You can't call bad faith arguments when you are doing the same. New tv deals are a sign the company is growing because where does most of the money come from? TV. Their biggest pay check will come from the network resigning them so if they get more TV they are likely growing.
None of us know their finances. Is TK perfect? Fuck no. But acting like AEW isn't growing and doing well is false imo. Could they do better? Yes. Are they failing? God no. And I'm pretty sure when TV deal time comes around, they will be getting a lot more money. Most starts up also struggle to make profit early on
Believe me, I know all too well how difficult it is to make money as a start up. Then again, I also didn't have the backing of a billionaire father when I started my business, so in a way I'm probably just jealous of Tony for being richer than I am. On the flip side, I think I can drink out of a water bottle more normally than him, so who's the real winner eh?
I do think the addition of the reality show is a sign that they're probably going to come out ok in the next round of television negotiations, which I do agree is the clearest indicator of their growth. We shall see how things shake out whenever that's finished, which I imagine should be soon considering the deal expires this year. I believe they're pulling 40+ million from WBD at the moment, so anything above that can only be seen as a win.
I also wasn't calling anything the other guy with the cool name was saying a "bad faith argument". I was just trying to say that my original intention here was not to be arguing in bad faith, or to concern troll (that term sucks and should be retired immediately) but rather to address concerns I had over Tony trying to take on too much responsibility and how that may affect the operation of the business. That's really all it was. No hidden agenda.
