don't think it's as bad as most people do just bc remakes always got shit on hard af at that time

But also like with wrestling I can be entertained by pretty much any movie and just acknowledge if it was shitty or not but then I'll just be laughing the whole time at how bad it is

I don't think everything sucks that's new, but I do feel the 80-early 2000s was the peak for entertainment.

That goes for film, TV and wrestling.

Though, TV less so than the other two. There is still a lot of good TV out there.

Peak TV for me is probably 2000 ('99 if you wanna count Sopranos as starting it) to present honestly, bc some of the best TV shows ever are still going on or just ended within the last few years

2007 is a masterpiece compared to 2009, though, to be clear.

Peak time for movies is harder bc I really fucking love a lot from ever era but I'd probably say a broad peak with be 1970-1995 or so
