Tensai began as a monster heel who had returned from Japan with a silent killer gimmick, now he has been turn into a face comedy character. The turn occured a couple of weeks back on RAW when he was booked in what he thought was a lingerie match against Brodus Clay. That ended up being turned into a dance off yet no-one told Tensai about the change so we ended up seeing him dance in the middle of the ring in lingerie. In the end Tensai seemed to be enjoying himself and basically turned face during that segment and since then has continued to have Brodus Clay's back and dance with him on shows.

Could this turn out to be one of the most random tag teams WWE has ever seen? WWE does need a bit of a comedy on the show to break things up and so far the crowd reaction hasn't been too bad for them. It would certainly add a bit of variety to the tag team division if they started to use them as a team going forward.

What do you think about this pairing?

I would have liked these guys more if the comedy gimmick wasnt there. Whatever happened to 2 big guys teaming up just to dominate?

That being said, this comedy team sure seems like more of a threat than CoBro, or 3MB.

When I heard that Tensai was coming to WWE I directly said that it would be a bad move, just for a little part of storyline he shouldn't come back to WWE but WWE took him. Tensai is a not a good wrestler or a superstar. No charisma, no great mic skills, boring in ring. He is a powerhouse that you can find easily. But WWE get him back because of some veteran wrestlers advices and suggestions, like The Undertaker.

And Clay, I found his gimmick ridicilous, a big man dancing with all of his fats. Really? What's next? They made him a winning streak against real great performers like Hawkins, Reks, Drew, Ziggler, Swagger etc. Actually Clay is a good wrestler in my opinion but his gimmick is just to bad. He should be some kind of a rhino maybe as his running headbutt looks like a rhino.

This team sucks for me. Hope they won't get tag titles.

I kind of hope that they do eventually head in a more serious direction with these two. It is alright to have some fun with the gimmick but I don't want them to make the two of them out to be jokes. I think that as long as inside the ring they portray them as serious wrestlers it will work out alright. It does add something different to the tag team division and I am for practically anything that adds to that division so I hope that they can get it to work somehow.

It isn't really unseen comedy if its something Tensai did before. He was the Hip Hop Hippo, and a tag champ that was actually over while doing it. His problem has been he's never gotten over as Prince Albert, A Train, or Tensaid the single heel. He's boring, fat, and doesn't have the personality or mic skills to play the kickass monster. That's the story of his wwe career. His most successful runs were in tag teams with Scotty (comedic big man) or Test (where Trish did all the talking) and lackey to PAC/Boss

So you find a fat guy who dances ridiculous but you instead think that he should be a rhino? :sheamus2: Also, if by great performers you mean worthless hacks, then sure.

The sooner they start to team properly the better because I want to see it even though i've no doubts Tensai could have been a decent uppercard heel if the booking of him was totally Blue and eratic.

People complaining that they'd rather see these guys as monsters... if all the big guys were "monsters", the effect wouldn't have much impact.

The fact that there's some of these guys as comedy faces makes it all the more shocking when they "snap" and crush a babyface favourite to turn heel. If they were always heel monsters, it wouldn't be anywhere as shocking because you'd be so accustomed to seeing it.

It also breaks up the monotony to have some comedy. I know some people hate too much comedy, but it could be argued that it's a vital facet of WWE programming because it just mixes things up. 3 hours of non-stop seriousness would grow old quickly.

Keep these guys dancing like goofballs, entertaining the kids etc, and then when they inevitably turn, it'll be all the more impactful.

Seems a bit odd to be honest, but I'm not completely against it...anything > Khali doing "comedy".

But if we're talking purely for the purposes of comic relief, I don't mind 3MB, for some reason I think those guys are really funny. (I know most will disagree, I saw a 3MB hate thread not too long ago on the forums.)

I like it so far, went over a lot better than I thought it would. Between these guys and 3MB (who I'm also a fan of), I think we have some good comedy relief going, hopefully we can phase out this stupid Khali/Nattie/Hornswoggle thing now.

Brodus Clay is like a guilty pleasure for me. I love the gimmick, the character, and he always entertains me. I've found myself really enjoying this pairing right now.

I was going to state an actual opinion on this team forming until I read Captain Charisma say Tensai isn't a good wrestler. I just started laughing and now I can't think straight.

Think he is a very improved wrestler due to his experience in Japan. Find it odd that you pick on his in ring skills when he is paired with rubbish like Clay.

Not a fan of this team at all. These two could be a good team but Brodus would need to have his old gimmick back. Like this they're just two goofy big guys but it looks like they don't have a problem with it.
