I dare WWE to put Austin and Hogan in the same building. Hogan would get the bigger pop from the crowd.

I honestly doubt that Hogan would get a bigger pop from the crowd tbh.

Hulk Hogan would blow the roof off the arena. I also have nothing against Steve Austin. Hulk Hogan is pro wrestling.

Hulk Hogan would get a quick pop. Rip his shirt off. Say brother. Austin will get pops the whole night

Hulk Hogan is the biggest star in WWE history.

...and...Austin is arguebly the second. Plus Austin didn't jump ship to the rival company

I don't think that their is an arguement of Austin being the second biggest star in WWE history. If anything a case for him being the #1 name is certainly applicable. I am sure if you ask any non-wrestling fan who a pro wrestler is two of the most common names would be Austin and Hogan, maybe even The Rock.

If you weren't a wrestling fan, you would not know Austin most likely. Hulk Hogan is one of the biggest stars in the world, Austin is barely known outside of the wrestling world.

I'm going to say it again. I dare WWE to put Austin and Hogan in the same arena. Hogan would get the biggest pop. I remember when he went to Canada one night. They kept cheering so loud and wouldn't even let him talk. Steve Austin would never that kind of response from the crowd.

All this love for Hogan and yet his in ring return on the wrestling show that he basically runs gets a 0.98 rating? Dosent sound like one of the biggest stars in the world to me.

Raws rating next week will be a 3.5 or higher. And I'm not saying that'll be all because of Austin, but I guarentee that the pop he gets when the glass shatters will be louder than all of Hogans TNA entrances combined..

Also, what Austin did in his 5 years at the top is something that has and will never be repeated. He saved a company almost single handely. And he helped start a generation of kids who just stopped giving a fuck. He was the most influencial figure in wrestling history. All Hogan did was something similar to what John Cena is doing now. Build a really young, strong fan base and take that with him inside and outside of pro wrestling.
