Well they died long ago, but symbolically, referring to it as the "knockouts ladies championship" was pretty much it. The marketed division is four identical bleachblondes and a former diva, and that's it. They're just glorified divas now.

Couldn't disagree more. The Knockouts used to get 1.3s and 1.4s back when TNA was barely pulling a 1.0. They were booked amazingly and, frankly, WERE the show. Today, they're the bathroom break.

I said MARKETED division. Which at this point would be four carbon copies, only one of which has any discernible talent, and two ex divas well past their prime and with only partial interest in the business anymore. And the talent part is they key. Angelina is the only one of the blondes who can claim to be "wrestling" when they enter that ring and do mock combat. Honestly, if they want to turn the division into a softcore porn shoot, couldn't they at least find girls who can also wrestle decently?

Though I guess any girl who can wrestle well wouldn't touch TNA any more than they would WWE at this point.

Just because you are willing to do stupid stunts doesn't make you a good wrestler. This is why guys like Sabu, New Jack, Sandman, Jeff Hardy etc are not good wrestlers. Much like Daffney they can't get it done without the gimmick.

Daffney is a chick who occasionally takes big bumps. It would hurt like a motherfucker but I could take big bumps too. Seriously, show me one match where Daffney has exhibited any semblance of good wrestling skills and I will eat my hat.

On the topic of the Knockouts, I think it's pretty sad that over the last few months or so the Beautiful people angle with Angelina/Velvet and Madison/Tara (or whatever I stopped paying attention) was one of the most consistantly booked angles/feuds. It may not have been anything spectacular, even for a women's angle but it was atleast given one story and more or less stuck to it... Kind of sad in my opinion.

But, to be fair I haven't watched TNA nearly as often as I used too, now I am just a casual viewer.
