Exactly. And that will be strictly enforced. Like right after you make a post you can edit it like say you forgot to bold a part, italicize a part, color a part, little edit here and there. I mean yeah those little minor things. But to edit after someone posts... oh hell no that is cheating for sure. And pretty much will result in an automatic loss because pretty much what you are doing is you write, wait for your opponent to write and then redo your RP so it fits in with what the other person did. It isn't right.

Yeah, that's what Pete meant. Just editing, not rewriting or adding on.

I'm sorry, where we come from we never had to deal with that stuff. We're spoiled. The whole crew of rpers were in it for the fun and just wanted to add to the show. That's what I want here. If you have to worry about dirty tricks...yeah, I understand, just not used to it!

That's the whole piggybacking problem right there that comes from the single thread.

I usually go through my RP, and correct grammar mistakes, typos, coding errors, sometimes add a sentence for effect, but I NEVER rework ANYTHING I've posted. Usually because when I post it, it is EXACTLY the way I wanted/envisioned it to be.

What the opponent said in the meantime can be dealt with in (again!) the next RP or two.

And man, yoiu guys must have some bad experiences...lol. Like Beedz said, we're not used to people flaming us on Facebook, publically, or cheating to win. We were pretty open, a pretty close-knit group of guys. Nearly everyone from ITR/PWA has nearly everyone else on both Facebook AND MSN. I am not used to the level of defensiveness I've seen here so far. Maybe it's because we were so few, and got to know each other pretty well.. I can see how it would happen on a bigger fed, though.

Not dissing this fed, mind you. Just analysing it, 'cause it's curious to me...it's kind of new to have people openly not trust each other on a forum.

I've not had these issues in this fed. But I have had issues in previous feds someone wants a win that bad that they go in and they edit things. If I edit all my grammar after both RPers reached the cap is that fair? what if the only thing giving him the win was grammar cause we both did that great?

I love that you guys came from a place of pure Nirvana but this is an open forum and an open fed where people that you don't know I don't know can join an nobody can predict the problems they may bring so wouldn't it be best to have the rules in place now instead of trying to discipline them after the fact?

LOL I never said we came from Nirvana, just that it was different and I wasn't used to it! See what I said about defensiveness?! I'm not bloody trying to offend you, I'm just comparing experiences!

And I should have made it clear that I correct grammar and stuff on the first ten minutes after the RP was posted. After that, even if I see a coding mistake or a typo, it's fair game, for the exact reasons you stated.

To an extent, it is kind of fair. I say "kind of," very lightly. Your opponent has as much of an opportunity to edit his roleplay as you do in that scenario. If the only thing giving him the win before your roleplays were edited was grammar, then it means he has a lot of things to work on.

There should, however, be a 24-hour rule, which disables you from editing your roleplay at the risk of being DQ'ed.

Well... I passed out for a couple hours but I'm back and... ummm yeah I agree with a lot... I think. Sorta... I dunno what I'm saying...

But as far as editing goes... It just seems like common courtesy ya know to not edit. I mean right after you post you might notice a coding error, a grammar error, or something which yeah you'd want to fix it which is aight cause I've done that a few times as well. But... after a few minutes you should already have had enough time to correct your stuff and don't need 24 hours... I mean really if you need that much time to edit... chances are you probably shouldn't of even posted it. But... yeah it'll be figured out how long you need.

I mean not that I've had to deal with that sorta problem before but clarification is always good to have and we're gonna have clarification on the editing thing.

Only reason I take so long in roleplaying, is I usually write in a day. Usually on my days off where I am not distracted by anything. Those are too few and far between. I have been slowly working on my first RP which is either set to drop tonight, or tomorrow, along with my second one which I really hope to drop tomorrow also, as I have tomorrow off. I don't give a shit if someone didn't reach their cap, I'm going to fill my cap! Beat your ass, and move on to my next opponent..... Bitch.

Over the last few days I've been thinking a lot about my future here and I think I'm done. I've never seen a fed that went from promising to ass backwards in a matter of weeks but that is what has happened here. If I ever went around like these PWA guys did at first proclaiming how great there fed was and how great they were there in any e-fed I've joined I would have been laughed at and ridiculed. Seriously, I would have just been told to shut and RP and prove myself. It was like you guys were entitled to your spots even if the ACW crowd had no idea who guys were. Maybe it would help if I could study your history but with ITR gone I can't. Yet you all seem to be above this. Not only do I feel PWA has got way too much recognition looking at the current staff, it's like the ACW side has to establish itself again. We just formed what 2 months ago? So why are we the ones that have re-establish ourselves on our own site to people we don't know? It doesn't make sense and it's just doesn't seem fair. The format right now is the complete opposite of every e-fed I've ever been on. Over a decade of rebuilding myself on every site I have gone to and I never got special treatment. I just don't get it...

I have no problems with BDC or Pete but I'm sure they'll retort that I'm wrong or something. This thing just completely flipped flop.

On top of this I did finish one RP for the upcoming show, I'm just not going to post it. I had Mercy & Indiana go to an impound lot to pick up Mercy's car that got towed in my last RP. Hilarious stuff.

3 or 4 ACW originals left...

We've just lost another great RPer.

It was mostly Andy saying that, I really enjoy ACW, and I LOVED Mercy & Indianna, I really hope you somehow change your mind, but I won't press you too much. Shame really, I was going to bring in a tag team to hopefully feud with you. :Smiley_DAMN:
