  • All good, I got your point originally about not wanting to eat up everything Rock was saying just think you were starting to go a little over the edge there so just wanted to put a stop to it before it went too far.
I don't mind that too much, cause if they're gonna do the same city, I'd rather they make it fresh and to reflect the game's atmosphere.

Nah, I don't see where you're coming from on the look, looks completely normal to me. Plus, the fact that she's looking at him the entire time detracts from that even more.
I agree, I don't want to go back to LA. I wanted to have a high def Vice City, looking exactly like it did in the 80's. I'm not necessarily saying I want the original Vice City game re-done with GTA IV graphics (ok, I am saying I want that, because that would be fucking legen...wait for it...dary!), I just want a new game done in that location, with what Vice City looked like in 2002. Obviously a modern day Miami would look quite different. All I'll say about that is, if they do a modern Vice City, they HAVE to throw in a Dexter reference. But yeah, cities change looks, so basically they are saying it looks different now. San Andreas was set in like 1991, so we're in full blown West Coast thug life Tupac gangsta city looking mode. Gangs still exist but the culture isn't anywhere near as prevelant today. Hell, in GTA IV, Liberty City was a completely different city to GTA III.
Yeah, they seem like they're going through a lot of money for it. I'm sure Rockstar is gonna spend more money than them hyping GTA V, though. I just hope it doesn't come out in 2012 like it's rumored it will, because if it does, it gets GOTY automatically even though ME 3 will be 10x better even at its worst (think 2010 ~_~). They might as well not even bother having nominees.

I never talked to Liara much so I don't really know, I usually always got her late in the game, and when I first played it, I didn't even know where she was. The few times I did talk to her, I was a Renegade and the only thing I remembered was Shepard being a total, unreasonable asshole to her. If you can find a video of him talking to her that shows him walking up to her, I'll see it and make a judgment, I guess.
Man, what's with all the fucking live action stuff? They really love live action promos for this game. I don't know if it's to make it seem more real since they're going to Earth, but it seems excessive. It's beautifully done, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't really have that Mass Effect feel for me. I guess I'm just too comfortable seeing it as a game, so it seems a little out of place, however good it is.

If that's the N7 computer gear you're talking about, then I hadn't seen it before you brought it up and I Googled it.
Yeah, Kirahee shocked me. I was like "damn, Mordin said he died, what happened" then they didn't explain it, lol. I guess that's for the main game, and rightfully so. For now, it's just good suspense.

Well, I just don't do PC. Every PC gamer claims PC is superior to the consoles, and honestly, it probably is. I know I see PC modding that I've never seen before, I've seen Shepard's model as a duplicate of Legion, and shit like that. I'm just not good with PC games and I'm not willing to go through the learning curve, especially for a game I've already explored more times than I can count. I'm just over it. I love the game but it's starting to feel like a chore. I'm passionate about it, but like anything, repetition dulls your senses to it.
Oh, I played the whole thing. I think I know who you're referring to. You can discuss it with me as much as you want.

Sucks that you're having trouble with the PC version. Me, I don't touch PC gaming, never have, never will.
