Why don't you make an argument as to who is then instead of simply stating that you disagree with me.

There is no need for an argument. I know Steve Austin isn't the most influential figure in pro wrestling history.

Judging by your responces you don't know much about pro wrestling. Or at least the history of it. Who do you think the most influencial figure is? Hornswaggle? Jesse Neal? The Nasty Boyz?

I'm going to say it again. I dare WWE to put Austin and Hogan in the same arena. Hogan would get the biggest pop. I remember when he went to Canada one night. They kept cheering so loud and wouldn't even let him talk. Steve Austin would never that kind of response from the crowd.

The hall of fame begs to differ WHAT !

It depends on what you mean by influence. Those names above haven't made any huge impact in wrestling. They are lucky to even be in the business.

Thanks LKP. And J, Yea, I was being sarcastic.. but influencial meaning someone who made you want to do the things that you saw them do, someone who had a huge effect on your personal opinions on what the wrestling buisness was all about. No one did that better than Austin. He made me and many other kids want to rebel against the 'man' and show no respect to no one. His catch phrase Don't Trust Anyone is something that I still live by to this day.

^^^ Me also dude
I always wanted to kick my boss's ass. Austins fault. But Austin was also a damn good guy to get you involved in that he was doing.

I'd rank Hogan and Flair over Austin as being the most influential wrestlers of all time. Steve Austin was even influenced by Ric Flair. He wanted Flair to induct him in the Hall Of Fame. I don't know many wrestlers that aren't influenced by Ric Flair.

I doubt that you actually know any wrestlers at all. But besides the point..

I'm not saying that Austin influenced the most amount of other wrestlers, only the youngest generation of wrestlers would even be allowed to say such a thing anyway. This whole thing was about who influenced the wrestling fan base the most. And I don't know but I don't recall seeing many people walk around with slicked back blonde hair and a glittery bath robe on ever.

I guess its just a matter of opinion Mister J. But all I know is that id rather be influenced by a guy who drinks beer, flips people off, and breaks the rules as much as possible over someone who makes their man titties bounce after ripping off their shirt and looks like father time on roids.

Hulk Hogan & Ric Flair

Yes they did indeed. And so did Austin. So did the Rock. Granted they may not have been as big influential wise, As lets Hogan, Flair, But non the less Austin and the like influenced people too.
