I would wanna leave too if they were pushing other guys and more importantly one of my ex stable mates was the face of the second biggest company in the world. But contracts to be contracts though so yeah, gonna have to figure out a solution. if a company doesn't have a cut policy like wwe, i think its probably fair they dont often grant releases, too. Interesting situation since its not a lack of booking issue

He hasn’t been booked since he dropped the title. Presumably because that’s when he asked to be released. It’s hard to say how he’d be booked if he didn’t want to leave. I doubt he’d just not be booked well. Even Jacob Fatu was National Champion for a bit and just had a top match with Suzuki.

I agree about wanting to be with your stablemate, but to be fair to MLW MJF was already being groomed for the top when Hammer signed that new 4-year deal.

I can see both sides and if they can work it out, I’m happy for Hammer, but I also don’t think it’ll hurt him if he has to work out 2024 for MLW. He’ll still be a prospect in 2025.

I hope they can resolve this since they were like peanut butter and jelly at one point, but I will say hammer’s probably not helping his situation by constantly coming to the Internet with what’s going on.

u should listen to the video - I think he has every right to be open with his fans. especially when MLW kind of made him look like the asshole when they spoke to the sheets

I think they both look really bad in the situation, but I think the problem here is we’re only hearing one side. If his side of the story is accurate, then yeah Court needs to be a man and pick up the phone and talk to Hammer and let him know how he feels and what they’re going to be planning on doing because he’s got to communicate what’s going on, but like it’s not like hammer was winding down at the end of his contract he was dead smack in the middle of it as it was supposed to run until 2025. I get talent sometimes just choose they wanna go somewhere else but I mean contracts are useless if you can just choose when you want to go.

I did. I think making the company look bad isn’t gonna help them decide to release you when they don’t have to. I agree ghosting is childish, but he’s still also an asshole if he asked for a release halfway through his deal because he was asked to drop the belt after 600 days. It’s just a dumb situation all around, imo.

eh, I don't believe people should just take shit and sit there quietly - he was respectful and honest, I have no issue with it.

I dont see how he looks bad at all in this tbh, people are allowed to ask for their release and companies are within their rights to say no. if they are ghosting him and refusing to book him for asking, then yeah, he's kind of allowed to tell his fans in respectful ways. certainly more respectful than the stuff MLW put out about him imo. hes also made a lot of tweets where he praised his time there. so ya agree to disagree here, Hammerstone is not in the wrong here imo at all

We think he’s honest, but we haven’t heard the other side.

Either way, my point is he’s asking for a legal courtesy and going to the public could backfire for him.
