and we only heard about him wanting his release like last week - from MLW who framed it as such. isn't it equally as possible they stopped booking him and he's like he what gives, if you won't book me, release me.He dropped the belt about 100 days ago. He hasn’t been booked since.
in either case, asking for a release in a respectful manner (assuming this is the case) is not grounds to stop using someone. you can still make money of this dude, so there isn't a whole lot of logic behind not using him unless he is also refusing to work, which has not been implied or reported anywhere. I'm sorry but that's not good business sense nor is it how you retain talent.
