With that sentence, you just summed up American humour and won me the argument. US comedies lack subtlely and are aimed at shit-for-brains rednecks who need to be told when to laugh. The Office is a GOAT British comedy, don't try to criticise it.

my favorite part is how american their shit is. Oh you went to McDonalds, but we are fat? MSNBC is ripping off BBC? Sky Sports calls NFL football, but still calls your soccer bullshit "football" also?
The beauty of America is we are all immigrants, hence the difference in food between Louisiana and California, Fish and Chips is universally shitty.

Apparently we are here to convince or accept defeat, this thread became a War and we didn't realize it.
Pretty sure McDonalds is eveywhere on Earth except North Korea. Sky Sports calls it American football btw. US sports suck. There's a reason America is the only country in the entire world to play and wattch NHL/Ice hockey/Baseball etc, while the rest of the world plays football (soccer), tennis, cricket etc. It;s fucking stupid.
Even though I just said "sucks", I hate the Americanisation of British culture.
