Music is easy 1965-1975 as a peak for me even tho I love things from all genres pretty much from 1960 to present

Buffy the Vampire Slayer was 1997, so I can't agree with any statement that says 2000 started great TV.

I didn't include music, but same as my previous statement. 80s music is GOAT, 90s just behind it and early 2000s follows behind. Somewhere before 2010 it falls off a cliff.

TBF I did say TV was less so than the others as there's still some great TV out there today.

TV is probably the one medium that's really kept up and probably because there's so much of it.

I rate music weird bc idgaf what was popular at the time, I rate it by what I liked best from the time period so I'd still put current music pretty high

TV shows have also started getting way bigger budgets and big name actors in recent years so that's helped a lot, it's not seen as significantly below movies anymore

I like some current stuff, but I usually listen to 80s, 90s and today channels usually on the radio and spotify.

But 65-75 with music is my absolute favorite, you got Beatles, Pink Floyd, Bowie, Rolling Stones, Marvin Gaye, Bob Dylan...shit was so fire I know I'm forgetting some great ones from that time period

I have a spotify playlist with the most random shit on it that's like 2300 songs and I just shuffle that bitch and listen to whatever it plays lmao I always add full albums so I'll get the random skits and joke songs thrown in too, it's hilarious

TBH that stuff is just before my time. I'm probably more like that that's too old people but not for movies, for music. I'll listen to some of their stuff some of the time, but it doesn't connect to me that way 80s and 90s music does.

Music is the most timeless of mediums for me compared to movies and TV, I think the older stuff holds up better
