It's been said publicly that they want to sit Bortles after the Gabbert experiment blew up in their faces. Throwing Gabbert into the fire was why he busted according to the GM, but according to common sense it's because Gabbert was as inept as the entire rest of the Jaguars franchise.

Either way their 2 biggest issues last year (QB and pass rush) seem improved so maybe they can make a run?

Randle doesn't play the slot, he plays the outside, and Eli hates throwing it to the outside. He sticks in the middle of the field. Cruz, Jernigan, Manningham, Beckham will get more looks running slants etc.
