I think I understand what your saying, correct me if I'm wrong...

You cant determine who the better wrestler is by comparing ability & skill because like you said wrestling is fake. You can only determine who the better wrestler is by his or her resume ie star power. Therefor the bigger name is the better wrestler...correct? I cant say I agree with that 100%, but I believe I understand what your getting at.

Is a wrestlers skill important at all? And more importantly, do things like titles actually mean anything because again like you said, wrestling is fake. A booking team can give a title to anyone, take David Arquette for example.

I have to stay out of this for a while. Kaedon has chosen to remain in his ivory tower of stupidity until further notice.

And even if there is a "skill" in wrestling, its the ability to get over with the fans, once given the chance, which only the biggest draws do. That's why indy guys like CM Punk had such a rep, because he was OVER everywhere he went. If there was a 5,000 seat area, guaranteed CM Punk almost sold it out every time, because he was a DRAW. He knows how to connect with the fans. He has that "skill" if you want to call it that.

I definitely understand what your saying and I agree to a certain extent, but I also believe a wrestlers ability to actually wrestle, and put on a good match should also be taken into consideration.

Well see heres the thing. If you listen to what people who have done these prolonged interviews about booking or just the business in general, from Al Snow, to Jim Cornette, to Raven, to Bill Watts, even to that idiot Vince Russo, all of them, while they have SEVERELY different philosophies on wrestling, they have said, in one way or another, if you are selling tickets, drawing in fans, you are having a good match. If you are selling tickets, you are entertaining the fans. Al Snow said it best "If you are at a venue that seats 2,000 and there are 200 in it, then you aren't having as good a match as you think you are."

But independent promotions are just that, independent. There is no way they could draw 2,000 people. I don't think that means the product is horrid. It has a lot to do with the lack of resources.

2000 was a number I threw out, heh. You can take any number at any venue. Say you are at a place that seats 150, and 20 show up week after week after week after week is it lack of promotion? More than likely no, it's just a bad product. And by bad, I mean one that particular audience doesn't like.

Well not necessarily. They could be just starting up, the business could be at a lull in the city, or maybe the fans just dont like what the fed is giving them. It gets back to that targeting thing. The masses are harder to entertain because many people like many different things. You get 20 people in the room, its a hell of a lot easier to get them into the show because you can easily gauge what they want. Those 20 people might want straight up wrestling, so you give it to them. But say 20 more people come in and they don't like wrestling, they want carny. So then you have to give that or they arent coming back. But if you consistently draw 1/10th, 1/5th, or 1/4th of the whole house, chances are something is wrong with your product.

No negativity for Rell, just for Reinvented who hasn't contributed to this conversation at all. Instead he has been a little instigating fuck on the sideline because he cant talk with the big boys.

I get it Gaydon knows he can't handle Rells almight power and street smarts. He then attacks me thinking I'm the weak link if he only knew the truth.

I only see one Big Boy and its Rell then I see a huge pussy in You. I don't have to add to the conversation because Rell answers everything so well their is no need for me to talk directly towards you except now and diss you.

Does wrestling really mean that much to you Gaydon?? You learn facts and numbers about wrestling you seem to be the only one that cares about numbers here...

See, he's still throwing around insults because he has no brain. You're like the little annoying side-kick. The big boy says something and you go "YEAH" and then run and hide behind his skirt.

Rell doesn't wear a skirt fool. I see only you can use insults because you are Gaydon the man that knows facts and numbers of wrestling and thinks he is always right and thinks he is better then most.

I don't really need to say anything because I watch both TNA and WWE they have flaws on both sides and nothing I say or do will change them so why fight with other people to prove what!?! I know why I should fight people online to be like Kaedon because only one company can be good and all others suck is that right Gaydon?

Someone needs to learn the finer points of sarcasm.

I see only you can use insults because you are Gaydon
and how to spell

the man that knows facts and numbers of wrestling
guilty as charged

and thinks he is always right
Only when dealing with people like you

and thinks he is better then most.

Only when dealing with people like you.

Im not fighting, I'm discussing. And if that is irrelevant, why are you on the forum? You obviously cant debate anything because thus far you haven't made one logical argument. Are you here just to insult people? Because that seems to be all you can do.

I know why I should fight people online to be like Kaedon because only one company can be good and all others suck is that right Gaydon?

I never said TNA can't be good, but they arent. And their year long streak of ratings from 1.0-1.2 proves that they suck. Wait, those are numbers, and you dont understand numbers, all you understand is insults.
