Just throwing it out there. I think a little spring cleaning may help the place. I'd also consider an Battlezone Archive section so only the current weeks RPs are in the Battle Zone but I'm pretty sure that's an Admin thing.

I know I am...lol.

I completely agree with the creation of an Archive in the Battle Zone, we had one in the PWA and it was very handy. Maybe just leave the current show and the show before that, so that people who need to refer back for storylines can do so easily.

I still say there should be separate threads for RP's. Personally, putting them all in one messes me all up for some reason.. Especially when I'm doing formating and start reading the other persons rp.

That one... can't do. I mean think about it in this case we have a 10 person battle royal, 2rp cap. That is a maximum of 20 different threads for that one match, and that's not even including the triple threat matches, 6 man tags, so we'd have a ton of threads just for this one card. That would be very hard to keep up with plus it'd be easy to miss a thread for grading cause there are so many to have to go through.

Meh. I'd have to agree with PY. on this one. A 10-person Battle Royal at 2 RPs per person is nothing, especially with all of the other matches included too.

For example, this was the last card we ever put up for PWA:

Opening Bout:
Match Type: Singles
Stipulation: N/A
Time Limit: 10 Mins (1 RP Cap)
Division: N/A
El Loko (w/Wisecrack) vs. Emon Ster

Second Bout:
Match Type: Singles
Stipulation: N/A
Time Limit: 20 Mins (2 RP Cap)
Division: N/A
"Ice Cold" Ricky White (w/Jimi James White) vs. DJ Bratt

Third Bout:
Match Type: Singles
Stipulation:
If Sanders wins, Collins is no longer the VP of Talent Relations.
Time Limit: 20 Mins (2 RP Cap)
Division: N/A
Andrew Sanders vs. Daniel Collins

Fourth Bout: The Diamondback is Back...With a Vengeance
Match Type: Singles
Stipulation: N/A
Time Limit: 30 Mins (3 RP Cap)
Division: N/A
Sicc Nick vs. Rampage

Fifth Bout: Second Chances Only Come Once
Match Type: Steel Cage
Stipulation: PWA International Championship
Time Limit: 40 Mins (4 RP Cap)
Division: International
Jack Ripper vs. Alex Star vs. Kaval

Sixth Bout: Steel Stars
Match Type: Elimination Chamber
Stipulation: PWA Tag Team Championships
Time Limit: 40 Mins (4 RP Cap Per Team)
Division: Tag Team
The Brothers of Steel © vs. Starrdom Nation vs. The Dragons

Semi-Main Event: The Crusades: Knights, Prophets, & Christians
Match Type: Elimination Chamber
Stipulation: PWA UnsanXioned Championship
Time Limit: 50 Mins (5 RP Cap)
Division: UnsanXioned
Shaun Knight © vs. Barry Jones vs. Andrew Sanders vs. Abram Vance vs. Christian Daniels vs. Vincent Ballinger

Main Event: Rowdy Roulette
Match Type: Elimination Chamber
Stipulation: PWA Undisputed Championship
If Pesinger wins, Ted DiBiase gets a rematch and Stevie is still due one.
If DiBiase wins, Pesinger has a ticket to Mania and Stevie is due a rematch.
If Stevie wins, Pesinger has a ticket to Mania and DiBiase will have his rematch clause.
If anyone else wins, who knows?
Time Limit: 60 Mins (6 RP Cap)
Division: Undisputed
Max Knight vs. Stevie Starr vs. Ted DiBiase © vs. ??? vs. Alex Star vs. Darren Pesinger

That's 106 roleplays right there and usually we had everyone meet their caps. We had the results up within the hour after the show went off, or at the latest, a day later. Rating would begin as soon as the PPV won't off air, if not before. With all of the roleplays being in one thread, things are actually slowed down since you have to wait for everyone to post their roleplay in said thread before the show goes off-air. With seperate threads, roleplays could be rated before the show went off-air (at the earliest, maybe a day before it went off-air). It sure as hell helped for us to keep things on time. The easiest way for a person to not miss a roleplay while rating is for said rater to lock a thread after they've rated it and keep the "score," on a wordpad, notepad, or sticky note (obviously I'm talking about the programs). Once locked, the roleplay could be moved to the archives.

In short, it makes things easier and more timely, because it allows for rating to begin before the show goess off-air.

Pete and BDC can attest to this.

LOL.

It's one thing to make a point (and yeah, it did happen that way with the rating), it's another to tell fibs, Andy...

Plus we only wrote results spottily, when you or Nick could be bothered. You know that, too.

I agree that for the 10 man battle royal it's not ideal, but it's a valid way to do things. We could make separate threads and label them, like we did in the PWA (i.e. "Jacqui M RP #1), which massively helped with organisation. But I no longer mind this method of doing things.

Think the current system is fine, having to look through 10 match threads seems a lot easier than looking though a 50 individual RP threads.

Hey, lol, it's not a fib. You (and sometimes RRS) were pretty much the only ones that didn't meet all of your caps, because of your like 8 characters. However, before you started accumulating all of them and around the time we had a large roster of active roleplays, yeah, pretty much everyone met their cap.

And Pete, I don't mean actual results. I just mean a recap. Real results could be written during the week.

What's the big deal about a bunch of threads?

It won't be hard to handle when:

A. The Archive section will probably be up soon.
B. The newer posts will be bold and judges don't have to read them until its judging time.

It's just a personal preference of course since I kinda feel the need to name my RP's, and it's easier for me to access prior stuff to keep my character development flowing.

I'd say around THIS time of THIS card, Shaun and BDC (and occasionally yourself) were the only ones meeting their caps. Half the characters were drones. the other half were mine (it's not easy to meet 20-plus RP caps) or BDC's.

I agree about the heyday of the fed, but this isn't the heyday of the fed. So it kind of is a fib.

Not really. It was just an example to display the amount of roleplays I would rate with Chris, Claressa, Nick, or BDC on a weekly basis.

None of them were drones either, unless you consider BDC's characters as dbproject drones.
