Did you ever read Venom Island? I do remember hearing it picks up from Absolute Carnage. I'm feeling froggy to read some Comics.

Nah, stopped reading weekly ones as they came out before then when I started my new job. Just been reading older series in full lately

Finally Ronin has come out and boy it was fucking great. You don't know who is the Turtle being represented in this till the end and it was a shock no doubt. This Turtle is out for revenge on Shredder's Grandson and if all goes right HE'LL WHAT HE WANTS!

Just started reading Y: The Last Man, a Vertigo series from the early 2000s by Brian K. Vaughan. Finished the first 5 issues so far, and it's a fucking insane concept that they're doing really well so far.

Update: Binge-read a ton of Y: The Last Man today, finished with #46 now so I'm on the home stretch. Really good shit, the plot and overall story rules. Characters for the most part are great, just some pretty outdated dialogue for some shockingly ahead of their time concepts lol Most importantly, I was hooked to find out how it ended so early on that there was no way I wasn't gonna end up finishing all 60 issues.

Just finish Y: The Last Man and fuck those last 3 issues were a real gut punch the ending especially was just killing me until the last few pages, and then they ended it perfectly IMO, still very bittersweet though but in the best way. Great series overall, plot was just insanely good through and the progression was awesome. The characters got a bit better throughout but some of the dialogue was just meh and is really my only complaint. The monkey was also my favorite character for the record.

Finished the first 12 issues of Preacher and jesus fuck bro So much violence and just absolute garbage human beings being showcased. It's amazing, feels like how ECW just kept pushing the envelope with fucked up shit around this same time period lmao. I think I'm gonna start loving this even more once we really get into the main story now that the main character's past has been dealt with.

Yeah I read two or three last night and then picked up this morning and just read a ton until our TNA rewatch started lmao This is all I do on weekends now Eventually I'll get to a series that I'm not as into that'll take me longer to finish tho, I didn't start Y: The Last Man for awhile bc it just wasn't grabbing me, but once I did I was hooked.

Through issue #25 of Preacher now, read the Saint of Killers mini-series and "The Story of You-Know-Who" one-shot as well. Man this comic is some fucked up shit how they make God look like such a bitch

Bro this comic is FUCKING HORRIBLE so long story short this character (the subject of the one shot "The Story of You-Know-Who) tried to kill himself with a shotgun after he heard that Kurt Cobain did except he didn't succeed and now he goes by "Arseface."

Normally he has translation bubbles, but for whatever this shit is he didn't and bro....when I say I died when I realized what song he was singing

Just finished all of Preacher @Shield-Maiden

HOLY FUCK SHIT bro the ending was just absolutely absurd Absolutely perfect, I wouldn't change one single thing really. Easily one of my favorite series so far, fuck #7 was too low for it on the list I'm going down I can't say enough good things about it honestly

when i first read it - i had to wait literally months for like the 5th and 6th anthology to arrive
