Really? A 2 rp cap is too much for you? ok...

I did that this week to everybody because we had a freakin week and a half!!!! BUT everybody is so insecure in their rping that they wait last minute to rp. Oh, someone might piggy back? Really? I put the best rp I can for the moment. If I lose to better quality, fine. But I'm not gonna hide in the shadows and wait for my opponent to rp so I can squeak a win by bettering them. Believe in your ability and RP, for cripes sake!! And I posted ...at the bottom of the card (you know that part apparently no body reads) that if you have issues with the cap...let me know. We ARE flexible.

It does separate the main eventers from the rabble. And, if someone makes the cap and the other guys slacks, he should win...period. How about don't' be lazy and just make the cap? Sorry I'm sounding belligerent (cause, if you know me, I'm not), but sheesh. It's NOT THAT HARD. I personally want to know all I can about your character. It builds the show. WHICH IS THE POINT TO ME. The more I know about your character, the more I can build him or her on the show.

And I would rather have a couple of concise, well written and organized rps than one jumbled mess that has no point other than to tell us the play by play of the character's life. I try to make my rps have a point. They say something about my character and his opponents. They loop everything back to the match. Not just...hey, I had a sandwich and then it's the next day and I tried to kill some guy. IDK, I'm probably being too harsh.

How about we do this, because I really don't want a lot of ranting and crap on the discussion. PM me and let me know how you feel about the subject and the Staff will get together and make a decision, ok?

PERSONAL NOTE: I am guilty this week of not Rping till today. This is not because I'm jockeying for position, but because I became rather busy on the first week. That is the only reason I see that someone could be against the cap. Just send me your thoughts. I'm going to personally be doing SIX rps between here and Friday. I wont' wait around to the last minute. I won't be playing the game here. I will shoot them straight and let the wins or loses fall where they may.

BDC = the literal shit. Best thing I've seen written in this thread.

Exactly. And if you've only been for one thing this entire time, Slim, I'm glad it was for raising caps. lol.

Kind of sad that no one's posted roleplays ('cept Pete & Lewb) for the International match. Hoping to have mine up soon to shed some light on the situation.

Most people here leave everything for last minute. Another thing multiple-RP caps help with, and that I, at least, would like to see change.

What do you mean?

Would you want a 24-hour rule?

No, I'd just like people to feel motivated not to leave everything for last minute. I become inspired as soon as the card drops. But it's fine, everybody's different.

I'm not one of those people that waits until the last minute but I can see why they sometimes do it. You write something wait a few days reread it edit it a tad. wait reread it etc it also allows you to add details from your opponents rps or pick up GRAMMAR mistakes. Like I said I don't do it but I see why someone would.

That can always be done once the roleplay has been posted though.

No it can't we have a non editing RP's rule last i checked.

What happens if I rp then my opponent does so I go back in and put in more on my rp or change it around. No editing rps once posted should not be allowed. Should be an automatic loss

Exactly. And that will be strictly enforced. Like right after you make a post you can edit it like say you forgot to bold a part, italicize a part, color a part, little edit here and there. I mean yeah those little minor things. But to edit after someone posts... oh hell no that is cheating for sure. And pretty much will result in an automatic loss because pretty much what you are doing is you write, wait for your opponent to write and then redo your RP so it fits in with what the other person did. It isn't right.
