Arrow (& Flash) Discussion Thread

I have a feeling they will have Grodd be Season 2's primary villain, with him mind controlling Eddie for the first part for some more added drama where Barry has to try and figure out whether he can truly save Eddie.

All of the Rogues that Barry has pissed off coming for him at the end would be epic, and I wonder if that will tie into Wells' master plan (if he even has one).

IMO, Arrow season 1 was so good because of the strong emphasis on the epic flashbacks, Oliver becoming the Arrow in Starling and The List, and the fact that his archery and killing skills were over 9000. Flash is quickly becoming so good that it will probably overtake it for me, although Barry hasn't gotten as many chicks this season as Oliver did in his first season. :heenan:

Green Arrow is my all time favorite non-metahuman and Flash is in my top 5 for metahumans in the DC world soo it's a tough call for me, they'll be the best of each of their kinds for awhile.. Arrow deals more with the non-metahuman side mainly mixed with a little "technological advancements".. Flash will be the better show that deals with straight superhuman abilities. Either way I'm happy I'm in this age where these two shows are airing.

Flash was pretty solid tonight! Good to see Wentworth Miller & Dominic Purcell as the Rogues again, always interesting when they're around.. Mark Hamill as the Trickster for next episode from what the previews were showing.

Why is Will Smith going to be Deadshot in the Suicide Squad movie.. Michael Rowe is an awesome Deadshot already.. Oh and Arrow was good this week! always good to see the Suicide Squad in action.

The whole "Let's do 2 separate universes!" is a bit annoying, I love Marvel's way of having everything connect. IMO, Grant Gustin and Stephen Amell are the Flash and Arrow, and nothing can ever change that for me. Deadshot in this TV show needs to return for the HIVE storyline, possibly next season, too.

Also, I wonder if Arrow will really pick up the pace in the next few episodes with Ra's supposedly in town.

Mark Hamill was great. I've always been kind of disappointed we didn't get to see him do a Joker role IRL instead of just the rockin voice overs and I suppose that will be the closest I ever get.

Just watched Arrow, it was decent, more story related scenes than action.

Both shows had great episodes this week.. Really enjoyed Mark Hamill as Trickster and the intensity in Arrow was really good.

Arrow was better this week.

Colton Haynes AKA Roy Harper will be leaving Arrow as a series regular, his contract was only for two seasons or an estimated 40 episodes.. he's had several other TV pilot offers as well as a role in 'San Andreas' w/ 'The Rock'.. He's done a helluva job and earned a lot of respect coming out of Teen Wolf and it's not a bad time to let him go now they can focus on Green Arrow & Black Canary for Ssn 4.

Brandon Routh is an awful actor IMO HOWEVER he played Ray Palmer so fucking perfectly it's unbelievable to me.. Him and Cisco are awesome together, they should really just spin-off into an ATOM & the Vibe show as their 3rd show

Yeah, I understand that. It just hit me hard while watching it and I posted 5 minutes after watching so I was still emotional lol.

I agree that Routh is not the greatest but I am also pleased with his performance as Atom. I also agree it was fun watching he and Cisco together.
