What matters is storyline and character.
I'm just going to quote this part because it's where you and I can agree fully.

It’s like being fans of Cobra Kai and focusing on the workrate of the karate fight scenes as if it is relevant whatsoever.
I've not seen the show yet, but that's hilarious if people are doing that. :DEAD:

They don’t, but wrestling has fanatics who do it, and they get catered to.

Hence why Cobra Kai draws Literally 100s of millions of views, while wrestling gets an average of a million and a half.

People claim TV ratings don’t matter, well that’s a slippery slope for them because if we’re going to base it on the Internet, they should be getting 10-20 million views per video, and 25-75 million if it’s a boom period.

Yet this workrate era gets 1 million views max with most videos hitting 100,000 thousand.

So if Meltzer really wants to go there and use the Internet as a metric he’s setting himself to be in a worse position than to just admit tv ratings still matter.

I said this is fake.....takes a real genius to try argue with me on something we agree with.

You technically disagreed with him on the part we were arguing, though, but please for the love of god don't get that sparked up again.

I mean WWE draws a tenth of the ratings they once did and AEW and Impact wish they could combine their ratings to reach "dying" WCW levels.

Back bumps don't hurt?

The ropes do and the ring does.....you'd think someone who supposedly wrestled would know that

They don’t hurt, it only hurts when they get brand new cable ropes and tighten them too tight , feels like belt whippings the first day

“Bull” ropes are the best ropes, but you gotta throw them out after a while, WWE uses them because they can afford to.

It only stops hurting after you build a callous....stop being stupid.

I don't know about how much more they hurt, but I preferred the cables from a fan perspective, but I'm sure the ropes were better for the workers.

You’re telling a wrestler how ropes feel, they don’t hurt at all lol, new cable ropes hurt when they’re tightened too tight but that’s it.

You’ve never been in a ring. I have.

When I first started training I trained in a piece of shit with tape in the center of the ripped mat, broken padding and no padding on corners.... and it still didn’t hurt.

When I went into the upgraded high end ring, it felt good.

Even a ring I use in the bronx that’s a boxing ring, still doesn’t hurt.

How do?

As a wrestler, I can tell you bumps do not hurt.

For a fanatic to respond from their keyboard telling me it does, aligns with the Topic Thread of Dumbest things wrestling fans say.

I thought you were done responding?

Or does this debate proceed and I continue to refute your claims?

Even though there’s a hair of a possibility you’re trolling, I’ll bite, just because.

A number of wrestlers.....in fact, probably all of them....will challenge your claim that it doesn’t hurt. Degree of pain obviously subject, but, definitely going to hurt.

I may also not quite understand what exactly you mean by “bumps”, perhaps you have a different thing you’re talking about and I’m just taking it the wrong way. Not sure if I believe you’re a wrestler, but, if by chance you are, you’re straight up lying if nothing hurts you. Wrestlers walk away with bumps, bruises, or worse, on a regular basis. There’s more out there to support pain than not. Perhaps your pain level of tolerance is strong, but, I doubt you never feel pain at all.

If you could give examples to clarify, I’m willing to read them and perhaps understand better what exactly you mean.

Bumps don’t hurt, you’re dismissed. You’re not going to tell someone who’s been in the ring for years how a bump feels from your keyboard.

Come back when you’ve taken a bump and don’t waste your time using quotes as proof, you’re a fan and never been in the ring.

Out of curiosity if I found a way to take a bump, would you believe me if I said it hurt?

Because I do live within driving distance of many training schools.
