Clips are shown from last week's XCW: FULL THROTTLE as XCW goes on air. The clips end and the camera is high above the University of Tennessee'sThompson-Boling Arena as the crowd stands and cheers loudly forthebeginning of the show. The camera pans around the arena showing fans jumping about and waving their hands in the air. The ring is set up in the center of the arena with the familiar red, blue, silver, and black XCW: Full Throttle logo on the apron.
JR: For the first time ever, XCW: Full Throttle comes to you live from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee with our largest live audience yet. Over twenty thousand fans are here at the beautiful Thompson-Boling arena as we bring you live wrestling entertainment and things are really starting to heat up around here.
King: (Sarcastically) Thanks for the great introduction, JR. Things are really getting interesting as we head toward our very first pay-per-view event, Tabula Rasa. Details as to the date and time of that event are still unknown, but we will keep you informed with the update news as soon as we get it.
JR: Sorry about that, King. What exactly is a 'Tabula Rasa' anyway?
King: I believe that is Latin for "Blank Slate' which I assume refers to the event being the very first of it's kind in XCW history. Everything is kind of blank at the moment, but I doubt things will be the same after Tabula Rasa.
JR: As we move forward, we are already starting to see championship scenes develop as the Cruiserweight Tournament is shaping up nicely with Billy Kidman, Petey Williams, and Kofi Kingston already emerging victorious in the first round and the final first round match scheduled to take place tonight between Jimmy Wang Yang and Kaz.
King: We also had an opportunity at contention-ship for the World Title last week, but Randy Orton lost to Goldberg and therefore has become the personal assistant to Mr. Eric Bischoff!
JR: Can't say I'm jealous of Randy Orton at the moment, King.
King: Not to mention, tonight is a qualifier match for the No-Limits Title between two men who have not gotten along very well since the inception of XCW: AJ Styles and MVP.
JR: And the winner of the that is guaranteed a shot in the fatal four way match that will take place at Tabula Rasa to crown the first ever No-Limits title holder.
King: Let's dive right into the action as we go to the ring for tonight's opening match between two talented high flyers, Jimmy Wang Yang versus Kaz!
MATCH 1 (Cruiserweight Championship Tournament Round 1): Kaz vs. Jimmy Wang Yang
Both men slap hands in the center of the ring as a sign of respect toward one another before locking up. Kaz quickly thrusts Yang into a side headlock before dropping to the mat on top of him and maintaining the hold. Kaz pulls back applying pressure to the head and neck. Yang twists his body around and manages to wiggle free of the hold to apply his own wrist lock behind Kaz. Yang turns Kaz's arm and Kaz's face contorts in pain before he back flips and counters the move. Yang spins around and back kicks Kaz's feet out from underneath him and goes for a pin: 1... kick-out.
Suddenly Tennessee Cowboy, James Storm bursts out onto the ramp and walks down to the broadcast booth while the match continues. He picks up a head set and forces Jim Ross to get up and find another chair to sit in as he slams a six pack of beer on the announcing table and pops one open.
JR: Um, we are joined at ring side by the Tennessee Cowboy, James Storm.
James Storm: Heya fellas! Good to be 'ere tonight.
King: Well, it's good to have you, Mr. Storm.
JR and King look at one another hesitantly and it seems very apparent that James Storm is drunk and the situation is quite awkward.
Both men in the ring rise and Kaz drives forward to be hip tossed by Wang Yang. Kaz hops up and is quickly tossed again. Kaz goes to the well a third time and this time Yang greets him with a hurricanrana that sends Kaz over the top rope! Kaz lands hard on the mat as Yang raises both fist into the air triumphantly.
James Storm: A couple weeks ago, I wass down 'ere fer a match with that punk Kaz. I whooped him good that time and he jus might git another'n tonight if I git to feelin' frisky.
JR: Mr. Storm, no offense, but has Kaz offended you in any way? Your anger seems rather unprovoked to say the least.
King: Maybe you are just angry because you are drunk and Kaz is the target of your alcoholic rage?
James Storm: I ain't drunk! How many *hic* timess do I gotta say it?
JR: Then how many fingers am I holding up?
James looks at JR intently and tries to focus on his fingers.
James Storm: Countin' thumbs?
JR isn't holding out any thumbs.
JR: Sure...
James Storm: Several. *hic*
Kaz has gotten back into the ring and both men circle one another in the middle of the ring. Yang hits a hard elbow to the jaw of Kaz and then irish whips him to the corner. Yang leaps to the second turnbuckle and begins pummeling Kaz in the head with his fists. The crowd counts each blow: 1...2...3...4...5...6...Kaz pushes Yang backwards, but Yang back flips instead to land on his feet. Yang relentlessly charges back into the corner, but Kaz flips his feet up high to catch Yang on the jaw. Kaz finally manages to get the upper hand as he lifts Yang for a scoop slam and then drops down to attempt a cover: 1...2...kick-out!
James Storm: Wass that Kaz tryin' to do? He gonna suffocate 'im if he don't get off 'im!
James Storm jumps up from the announcer's table and slides into the ring. The count is broken as Yang kicks out, but Storm doesn't seem to care as he begins pounding on Kaz with his boots. Yang rolls out of the ring and looks on angrily with his hands stretched out. The ref signals for the bell and Yang puts his hands on his head in disgust before leaving the arena to go backstage.
WINNER BY DQ FROM OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE: Kaz!
Kaz rolls away from Storm and manages to get to his feet as Storm follows attempting to cause even more damage. Kaz ducks a clothesline and manages to grab the rope and pull it down sending Storm to the mat outside the ring. It appears the brawl is going to end as Storm can't get to his feet, but Kaz bounds off the rope and leaps over the top rope landing squarely with a Tope con jillo! The crowd pops at the sight of the suicidal move and Kaz gets up with an angry glare on his face directed right at a mound of broken flesh that is a laid out James Storm before XCW goes to commercial break.
JR: My, my, King. What an opening match between Kaz and Jimmy Wang Yang. I really don't think what happened is fair to Jimmy Wang Yang as he is a very talented star and didn't have anything to do with the interference.
King: I'm just glad James Storm is gone. He smells like feet and barley.
JR: I am getting word from backstage that Mr. Bischoff has a special announcement to make regarding the XCW roster.
King: What could this be?
"Back in Black" hits the loudspeakers as Mr. Bischoff walks out onto the entrance ramp with a big smile on his face. He wears his usual black bomber jacket and jeans. He carries a microphone and is accompanied by Randy Orton wearing a 'RKO' tee and blue jeans, though a dark pair of shades covers his eyes and his head is kept down as he follows Bischoff.
JR: Mr. Bischoff....being accompanied by his new assistant, Randy Orton. And I tell you King, The Legend Killer can't be happy with his new station here in XCW.
King: Orton looks very disappointed, as if he is almost ashamed that he has to follow Bischoff around and do his dirty work. Let's see what the owner has to say here.
Bischoff tells Orton to lift the rope for Bischoff to climb under it and Orton looks back at him with a look of disbelief. Bischoff more forcefully explains to Orton to spread the ropes apart and Orton shakes his head and does so against his will. Bischoff climbs through and smiles widely as he walks into the center of the ring. Orton follows shaking his head in disgust.
Eric Bischoff: Good evening XCW fans. As you know I am Eric Bischoff, a legend in this business and this is my company, Xtreme Championship Wrestling. As the owner and head of operations around here I see it as my duty to give you, the fan, the best experience I can possibly afford. In order to do so I have made it my duty to get the best and brightest superstars in the wrestling business on my roster. A couple weeks ago I brought you one of the best lightweight competitors anywhere in the world: Billy Kidman. Tonight I continue by bringing you a heavyweight that will shake the very foundation of XCW.
JR: Who could this be?
King: Shhh, just wait and we will find out!
Eric Bischoff: This man has gone out on his own and forged an empire for himself the likes of which most men can only dream of. He is talented, intelligent, and experienced. The man I speak of is practically a wrestling god.
At the mention of 'Wrestling God' the crowd starts to boo as they realize who Bischoff is talking about.
Eric Bischoff: Ladies and gentlemen, I give to you the newest addition to the XCW:Full Throttle roster, John Bradshaw Layfield...JBL!
JBL's music hits as a large white limo pulls out into the arena. JBL steps out of the limo wearing a dark blue suit and carrying a black briefcase. He stops for a moment and crinkles his nose as if he doesn't like something he smelled and then he continues walking to the ring. He walks up the steps to the ring, and then motions for Randy Orton to open the ropes for him. Orton looks to Bischoff who motions similarly and Orton shakes his head before pulling the ropes apart.
JBL: As we discussed, here is my end of the bargain.
JBL hands the black briefcase to Bischoff who smiles from ear to ear and shakes his hand.
Eric Bischoff: Thank you so much Mr. Layfield, and welcome to XCW! Many of you may be wondering what Mr. Layfield has brought to me in this briefcase and you are going to find out...in due time. However, at this moment I have another big announcement to make.
The fans get quieter anticipating what Mr. Bischoff has to announce. Bischoff glances toward Orton with a look of disappointment before continuing on. Orton simply keeps his head down and pops his knuckles to deflect the stare.
Eric Bischoff: Since we have yet to determine a proper contention-ship for the currently vacant World Heavyweight Championship, I have decided to have an important Main Event tonight. Tonight, we will be having a 6 Man Free For All which will determine the rankings for the top XCW competitors as we move toward Tabula Rasa. The rules are simple: in order to eliminate an opponent, they must be tossed over the top rope and both feet must hit the floor. The final two competitors remaining in the ring must then score a pin fall or submission on the opponent in order to be the winner of this match. The winner of this match will become the first superstar to be guaranteed a World Heavyweight Title shot at Tabula Rasa.
The crowd pops as Bischoff smiles at their enjoyment.
Eric Bischoff: The competitors that will take place in tonight's Free For All will be: Kurt Angle, Triple H, Edge, Sting, Batista, and...JBL!
The crowd roars and Orton grits his teeth as his name is intentionally left off the list of participants. JBL laughs nonchalantly as the men leave the ring and XCW goes to commercial break.
MATCH 2: Finlay vs. Santino Marella
Finlay begins the match by hitting a hard shoulder block that drops Marella. Marella shakes his head as if to get rid of the cobwebs and begins to stand, but Finlay follows up with a elbow drop on Marella's inner thigh. Marella cringes and tries to grab the rope to pull himself away, but Finlay stands and promptly kicks him again in the inner thigh. Finlay lifts Marella and scoop slams him right back down before dropping another elbow on Marella's chest. The ref checks Marella and backs off to allow the match to continue. Finlay pull shim to his feet again and Irish whips him to the opposite corner, then charges with an outstretched arm for a clothesline, but Santino throws his elbow up just in time to stop the charge of the Irishman. He follows with a stiff chop to the chest of Finlay, and then another, before he oddly reaches up and pushes Finlay's chin to the side as if he is looking for something. Finlay, still in pain and recovering from the chops, looks at Marella curiously, but Marella suddenly grabs him by the jaw and drops him into a jawbreaker that lays Finlay out on his back. Pin attempt: 1...2... kick-out.
Santino stands and laughs as he bobs his head, appearing to be quite happy with the outcome of his feint. He lifts Finlay to his feet and Finlay bursts forward with a lariat that drops both men. Finlay gets to all fours and winces as he tries to shake off the damage. Marella stares at the lights on the arena ceiling and reaches upward. Finlay gets to his feet and applies a Boston crab to Marella and the crowd begins to cheer. Marella shakes his head as the ref asks him if he wants to give up. Finlay lays back and really applies the pressure to the back of Santino, but Santion manages to turn his body over and kicks Finlay forward. Finlay steps forward and immediately turns back around to drop another elbow drop on the inner thigh of Santino. Santino grabs the thigh and screams out in pain. Pin attempt by Finlay: 1...2... kick-out.
Finlay gets to his knees and shakes his head before standing and grabbing the leg of Marella. Finlay pulls him to the middle of the ring and begins kicking him in the chest and head. Marella gets to his knee and Finlay applies a shoulder lock. Marella struggles for a moment and then counters the hold into a wrist lock behind Finlay's back. Finlay elbows Marella in the jaw and then boots him in the stomach, which doubles him over. Finlay pulls his arm between his legs and delivers a ring shaking pump-handle slam before hooking his leg: 1...2...kick-out.
Finlay, beginning to get angry, stands and pulls Marella up with him. He appears to be setting up for a Celtic Cross, but Marella notices the finisher attempt and punches Finlay in the ribs a couple times. After a boot to the stomach, Marella bounds off the ropes and hits a hard cross body that drops Finlay to the mat. Seeing his opportunity, Marella begins scaling the turnbuckle. Marella stands and looks around the crowd with a smile on his face before finishing the climb, though he notes that Finlay is getting to his feet. Marella leaps, but Finlay stands and catches him in mid air, then redirects his momentum and slams him in a spine-buster. Marella immediately cringes and grabs his back in severe pain. Finlay stands and looks down at the wounded Italian before pulling him to his feet and setting up a Celtic Cross, but Marella again manages to kick free and attempts a backslide! Finlay breaks loose almost immediately and both men stand as quick as they can, with Finlay getting the upper hand and driving Marella's skull into the mat with a DDT! Finlay hooks the leg and pushes his forearm across Marella's face for a pin: 1...2...3!
WINNER: Finlay!
JR: What a great technical bout by these two veteran's. I would have expected nothing less.
King: I expected alot more strutting around and blabbering from Santino, to be quite honest.
JR: Well, we all know the two of you don't have a stellar history with one another. Folks, don't go away, when we return, MVP versus AJ Styles in a Hardcore match for a shot at the No-Limits Title!
XCW goes to commercial with Finlay standing on the middle turnbuckle and holding both fists in the air victoriously. When XCW returns from break, AJ Styles is backstage taping his fingers and wearing his black and red ring attire with his entrance hoody hanging on a hanger in a closet behind him. "Mean" Gene walks on the set with mic in hand.
Gene Okerlund: AJ, are you ready for tonight's event?
AJ Styles: Gene, I don't have much of a choice. This match is for a shot at the No-Limits title and, with that being said, victory is my only option as far as I'm concerned.
Gene Okerlund: Yes, but you realize you are going into a hardcore match against a man who is know for doing whatever he must to insure victory for himself, even if that means hurting his opponent?
AJ Styles: Gene, I don't know what MVP is going to try to do to me tonight, but I guarantee this, I will walk out of there with my head held high tonight. Not only that, but my hand... held high... as well.
AJ walks off set toward the entrance ramp and Gene nods as the camera goes back to the arena.
JR: Confidence from the young superstar, AJ Styles as he prepares for his match with MVP. That has to be important for him going into this match. He certainly has confidence and also a lot of heart.
King: Confidence and heart will only get you so far though, especially against a trash can lid or a steel chair. AJ Styles is going to have to bring his 'A' game tonight or we may not be seeing him again for a while.
MATCH 3 (Hardcore/Contention match for No-Limits Title): AJ Styles vs. MVP
MVP begins the match with a hard boot to the gut. AJ doubles over and MVP grabs him by the hair and pulls his face up close to MVP's. MVP mouths "This is gonna hurt you more than it hurts me" then slams his head to the mat. AJ grabs his head and rolls away from MVP. MVP taunts by shooting an imaginary basketball and then runs at AJ and begins stomping away at the downed man. AJ covers and continues rolling to the outside of the ring. He still holds his head as he paces the outside. MVP holds his arms out and yells angrily at AJ, meanwhile AJ pulls a chair out from under the ring. AJ yells back "You wanna hurt somebody, you wanna fight? We can fight!" He slides into the ring and MVP runs in with another boot to the head of AJ Styles. AJ slows, but charges anyway with the chair. The chair cracks MVP in the side of the leg, but MVP fires a hook at AJ's head which rocks him back against the ropes. MVP hits an elbow shot and then proceeds to wrap AJ's arm around the top rope and use it as leverage to tweak it back and forth. He then places a boot to the throat of AJ, who slumps and hits the mat. MVP pushes AJ's throat against the mat with his rhinestone covered boot. "You can handle a fight with me, chump" MVP yells at AJ. AJ finally gets out of the choke and manages to spin a leg around and trip MVP. MVP falls to his back and hops up quickly with an angry look on his face. AJ is quicker though as he attempts to stand and nails a Pele kick to the head of MVP. AJ holds his throat and then pulls MVP to his feet. AJ pushes MVP to the corner and uses it to bulldog him in the middle of the ring. Pin attempt: 1...kick-out by MVP.
AJ stomps on MVP and then grabs his leg for an ankle hook. MVP grimaces as AJ turns his leg awkwardly. As he twists and turns trying to get out of the hold he notices the chair laying near him. He reaches out in distress, and AJ notices it as well. AJ torques the leg harder to distract MVP, but he gets the chair in hand anyway. As AJ releases the hold MVP tries to stand, but his ankle is weak and wont allow him to put alot of pressure on it. He holds up the chair, and AJ runs headlong toward him with a clothesline. MVP holds the chair up and both men take the blow and fall hard to the mat. AJ grabs his arm in obvious pain and MVP lays flat out on his back with his eyes closed. The ref stands in the ring, unsure what to do. MVP finally opens his eyes and rolls to his side. AJ gets up, still grasping his arm and showing a look of discomfort. AJ grabs the chair and holds it up over head. MVP looks up, helpless. AJ looks down at him angrily and feints swinging the chair once...then again...then he throws it out to the floor outside the mat. MVP sees his opportunity and nails a jumping enziguiri to the back of AJ's head, knocking him over again. MVP goes for the pin: 1...2...Kick-out!
MVP rolls out of the ring and looks under the apron for a moment. He searches for a weapon for a seemingly long time before looking over the apron to see AJ getting to his knee. He shrugs it off and continues searching. MVP finally seems to find something and pulls out a long table, but as he stands to put the table into position he catches a baseball slide kick to the face! He stumbles back as AJ mounts his attack. Blow after blow rains down on MVP as AJ has entered a furious rage of offense. MVP is whipped into the railing around the audience and then into the steel steps as a sickening thump is heard throughout the arena. AJ pulls the table up to the side of the ring and sets it up. He pushes it flush up against the side of the ring and then lifts MVP to his feet and slides him onto the apron next to it. He pulls MVP to his feet and kicks him in the gut causing him to double over in a haze. Styles pull shim between his knees and signals for the Styles Clash! AJ lifts him up and turns sideways facing the table before falling forward and driving MVP through it and down to the floor below! The crowd explodes into cheers! Both men lay there for a long time without moving. Refs and medics come check the rubble. and then back off as it seems both men are not fatally wounded. Finally Styles moves and gets to his feet. AJ lifts MVP and pushes him under the bottom rope before rolling in and pinning him: 1...2...3!
WINNER: AJ Styles!
JR: MY GAWD, MY GAWD, what a match, King!
King: AJ Styles did it! He drove MVP straight through a table and won the hardcore match to become the first entry into the No-Limits fatal four way at Tabula Rasa!
JR: What a victory! Folks, don't go away, when we return, the main event!
XCW goes to commercial break. When it returns, all six competitors for the main event area already in the ring sizing one another up.
MAIN EVENT (Six man Free For All for World Title contention): Kurt Angle vs. Triple H vs. Edge vs. Sting vs. Batista vs. JBL
Triple H immediately makes his way toward Edge, who seemed to have the same idea, as the two men lock up and begins brawling in one corner of the ring. Angle and Sting also lock horns as Angle quickly gets the upper hand with a european uppercut. Batista and JBL slowly gauge one another before also locking up in the corner opposite of Triple H and Edge. Triple H channels his long time mentor, Ric Flair, by hitting a hard backhand chop to the chest of Edge. Edge grabs his chest and cringes as it turns a bright red. Edge counters with a vicious right hook and Triple H fires another hard backhand chop before placing his boot in Edge's stomach. Triple H stomps away on Edge, meanwhile JBL applies a side head lock to Batista. Batista pushes him off, and JBL uses the momentum to bound off the ropes back to Batista. Batista bends over for a back body drop, but JBL stops and punts Batista hard in the chest. JBL applies a wrist lock and contorts Batista's arm up behind his own back causing him to rotate around the ring at JBL's whim. Angle has Sting backed into the corner opposite of Edge and Triple H and delivers a couple of vicious knees to Sting's stomach. Sting doubles over and Angle drops him with a pump handle slam right underneath the turnbuckle. Sting arches his back in pain and Angle turns to find another target. Angle finds his target in Triple H who continues to punish Edge in the corner. Angle grabs him by the shoulder and spins him around to hit him with a hook, but Triple H blocks the blow and hits his own hook on Angle's jaw. Angle stumbles backward, but Edge ends the Game's momentum by hitting him with an axe-handle blast from behind. Angle knees Triple H in the gut and drives his skull to the ground in a DDT. Edge, meanwhile, uppercuts Batista in the throat and JBL releases the hold to help double team. Edge and JBL stomp away at the Animal until finally Sting gets to his feet and kicks both men in the ribs. They both attempt to double clothesline him, but he counters by ducking and returns with his own double clothesline. Angle goes for an early Ankle Lock attempt on the downed Triple H, but Triple H grabs the ropes and kicks him off. Angle kicks him in the head and pull shim back to his feet in an attempt to suplex him. Triple H locks his foot around Angle and counters the move with a snap suplex of his own. Angle stands and charges at Triple H, but Triple H throws his heel high into the air and lands a big boot. Triple H pull shim to his feet and tries to throw him over the top rope, but Angle gets a rush and holds onto the rope for dear life. Angle manages to shake off Triple H, and jabs him in the face before irish whipping him across the ring. When Triple H returns, Angle launches him into an Atomic Drop before nailing him with a hard lariat and dropping him to the mat. Meanwhile, Sting has singled out Edge and applied an arm-bar to him while JBL has managed to get Batista backed into the corner and is hitting him repeatedly with fist after fist. JBL climbs to the second turnbuckle and reigns blow after blow down onto the wounded Animal, until finally Batista gets a second wind and runs forward with a sit out power bomb! JBL's gleeful and merciless grin quickly turns to a look of agony. Batista lifts JBL up and irish whips him off the ropes. He catches him with a hard spine buster that shakes the ring. Batista hops up shakes the top rope while stomping on the ground in preparation of the Batista Bomb. But, suddenly the crowd is hushed as Angle charges at him from behind with a clothesline that sends him over the top rope to the floor below!
Batista is eliminated by Kurt Angle!
Only five men remain as Angle returns to Triple H with a mounted assault. JBL lies motionless in the middle of the ring and Edge finally gets to his feet while Sting maintains the arm-bar. Edge kicks Sting in the stomach and breaks the hold Edge then applies his own head lock and looks down angrily at Sting who attempts to break the hold. Sting gets his footing correct and then simply falls backward lifting Edge up and back down to the mat with a hard thump. Triple H counters a shot by Angle and finally regains momentum by pounding him in the head with his elbow. Triple H whips Angle to the opposite ring post and then bounds in after him as both men have to leap over the laying JBL. Triple H drives home a heavy knee shot and then bulldogs Angle right on top of JBL! Triple H follows up by grabbing Angle's leg and kicking him in the thigh. He kicks him again, and goes for another kick, but Angle counters by flipping him over and applying the Ankle Lock! Sting comes to his rescue by kicking Angle in the back of the head, but in doing so, opens himself up for a hard Spear by Edge. Sting is rocked backward by the Spear and Edge stands over him victoriously as he pulls his hair back. JBL finally comes to his senses as Edge motions for him to help lift Sting over the top rope. JBL does so as both men lift Sting into position to throw him over. Angle and Triple H both rise and Triple H irish whips Angle and nails him with the patented chest buster that drops Angle to the mat as the crowd cheers. Triple H runs over to assist Sting, but catches an elbow to the face from Edge. JBL continues to try and lift Sting, who grabs the top rope and holds on tightly. Sting gets over the top rope, but stands on the apron and puts his shoulder between the ropes into JBL's stomach. JBL leans over the top and tries to push Sting over, but Sting holds tight top the rope. Angle charges in and pushes JBL out of the way before throwing a big boot over the top rope and kicking Sting off the apron!
Sting is eliminated by Kurt Angle!
Angle falls to his knees and breathes heavily. JBL looks at him angrily and then hits a sickening boot to his skull which apparently knocks him out. Edge punishes Triple H with boot and fist before hitting an Edgecution DDT in he middle of the ring. Triple H pushes the hair out of his eyes and rolls to his side while Edge looks around the ring and notices what JBL did to Angle. JBL locks gaze with Edge and the two men fire blow after blow at one another. Neither seems to get the upper hand until finally Edge fire a backhand chop that rocks JBL up against the ropes. Edge whips him across the ring and JBL leaps over Triple H to return and receive a sidewalk slam. Angle comes to and uses the top rope to pull himself up. Edge turns and sees him and decides to punch him in the back of the head. Angle takes the blow and fires an elbow into the his chest. Edge takes a couple steps backward and charges at Angle who pulls the top rope down and sends Edge reeling over it, just barely grabbing the ropes and remaining on the ring apron. Angle looks for JBL and has revenge written on his face as he finds him attempting to stand. Angle applies an Ankle Lock on JBL and JBL grimaces in pain. Kurt yells at him, "I'll break your fucking ankle you son of a bitch! How dare you stab me in the back!" Triple H gets to his feet and smiles as he witnesses Angle going crazy on JBL. He allows the event to continue as he catches his breath. Finally Angle releases the hold and pulls JBL to the ropes. He lifts him up and Triple H takes advantage of the moment and runs over to Angle and clocks him from behind. JBL falls back to the mat. Edge rolls back under the ropes and stands in the ring. Angle gets to the corner and Triple H follows with kick after kick. Triple H pins Angle in the corner and and then sends him for a irish whip to the opposite corner. WINNER: Kurt Angle!
JR: What a turn of events, King! I really thought Triple H was going to pull this match out even against the odds he faced toward the end. Kurt Angle does what he does best, again, and wins regardless of the price.
King: Damnit, JR. We have to put up with Angle talking about how he is an Olympic Gold Medalist, and now a contender for the XCW World Heavyweight Championship too!
JR: And we still don't know who his opponent will be at Tabula Rasa either. Only time will tell folks, from all of us here at XCW, thank you for watching, and good night!
XCW goes off air as Angle stands on the middle turnbuckle and lifts both fist in victory. Edge makes his way back down the entrance ramp with a look of disgust on his face while Triple H pushes his hair back out of his face and looks back at Angle with disappointment on his.
