The date is the only thing that I have an issue coming up with a counter claim with. But I feel like in these situations when it's the most obvious, it's bound to be a swerve. But I could be wrong.

I think it's more a story of someone going after Taker rather than it being him himself. I agree that we're in for a swerve probably.

I'm kinda skeptical about this. Yes it definitely sounds like that it's the Undertaker, but nowhere does it say that he's gonna wrestle at Survivor Series. Return? Possibly. My intake is that WWE is planning something HUGE for Wrestlemania XXX, and they're gonna start to hype for it as SS.

My other guess is that he teams up with Kane to take on The Wyatts.

Seems like the typical Taker returns in time to hype one last match at Mania. Weird it's this early if it truly is a return. Usually he's not back around on screen till the Rumble.

This would mark his 24th consecutive year with the company, makes sense for him to return where it all started.

Then again, would also make sense that this is where someone would likely challenge him to a career threatening match.

The first picture is CLEARLY Brock Lesnar's trunks cut into pieces setting up for his return bout with The Undertaker at SS where Brock gets the best of him and sets up his challenge at Mania where Brock has all the confidence going in.
