ALSO the Episode where the infamous "Vince Russo Has Struck Again" gif comes from specifically because during the wedding the cops come out and arrest Ric Flair because Russo put out a restraining order against him...

Despite having "brain surgery" because of his concussions from the last few weeks. And Ric Flair was never told of this restraining order so he was hauled out. Russo wasn't even in the building lmfao

Tonight's Dynamite is number 261. Only 26 Nitros to go!

Nitro 261

Nitro episode 261 took place from the Dom Cardillo Arena in Kitchener, ON and aired on September 18, 2000. It was the fallout show from Fall Brawl 2000.
  • Rey Misterio Jr./Tygress beat Palumbo/Jindrak/Stasiak/O'Haire/Sanders in a Handicap Elimination match (this was the restart of the big elimination match that started at Fall Brawl but didn't finish because Paul Orndorff got legit hurt)
  • Shane Douglas/Torrie Wilson beat Kwee Wee/Paisley (Douglas over Paisley, btw. Not saying Russo has problems with women)
  • Ernest "The Cat" Miller beat Disco Inferno (with one kick; as a result, Rey and Juvi were stripped of the World Tag Team Titles)
  • Sting beat Booker T by DQ, failing to win the WCW World Heavyweight Title (Jeff Jarrett and Scott Steiner interfered)
  • Storm/Skipper/Duggan (w/ Gunns) beat Gen. Rection/Cpl. Cajun/Lt. Loco (w/ Sgt. AWOL)
  • Jeff Jarrett/Scott Steiner beat KroniK (after Nash sent all of the Natural Born Thrillers out to die vs. KroniK)
  • Mike Awesome beat Vampiro in a Hardcore match
  • Sting/Vince Russo beat Jeff Jarrett/Scott Steiner (w/ Midajah) (uhhhhhh. Booker T replaced Russo for no reason, then gave Russo the pin. Which leads to... next week. Booker T vs. Vince Russo. The dumbest moment in wrestling history)

RAW 261

RAW episode 261 took place from the UTC Arena in Chattanooga, TN and aired on May 25, 1998. It was the go-home show for Over the Edge: In Your House.

  • TAKA Michinoku beat Dick Togo (w/ Yamaguchi-san) to retain the WWF Light Heavyweight Title

  • The Rock (w/ Mark Henry) vs. Triple H (w/ Chyna) ended in a double count-out
  • Steve Austin vs. the Undertaker ended in a no contest (Mr. McMahon was special referee. This was just one of these matches that ended in chaos)

Forgot Dynamite is on Tuesday this week, so... Yesterday's Dynamite was number 262.

Nitro 262

Nitro episode 262 took place from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, NY and aired on September 25, 2000... you know what's coming.

  • Mike Awesome beat the Insane Clown Posse in a Handicap Hardcore match (this is the one with the spot where one of the clowns falls off the bus and eats shit on concrete)
  • Goldberg beat Scott Steiner in a Caged Heat match (in four minutes, after a sportsball guy blocked Steiner from leaving)
  • Jeff Jarrett beat General Hugh G. Rection (Team Canada interfered)
  • Sting beat Lance Storm
  • Vince Russo took a giant shit all over the WCW business, wiped his ass with the concept of wrestling, and then flushed it all down the toilet of bankruptcy by beating Booker T in a Caged Heat match to win the WCW World Heavyweight Title (just... read my post on it in the Bad Matches thread. Stupidest moment in wrestling history)

  • The Rock/D'Lo Brown/Owen Hart (w/ Henry and Kama) beat Triple H/Road Dogg/Billy Gunn (w/ X-Pac and Chyna) by DQ in a Tag Team Elimination match (we were down to HHH vs. Owen, when Ken Shamrock attacked Owen)
  • Jeff Jarrett (w/ Tennessee Lee and Southern Justice) beat Faarooq in a King of the Ring 1998 qualifying round match (this was the re-debut of the Godwinns as Southern Justice, who were Jarrett's bodyguards)

  • Elix Skipper beat Rey Misterio Jr. (w/ Tygress) (Torrie Wilson came out for a distraction)
  • Mark Jindrak/Sean O'Haire beat the Boogie Knights to retain the WCW World Tag Team Titles (oh, where to begin here? Disco thought he'd won the belts but out came Commissioner Mike Sanders to say it didn't count because the ref had been bumped. Out came the rest of the Natural Born Thrillers for the DQ. Then Sanders reversed the DQ so the champs could pin the Boogie Knights easily)
  • Tygress beat Torrie Wilson in a Down Underwear match (= Bra and Panties match, but the women start in stereotypical Halloween-costume Australian outfits. Then Shane Douglas tried to get Tygress but Konnan made the save)
  • Booker T/Ernest "The Cat" Miller beat Kevin Nash/Mike Sanders

  • Dustin Runnels beat Marc Mero (w/ Jacqueline) (Jarrett, Lee, and Southern Justice were all out for this match; so was Sable, who distracted Mero)
  • Triple H beat X-Pac by count-out in a King of the Ring 1998 qualifying round match (Rock distracted HHH while Owen Hart attacked X-Pac and made him unable to get back in the ring)
  • Owen Hart/Mark Henry beat Ken Shamrock/Dan Severn by DQ (DX attacked the Nation members)
  • Kane/Mankind won a WWF World Tag Team Title #1 Contender's Royal Rumble (in case you care about the other teams... LoD 2000, New Midnights, Headbangers, DoA, Oddities, Too Much, Faarooq/Blackman, Bradshaw/TAKA, and Funk/Scorpio)
  • Steve Austin/The Undertaker vs. Kane/Mankind in a Hell in a Cell match.... was a match (there really wasn't a finish here, it was just SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT)

  • Homicide beat Suicide (this was the Feast or Fired cash-in)

I forgot to mention that yeah, Dana was making her debut. It's weird because the official YT upload of that match hard cuts away from the punt. But you can see it at 2:36 here

Hoofs her, and the Full Sail audience notices this

I've probably exaggerated it as harder in my mind a lot in the last decade so me too
