I know the name of Dutch Mantel that's about it, but that promo was kinda cool last night. Felt like it was right on the edge of being a bit risky with the talk of border hopping or however he phrased it.

But. I still have nothing against the guy, and tbh I even kind of like him in some ways, but as The Cork re-iterated my point, there's only so much you can push down a guy until eventually there's no hope for any kind of return. This whole pissed off Swagger thing just seems like a sloppy attempt to redeem him, and the thing is it seems like way too little, too late.

Those two gifs make it kind of hard for me to believe that guy has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

That was Chavo's most successful time in the WWE, post-Eddie.

Hey! The Swagger Soaring Eagle with freaking comedic gold. I've always been a fan of Swagger doing his little run around the ring.

Anyways, I'm scared that it is a little too late, but I'm sure every one thought that with Mark Henry, and he was part of a lot more goofy segments then anything Swaggers done. If they really commit to it, they can redeem him. And having him as a pissed off American could do that.

Never said I had anything against the guy, he's a pot of gold compared to some other stars, say E. Jackson...or Khali. I even found myself chuckling to that thing too, but it's just too goofy for a main event level guy, but I guess he won't be doing that anymore given that he's gone all serious face ala Randy Orton @ Judgement Day 08'. That was the PPV debut of Voices. Something just changed that day..specifically the look on his face. I got the same feeling after seeing Swagger return. Not at that level, but still.

I think a good way to get Swagger over with people is have him team with Cesaro a month or two. Then have Cesaro cut a promo how no America can beat him and have Swagger snap and beat down Cesaro getting disqualified in a few matches. Leading up to a cage match where Swagger beats Cesaro for the US title and heres the thing keep Swagger heel the whole time.

Wouldn't work as in that situation the fans would literally turn Swagger into the face. Heel Swagger vs Heel Cesaro just sounds...weird.

Do you guys think they'll silence or neuter Dutch Mantel from making promos like this once the activism and civil liberties groups threaten a boycott? I'm just thinking worst case scenario. The WWE ignored the ACLU and Latino groups that whined about the JBL: Mexican Border Hunter storyline versus Eddie Guerrero, so perhaps they'll just let the angle ride.

Well, it wasn't THAT offensive, it was just him basically saying that he's upset with the direction the country is going in just like Swagger said he was upset with the direction the WWE was taking.

This actually doesn't sound bad looking at it now with Mantel as a mouthpiece, considering Cesaro has his ideas on what's "wrong" with America as well.
