I'm not hating; in fact, I'm being a critic, which is good for you as a writer. I don't think I look pitiful. I feel that you're too emotionally invested to be a great writer. Sure, you're "good," but there's tons of good writers. If you can't handle critics without getting super defensive, you won't make it.
