Tweeking Cena's chatacter would be like plugging one leak in the boat when there is 5 leaks still spewing.

The boat needs an entire new bottom.

WWE will have to transition from PG, to TV 14 this year. While 2013 needs to ease in to TV MA. They have lost veiwers B/C they are not growing with the audience they cultivated in 2005. Those 7, 8 and 9, year olds who came in with the rise of Cena, are now 14, 15, and 16.

WCW lost the 14, 15, and 16 year old veiwers to WWE trough out 98, 99, and 00.

WWE is just losing them to no body. Which is dangerous B/C there is no clear path to get them back W/O going TV MA

Monday's edition of WWE Raw finished with a 3.55 rating, which is up from the previous week's 3.18 draw.

Monday's Raw was the post-Royal Rumble edition of the show, which should explain the great increase from last week's number.

I could only see the ratings going up from this point heading into Mania.

Very true, its a good sign when the night after the Rumble you get an instant significant jump. Some assumed they would indeed lose ratings based on the Rumble the night before.

- The post-Royal Rumble WWE RAW Supershow did a 3.6 cable rating with 5,221,000 viewers. This week's show did hours of 3.6 and 3.6. However, the bad trend continued as they lost 194,000 viewers from hour one to hour two.
In fairness i'd say that's a pretty great rating as PPV fallout shows don't usually generate this much of a leap I believe? Granted it's the Mania season..

Good rating and I expect it to continue during the RTWM and especially with The Rock appearing not too far from now, I wanna see the detailed ratings and see if CM Punk vs Daniel Bryan gained or lost viewers.

According to early reports (though the sites aren't quite reliable) the second hour, which is where the match began actually gained viewers.

The January 30th RAW Supershow did a 3.55 cable rating and 5.21 million viewers. This was the most-watched RAW since May 23rd, 2011.

In the segment breakdown, the opener did a 3.90 quarter-rating. Randy Orton vs. Dolph Ziggler lost 580,000 viewers while Tyler Reks vs. Brodus Clay lost 166,000 viewers. CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan gained 219,000 viewers to a 3.54 quarter-rating. This gain is actually a weak gain for that time slot.

The Miz vs. Kofi Kingston lost 231,000 viewers while The Rock's video lost 329,000. Eve Torres vs. Beth Phoenix and the Kane vs. John Cena brawl gained 325,000 viewers. The segment with Triple H, John Laurinaitis and The Undertaker gained 753,000 viewers.

B/C I'm hitting on 5 or 6 points that I want to get out, and not cloud it in my business and financial analysis, which you are waiting to infract me on. I have been scorned for educating posters on how public companies work, so I am trying to remain simple so people wont get mad at me being the smartest guy in the room.

This makes me laugh a lot. Thought it would of gained a little.

Ok if WWE want to increase their ratings then they need to do the following:

1.Stop pushing these muscle heads who are too green to even wipe my ass (Mason Ryan, Ezekial Jackson).

2.Cena has to stop being superman he needs to stop being all smiley even Hogan and Rock were serious from time to time.

3.Randy Orton has to stop getting hissy fits and stop burying he's opponents.

4.Those who can talk need more freedom in their speech because at the moment the promo guys are Punk, Cena, Orton, Kane, Show, Miz, Jericho, Sheamus, Henry, Christian and Ziggler. The rest some of the others need to be able to develop because if they can develop they will be able to get over so the likes of Riley, Ryder, Kingston, Swagger and Del Rio need to develop their skills.

5. Stop using the older guys in the main events or in a main story Kevin Nash, Undertaker and Triple H will not save the WWE Kevin Nash in particular will be a ratings killer.

6. Remove Micheal Cole from the Announcers Booth and put him in a feud with someone he can be the guy who someone gets to destroy every year like McMahon was.

7. Don't let Jerry Lawler wrestle anymore I like Jerry but he's taking up a spot that should be used for the likes of Kofi or Cody.

8. Bring back JR he may have lost a step or 2 but he's still the best commentator WWE have got if they won't bring him back then try to bring the coach back as he was pretty good in my view.

1. Neither guy is really being pushed.
2. Cena has not been Superman in the Kane feud
3. Orton hasn't buried anyone in a long time, he's going back and forth with Barrett
4. 11 guys cutting promos is plenty and how are Del Rio and Ryder not getting promo time.
5. Older guys have been limited Nash was very a short program, Undertaker should be built up for mania, and Trips comes and goes
6. First point that is decent
7. Jerry hasn't wrestled a 1 on 1 match in Months
8. Take or Leave it

So since 6 of these 8 are not currently happening, how would making these changes increase ratings?

That is a really good rating for RAW, really impressed by the opening rating which was 3.9. Viewers must have tuned in to see who won the Rumble and then they turned out once they found out who it was. Should be able to build from here and hitting at least one 4.0 rating for RAW before WM28 is a must.

I figured there would be a decent gain with the Taker Return, but over 700,000 is quite the gain! Undertaker can still turn heads.
