Monday Night RAW Preview

Next Monday on RAW will be the last RAW before Saturday Night’s Main Event (which is only 13 days away) and only 20 days away from the Grandest Stage of them All, WrestleMania 25. With this being the last stop towards Saturday Night’s Main Event, expect things to heat up!

Last week, Rob Van Dam, Jeff Hardy and Mr. Kennedy were successful in beating three members of the UKonnection in Rob’s return to action and in Mr. Kennedy’s hometown of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Following this, the WWE Champion CM Punk came out, furious after Mr. Kennedy cost Punk his match against the Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho after he looked certain to pick up his second win in two weeks over Jericho. However unfortunately for Punk, he was unable to spoil the homecoming for Mr. Kennedy, as Ken reversed the exact Roundhouse Kick that Punk used earlier in the night to knock out Todd Grisham, as Punk then succumbed to Mr. Kennedy’s devastating Mic Check out of nowhere. Kennedy has said that he has requested and succeeded in getting ring time this week, where he will talk about matters such as CM Punk, Saturday Night’s Main Event and of course, the 25th Anniversary of the Biggest Event in Sports Entertainment history. Don’t be surprised if the WWE Champion shows up for the second week in a row and shares a piece of his mind, with words or with actions.

As previously mentioned, last week the Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho won the return Champion vs. Champions match against WWE Champion CM Punk, also resulting in him booking himself in his second Money in the Bank Ladder match in two years and his third Money in the Bank Ladder match overall. Jericho will go head to head (to head) in a Triple Threat Non Title match up against RAW’s current Money in the Bank competitors in The Brian Kendrick and Rey Mysterio. With the recent history between Rey Mysterio and Kendrick (resulting in last week’s draw), it would not be surprising if these two men attempt to settle their differences in the ring with the Intercontinental Champion alongside them. Also, with Jericho and Mysterio’s friendship and partnership over the past half year, the odds are definitely stacked against the former Cruiserweight and World Tag Team Champion.

Speaking of the Money in the Bank Ladder match, RAW will confirm their last competitor this week, as well as the two men that will be representing the UKonnection. Shane McMahon has announced that this week, just like the Elimination Chamber Qualifying match a few months back, we will see the UKonnection in a Fatal Four Way Match, but this has even higher stakes, as the man that gets the win will go on to the Money in the Bank Ladder match, and the two that are not pinned will defend the World Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania XXV! Also, the man that is pinned will miss out on WrestleMania altogether. The last time these four men in the same match it proved to surprisingly be a highly competitive match so with the stakes even higher, expect this match to be a very hard hitting affair. Jeff Hardy, Rob Van Dam and the Money in the Bank competitors of both RAW and Smackdown will surely be watching how this match pans out.

After the events that transpired in the aftermath of Shawn Michaels and Paul London against the Two Man Dynasty last week where Shawn Michaels elbow dropped MVP threw the announce table and Triple H laid out both members of Rated RKO, we will see a one on one match on RAW as confirmed on Smackdown, Master vs. Apprentice, Mentor vs. Protégé, one half of DX vs. one half of Rated RKO, Triple H vs. Randy Orton. With the announcement of their WrestleMania XXV Tag Team match made just last week after the events of DX laying out the Rated RKO Dynasty, Shawn Michaels and Edge will undoubtedly be at ringside in their respective partners corners. Hell will certainly break loose, especially after what Edge and Orton had to say on Smackdown last week.

With what happened with DX and the Rated RKO Dynasty in the aftermath of the Tag Team Match, the new Paul London and Jamie Noble saga has been relatively quiet. Noble viciously attacked London after his tag team match last week as London was the walking wounded backstage, as Jamie went on to hit the Cruiserweight Champion with a solid metal trash can and then a Belly to Belly Sitout Piledriver on the hard concrete backstage, before he left the scene with London’s Cruiserweight Title in hand. It has been announced right from the office of Shane McMahon that this week on RAW, we will see a Cruiserweight Title match where Paul London will defend his title against the man that has it in his possession in Jamie Noble! With the assault on London last week, the tough Pit Bull will surely go in the favourite and may get another Cruiserweight Title reign.

Kane qualified last week for the Brand Supremacy match, so he will face either the Samoan Bulldozer Umaga or the Jamaican Kofi Kingston in the match in 20 days at WrestleMania. After winning the Triple Threat match against Carlito and Monty Brown, Kane will be in action this week, and will go one on one with Brown as per request of the Alpha Male, who wants to prove himself to Shane McMahon. Brown has been on a bit of a losing run as of late so he will be looking to redeem himself Monday on RAW. Burke will certainly be at the side of the Man Beast during his match, and could prove to be a vital part in a Brown victory over Kane.

All this on RAW as well as an announcement from Rob Van Dam and Jeff Hardy and further announcements on Saturday Night’s Main Event and next week’s WrestleMania RAW Rewind. This is a Monday Night RAW that you surely do not want to miss!

Best Match: I really liked Evan Bourne's match, tbh. I liked how he was used and the drop toe hold to the crotch was also great lol. The Main Event was also a damn good match; just one thing, who's Nash Miller?

Worst Match: The squash.

Best Promo: There were no visibly bad ones as you don't write them out in full and I'm pretty fine with that.

Worst Promo: N/A.

Additional Comments: I really, really enjoyed this show and expect ore reviews from me. You are a damn good booker keep up the good work, :y: and rep+

Monday Night Raw
The second last Raw before Wrestlemania starts off with the weekly Raw video package, first highlighting RVD’s return to Raw two weeks ago before his opening promo last week where he thanked the fans and insulted the UKonnection. The package then shows Shane O Mac coming out right before Rob and his partner Jeff Hardy are about to leave, saying that he knows what the fans want, which is an RVD return match, as Shane goes on to confirm the main event, a Six Man Tag Team match between RVD, Jeff and Mr. Kennedy against Finlay, DH Smith and Paul Burchill of the UKonnection. We are then shown Kane qualifying for the Brand Supremacy match (which was announced by Teddy Long and Shane McMahon shortly beforehand), before going to the tag team match where the Two Man Dynasty cheated to victory as MVP used dirty tactics on Paul London to win the match, before showing the DX attack which followed, causing Orton to be hit with a Pedigree, Edge to be hit with various sledgehammer shots to the head, and MVP to be taken out with a Flying Elbow Drop from the Heart Break Kid through the announce table. The match graphic with DX vs. Rated RKO for Wrestlemania 25 is shown, as glimpses of Rated RKO’s promo on SD is shown, where Orton confirmed a HHH vs. Orton match for tonight (Raw). Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk was then shown, where Punk looked to have the victory as he was going for a Go To Sleep, only for Kennedy’s music to play, distracting Punk, enabling Jericho to hit the Codebreaker and then pick up the victory, inserting himself into his third Money in the Bank Ladder match.

We then cut to the main event, where Jeff was the face in peril before mounting a comeback, as Jeff then tagged in his Wrestlemania tag team partner Rob Van Dam. It shows RVD and Kennedy cleaning house, as Jeff then recovers and also gets in the ring, as Finlay, Smith and Paul have all been laid out. We are then shown Mr. Kennedy, Jeff Hardy and RVD on the top rope, as a Kenton Bomb, Swanton Bomb and a Five Star Frog Splash followed, resulting in a triple pin and the win in favour of RVD, Hardy and the hometown hero. The aftermath is shown following this with RVD and Hardy letting Kennedy in his home town of Green Bay, Wisconsin, only for Punk to come out and ruin the festivities. Punk’s attempted attack on his Wrestlemania 25 is then shown; where Punk attempted to hit a Roundhouse Kick only for Kennedy to duck, quickly pull the WWE Champion in and hit a third Mic Check on the champion in a matter of weeks. The video package then closes with the same vision of how Raw finished last week, CM Punk laid out as Mr. Kennedy had the WWE Title in his possession, which could possibly happen at Mania XXV.

We then go live into the arena as the pyrotechnics go off as Jim Ross and Jerry the King Lawler welcome us to the show. As always, JR and the King run down the card for tonight, where the final Money in the Bank Ladder match competitor will be confirmed in a match of epic proportions. King then says that Shane McMahon has made a huge Money in the Bank qualifying match between all four members of the UKonnection, where the winner will go on to compete in the Money in the Bank Ladder match, and the two that are not pinned will go on to defend the World Tag Team Championships at Wrestlemania XXV against Hardy and RVD, while the win that is pinned will miss out on Wrestlemania altogether! Ross then says that speaking of the Money in the Bank Ladder match, two of Raw’s competitors will go at it, as Rey Mysterio will go one on one with his friend and the man that qualified for the Money in the Bank Ladder match only last week, the Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho (in a non title match). King then says that also tonight, a huge Interbrand match that was confirmed on Smackdown, where Randy Orton will go one on one with Smackdown Triple H, one half of D Generation X.

‘Trailer Park Trash’ hits over the speakers to very loud heat, as Jamie Noble makes his way down to the ring with the Cruiserweight Championship, as JR says that this match is for the Cruiserweight Championship. JR talks about Noble’s injury after a Cruiserweight Championship match against Paul London where he landed awkwardly on his knee on the outside one night after Unforgiven, as footage is shown where Noble attempted a Diving Crossbody but caught the ropes, as he landed on the outside as his knee then buckled underneath him. King talk about Noble’s completely new demeanour as he was friends with London before the match but seems to have turned his back on him by blaming him, turning his back on the fans also in the process. Noble gets into the ring and begins pacing, hopefully to add another Cruiserweight Title reign to his list of accomplishments.

‘Rocker’ blasts over to the speakers to a great pop, as none other than the Cruiserweight Champion Paul London comes charging down the ramp, ready for his match against the man that attacked him last week. Footage is then shown of Noble’s shock return and attack last week, where London was first smashed in the head with a nearby trash can by Noble, followed by Noble nailing London with his old WCW finisher, the Belly to Belly Sitout Piledriver, before Jamie got Paul’s Cruiserweight Title and walked off with it. Noble darkly smirks at the footage as London slides into the ring, and then stares down his new nemesis. Noble hands London’s Cruiserweight Title to the referee without taking his eyes off of Noble, as the referee lifts the Cruiserweight Title up for everyone to see, as this Cruiserweight Title match has begun!

Match 1
Cruiserweight Championship
Paul London vs. Jamie Noble

RAW starts off with a highly competitive and fast paced match, as London and Noble use quick cruiserweight moves to start off the contest and the first match of the night. The cruiserweight moves then stop soon after at the five minute mark as Noble uses his aggressive nature, as when London goes for a Wheelbarrow into a Victory Roll (sort of like Rey Mysterio’s bulldog), only for Noble to fling London over Noble’s head and onto London’s head, causing the Cruiserweight his neck smacks the mat aggressively. Noble then took the advantage from this point onwards, as he worked over the upper back of London, hitting him with four consecutive Dragon Suplexes, only for the resilient champion to kick out at two at the seven minute mark.

Noble then continued with his control of the match as he then lifted up London at the ten minute mark before getting him in position for a Powerbomb, but this turned to be a huge mistake as London flipped backwards, resulting in him giving Noble a Hurricanrana right into the turnbuckles. Noble then stumbles out of the corner, right into London who hits him with a quick Dropkick, making Noble stumble back into the corner. London then took a breather before charging at Noble, as he then hit him with a Flying Crossbody in the corner, before bouncing off the middle rope as Noble stumbled into the middle of the ring as London then connected with a Moonsault Press.

From this point onwards the match became much like it started off, as both men shared the advantage, but when London went for a Top Rope 450 Splash, Noble stuck his knees up. An obviously and visibly hurt London got up as he was scooped up from Noble and was then put into position for the Belly to Belly Sitout Piledriver, as the crowd gave heat but there was a certain buzz in the air as there could be a new champion here tonight. Noble then went to execute the deadly move at the 16 minute mark of what had been a great match, only for Paul to roll through and get Noble in a Victory Roll for a quick two count. A frustrated Noble got up, as Paul ran at Noble once again but was hit with a boot to the stomach, as Noble then turned London around and then got him in a reverse front face lock, getting the CW Champion in a Dragon Sleeper!

After one minute in the devastating submission hold London looked to be out of it, but when the referee was going to check if he was knocked out, London suddenly found some life, as he then went to a nearby turnbuckle, kicked off of the second rope and flipped over Noble’s head. Noble then turned around but was hit with a Step Up Enziguiri from London. Noble managed to stay on his feet, as London then hit the man that was in possession of the Cruiserweight Title with a Flapjack onto the ropes, before getting him in a School Boy Roll Up for another quick two count. London then continued with his fight back as he went to hit Jamie with another Crossbody, only for the Pit Bull to hold onto London.

Jamie then hoisted London onto his shoulders, as London tried everything in his power to get out of the predicament but Jamie Noble was unrelenting, as he then dropped London down with a Fireman’s Carry Gutbuster! Noble then sported a sick grin on his face as he climbed over for the cover, but Noble did not become the Cruiserweight Champion as much to the surprise of Jamie, London kicked out at two! Noble ran his hands through his hair, wondering what to do. London then got up as Noble charged, but was met with a devastating Superkick from London, but that was not enough to put Noble away! Both men stayed on the mat for a matter of time so they could recover as the crowd cheered for this very exciting opening contest.

The match past the 20 minute mark just like last week’s opening match, as London then went for and connected with a Back Suplex, as he then ascended to the top rope once again. Noble began to stir as London waited for Jamie to get up, but it turned out that Jamie was playing possum as he leapt up and smacked the ropes, causing London to crotch himself on the top rope. For the second time in the match Noble seized the leg of London and then pulled, causing London to go flying off of the top rope and smacked his neck HARD on the mat. Noble then repeatedly stomped and punched away at London in the corner before choking him as the referee tried to pull Jamie off to no avail, as he had no choice but to call for the bell!

Winner by DQ and still the Cruiserweight Champion: Paul London

Noble stops choking London in the corner once he hears Lillian Garcia announce London as the winner, as he goes to the referee. The referee says that he told Jamie to go off and disobeyed the five count, resulting in him disqualifying Noble and giving London the win. Jamie looks as though he will attack the referee but decides not to, as he then lifts up London away from the corner, before getting him on his shoulders, looking for the second Belly to Belly Sitout Piledriver in as many weeks. London looks to have suffered the same fate as last week, only for at the last minute, London rolled through and hit Noble with a Head Scissors, escaping the deadly move (just like earlier in the match) and making Noble go to the outside. London then grabs his Cruiserweight Title after Noble stole it last week and raises it to a pop from the crowd, as we head to the commercial break.

Commercial Break

When we return from the break, we are backstage where a defeated and extremely frustrated Jamie Noble is storming backstage, screaming out for Shane. Noble then barges in to the office of McMahon, who is on the phone, before saying ‘See ya Teddy’ and hangs up. Noble then asks if he saw what happened before, and how he got screwed out of the Cruiserweight Championship, and that he deserves another chance. First off, Shane says that Noble disobeyed the referee’s orders but yes, Noble did not get pinned so he should get another chance at the Cruiserweight Title, at Wrestlemania. The crowd boos as Noble thanks McMahon before going to leave, but Shane O Mac stops him, saying that he was just on the phone with Long, who said that the Cruiserweight Title is an INTERBRAND title, so at Wrestlemania, it won’t be Jamie Noble vs. Paul London, it will be Jamie Noble vs. Paul London vs. a Smackdown Superstar in a Triple Threat match for the Cruiserweight Title! Noble does not know what to say as he got his Cruiserweight Title match but will have to go through two men to regain at, as Shane said that he also just made a match for Saturday Night’s Main Event, where Noble will go one on one with whoever the Smackdown Superstar is, with the Cruiserweight Champion as the Special Referee!

We cut away from the office of the Raw General Manager, as Jim Ross and the King talk about SNME which is in 12 days, with only two matches being confirmed so far, which was the match that Shane just confirmed in the Special Referee Cruiserweight Match between Jamie Noble and the Smackdown qualifier with the CW Champion as the referee, and the Champions vs. Challengers tag team match with the World Heavyweight Champion John Cena and the WWE Champion CM Punk teaming up to face the man that is undefeated at Wrestlemania and Cena’s arch nemesis the Undertaker and the winner of the 2009 Royal Rumble and CM Punk’s opponent for WrestleMania, Mr. Kennedy. JR says to watch out on WWE.COM, as starting from next Tuesday, one match will be confirmed every day until Saturday.

This leads us to the newly renamed Smackdown Lowdown, where we first see JBL squashing Trevor Murdoch before the Big Show comes out to make the save, only to be destroyed by JBL, with the aid of a microphone and a steel chair. It then shows the challenge of the Street Fight for Wrestlemania 25, which was later accepted by the Big Show. The undefeated newcomer Evan Bourne’s victory was shown, showing various Cycloramas from different angles. We are then shown Matt Hardy vs. Kofi Kingston, where the former United States Champion in Hardy won to qualify for the Money in the Bank Ladder match as Ken Doane and Bryan Danielson tried to attack Hardy, only for Gregory Helms to come out and clean house, ending in Danielson being hit with a Nightmare on Helms Street and a Twist of Fate from Matt. We then have highlights of the Fatal 4 Way match, as Jindrak in the end cost the WWE Tag Team Champion Psicosis the victory when he was about to pin Charlie Haas, as Mark hit him with a Mark of Excellence for the win. Highlights of the main event are then shown, with Cena smashing the Undertaker in the back with the World Title, as Taker then stumbled into Miller, who nailed his devastating Flapjack into Uppercut, which got Nash the first win of his career. Cena then got into the ring and smirked at Nash, only to be hit with the move that was named the Imprisonment. We then go to a commercial break as the Smackdown Lowdown ends with Nash standing tall over Smackdown’s main event.

Commercial Break

We return from the break as ‘Rule Brittania’ hits to a huge amount of heat, as the first member of the UKonnection in Finlay makes his way down to the ring, ready for this match against his three UKonnection partners. Finlay surprisingly had his shillelagh with him even though he most likely would not use it against his partners, but nonetheless, he brought it into the ring and put it in its usual position. Finlay then got into the centre of the ring and simply stood there looking at the entrance ramp, awaiting his UKonnection counterparts and also opponents for tonight.

‘Rule Brittania’ hits once again as DH Smith then makes his way down to the ring with his cousin Natalya Neidhart by his side, ready for his second match against his UKonnection teammates in four months. Even after the Elimination Chamber qualifying match back in December, the Second Generation Superstar can’t help but look and feel uneasy since he is facing the men that he has teamed with for the past 10 months. Smith gets into the ring and stares at Finlay, before taking the corner furthest away from the tough Irishman.

For the third time in a row, ‘Rule Brittania’ blasts over the loud speakers to the largest heat of all three so far, as the leader of the UKonnection in William Regal makes his way down to the ring with his black trunks on. Regal slides into the ring and frantically switches glances with the two members in the ring in Smith and Finlay, as Natalya is shown looking, as you could cut the tension with a knife. Regal backs into another free corner, as all three of them await the final competitor.

For perhaps the second last time in the night, ‘Rule Brittania’ hits once again, as accompanied by his sister Katie Lea Burchill, Paul Burchill makes his way to the ring. Regal, Finlay and DH Smith all look at Burchill, knowing that last December when these four had their Fatal Four Way Elimination Chamber qualifying match, Burchill came out the victor and was very close to winning the WWE Championship in that match. Not unlike his counterparts, Paul walks into the ring uncertainly, as he takes the last free corner and the match up gets underway.

Match 2
Fatal Four Way Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
The two who aren’t pinned go on to face RVD and Jeff Hardy at Mania XXV
UKonnection Collide
Paul Burchill vs. Finlay vs. William Regal vs. DH Smith

The match starts off with nervous nods from all four competitors before Smith locks up with Finlay as Burchill does likewise with Regal, but since all the men know the other’s style so well, it proves to be a stalemate. This action is repeated by with all four men, before Smith charges out of nowhere with a Lariat to Finlay, as Regal then ducks an attempted Clothesline from Burchill and then locked in a Full Nelson. Smith went to work on Finlay as Burchill managed to spin out of the hold and then hit Regal with a Russian Leg Sweep, as Smith and Paul then teamed up, as they hit Finlay with a Double Suplex. Burchill and Smith went at it, as Burchill quickly reversed a Running Powerslam into a Reverse DDT at the five minute mark, as Burchill then took the advantage.

Burchill worked over Regal for the majority, before the tough Irishman got up and clubbed Burchill in the back as he went for a Suplex, dropping Regal in the process. Finlay then continually used right hands to Burchill, as he ran back and attempted a Clothesline, but this proved his downfall as Burchill reversed that into a Snap Powerslam. Burchill maintained his advantage for the next couple of minutes before he went for a Curb Stomp to Finlay, only for Smith to come from behind Burchill and get him in a Roll Up for two. Burchill then got up and charged at Smith, but was hit with a kick to the gut and a Snap DDT. Smith then looked to have the advantage, only for a recovered Regal to come up from behind Smith and hit a Release Half Nelson Suplex.

Regal then locked Smith in the Regal Stretch, as the eyes of Smith rolled to the back of his head almost instantly. The referee was about to call for the bell, only for Finlay to dive on top of Regal and break up the submission manoeuvre! The two veterans then fought it out, as Finlay went for a Celtic Cross, but Regal held onto the second rope, therefore denying Finlay his opportunity to hit his secondary finisher. Finlay quickly hit Regal with a boot to the face, as he went to the corner and lifted up his shillelagh. Finlay then went to blast Regal in the face, but Regal ducked and then hit the High Knee on Finlay out of nowhere! Regal then climbed over the former Intercontinental Champion for the cover, but Smith and Burchill broke the count up at two!

Regal was furious as Smith and Burchill then lifted Regal up and whipped him across the ropes and then went for a Double Clothesline upon his arrival, but Regal managed to duck, and then hit a Clothesline to the both of them. They both got up as did Finlay, as Burchill went to Finlay but was hit by a Back Body Drop, as he got up with the aid of the ropes as he then rested on them. Regal then saw this as an opportune time, as he got Smith and threw him into Burchill, making them go flying out of the ring and to the mats below! Finlay and Regal then continued their battle as Regal ducked another attempt of a Clothesline by Finlay as he went for another Half Nelson Release Suplex, but Finlay managed to spin out and get Regal in the first stage of a Suplex, before completing the devastating Emerald Fusion! Finlay then climbs over for the cover with Burchill and Smith still out, as Finlay then gets the three count.

Winner and heading to the Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Finlay
Paul Burchill and DH Smith were not pinned, so they will go onto face RVD and Hardy at Mania XXV to defend the UKonnection’s Tag Team Championships

FINLAY IS GOING TO WRESTLEMANIA TO COMPETE IN MOENY IN THE BANK! Finlay gets up and gets his hand raised from the referee, as both Smith and Burchill gradually begin to get up. Natalya and Katie Lea looked worried on the outside sensing that something would happen like their match last December, as Smith and Burchill recover on the outside before they get into the ring as they see Finlay celebrating. The two who were not pinned simply shrug as they have still booked themselves a spot at Wrestlemania, as Regal begins to stir after the Emerald Fusion. Smith, Burchill and Finlay simply stare as their team leader in Regal gets up with a disappointed look on his face. Regal is still disappointed but still has his hands raised by Finlay, as the UKonnection raise their arms high as ‘Rule Brittania’ once again hit the speakers, as we then head to a commercial break.

Commercial Break

Once we return from the break Chris Jericho is backstage with his Intercontinental Title on his shoulder, warming up for his Triple Threat match with the other RAW Money in the Bank competitors later tonight. When walking, he bumps into the UKonnection, Regal holding his head after losing to his UKonnection counterpart. Jericho smirks at the beaten Regal and sarcastically asked the man that he feuded with most of 2008 how he was feeling, only to be hit with a slap by Regal, who then pounced on Jericho and hit him with hard right hands! The UKonnection simply stayed on the background as Regal rained down with right hands, only for Shane McMahon to soon arrive on the scene and force Regal off. Jericho got up but the UKonnection protected Regal, as an angry Shane then said that he knows that Regal is pissed that he is not on the Wrestle Mania card, but with these events, an idea has struck in his head. Shane O Mac then goes onto say that even though Regal will not compete at WrestleMania, he may have the chance to be the Intercontinental Champion as next Saturday, he will go one on one with Chris Jericho for the Intercontinental Championship. Regal smirks as Y2J seems happy about this, as the UKonnection walk off with Shane and Jericho staring daggers through them, as we cut away.

The announce team discuss these recent developments and the updated Saturday Night’s Main Event card, which now has the Champions vs. Challengers, Jamie Noble against the Smackdown Cruiserweight Championship qualifier with the CW Champion Paul London as Guest Referee and as just announced, an Intercontinental Championship match between Chris Jericho and William Regal, with undoubtedly Finlay in their corner. However, the rundown of SNME is cut short as 'Smooth' hits over the speakers.

The crowd give much larger heat than expected, accompanied by as always Elijah Burke, the awesomeness that is the Alpha Male~! Monty Brown makes his way down to the ring, ready for this one on one contest against the Big Red Machine. Brown gets into the ring soon followed by the Silver Tongued Pugilist, as Monty gets in the ring and starts pacing up and down, ready to face Kane. Burke is as always screaming advice to Brown, who looks as intense as ever to prove himself to the Raw General Manager.

‘Slow Chemical’ then blasts over the speakers to a huge pop, as the monster that is Kane makes his way down to the ring, just one week after being victorious in the Triple Threat match, thus going on to represent Raw in the Brand Supremacy match at Wrestlemania XXV. Kane gets into the ring and he takes the centre of the ring, as Burk hops to the outside of the ring before Kane lifts his arms and slams them down, causing ‘fire’ to come out of the ring posts. Kane smiles sadistically at the fire, although the beast in Brown looks unintimidated by this, as the third match up of the night begins.

Match 3
Singles Match
Kane vs. Monty Brown w/ Elijah Burke

The match starts off with Brown firing away at Kane with everything he has gotten, taking the Big Red Machine by surprise as he is backed into the corner. Brown follows and connects with five straight shoulders to the gut, as he backs away and then hits a Running Spear in the corner. Kane comes out of the corner winded as Brown goes for another right hand punch, only for Kane to duck under it and nail an Uppercut right to the throat. Brown then stumbled back as he was whipped against the ropes by Kane who then went looking for a Back Body Drop, only for Brown to hit Kane with a Swinging Neckbreaker. Brown maintained this advantaged until the seven minute mark as he beat Kane at his own power game, but it soon backfired as Kane hit Brown with a Big Boot as he bounced off the ropes.

Kane then lifted Monty up, only to drop him back down again with a Body Slam, as Brown’s back hits the mat hard. Kane waited for Brown to get up and he soon did with his back facing Kane, and when Kane turned him around, he was hit with a thumb to the eye and then a Double Leg Slam which he calls the Alpha Slam! Brown then climbs over the huge torso of Kane and hooks the leg, only for a two count. Brown is visibly frustrated as he then lifts Kane up and kicks him in the gut, as he then whips him across the ropes and looks for the Pounce. Kane was bounced off of the ropes as Monty bounced off, but Kane managed to pull himself up at the ropes, meaning the move backfired for Brown. Brown quickly went to Kane but was hit with another Uppercut to the throat, before being hit with a Sidewalk Slam!

Kane goes to the apron and then goes onto the second rope followed by his ascent to the top rope, as he waits for the Alpha Male to get up. Brown stumbles up groggily as Kane then leaps off, hitting Brown with a signature Flying Clothesline! Kane then raises his right arm and waves it around, signalling that he is ready to hit a Chokeslam. Brown then gets up and Kane’s hand is wrapped around the large throat of Brown, whose eyes rise as he will be victim to the Chokeslam. Burke on the outside also senses danger, as he slides into the ring with a steel chair! The crowd gives huge heat as Kane has no idea, as Burke slams the chair with all of his might into the back of Kane, as the referee signals for the disqualification win for Kane!

Winner by a Disqualification: Kane

Burke still has the chair in his hands, as he looks shocked as Kane no sells the chair shot, as the Big Red Machine then throws Brown away and goes straight to Burke. Burke goes for another chair shot to the head, but Kane managed to catch the chair and throw it away, leaving only Burke and Kane. Elijah tries to get away from Kane only to cop an Uppercut to the throat. Kane then bounced off the ropes and went to hit Burke with a Clothesline, only for Brown to bounce off the ropes and make Kane feel the Pounce! Brown then smirked down at Kane as Burke smirked as well, as Raw’s representative seems to be down and out. Burke and Brown laughed at Kane, only for the Masked Monster to sit up! Burke and Brown look shocked, as they run away to the back as Kane sits there, extremely pissed off at these events.

Commercial Break

We return from the commercial break with a video package, this one highlighting Saturday Night’s Main Event once again. It is the same package which was shown on Smackdown with the previous matches, but further enhancements were made, such as having little things like Undertaker hitting a Last Ride, CM Punk hitting a Go to Sleep, Mr. Kennedy hitting a Mic Check, Cena locking in an STFU, RVD hitting a Five Star Frog Splash and JBL hitting a Clothesline from Hell. Match graphics of the matches announced are shown, them being Jericho vs. Regal for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, Jamie Noble vs. the Smackdown Superstar that qualifies for the CW Title match with Paul London as Guest Referee, and the Champions vs. Challengers match. It then reminds us to tune in on NBC on Saturday night and to also check out on WWE.COM for the match announcements. The video package then ends with the screen split into four, where we see Punk raising his title, Cena showing his World Title to the world, Mr. Kennedy doing his opening match announcement and the Undertaker riding his bike, as we go back live to the arena.

The camera pans out to show the sold out arena, before ‘One of a Kind’ hits, as the duo of Rob Van Dam and Jeff Hardy make their way down to the ring. RVD and Hardy slap hands with the fans before taking microphones from Lillian, ready to cut a promo for the second time in two weeks. RVD gets a cheap pop by greeting the fans in Ohio, before Jeff speaks on his own microphone and talks about the UKonnection and how in 20 days at WrestleMania XXV, he and RVD will face DH Smith and Paul Burchill for the World Tag Team Championships. The crowd popped for this match since it is RVD’s WrestleMania return match, as Hardy goes onto say that for next Saturday at Saturday Night’s Main Event, neither of them have a match.

The crowd gives heat towards this statement as two of their favourites are not booked for WrestleMania XXV, as Hardy and RVD both smirk at this reaction. Rob then takes a microphone and then talks about the Royal Rumble of this year where Jeff lost in the WWE Championship TLC match because of Paul Burchill interfering, as the crowd erupts once again into an enormous amount of heat. RVD then said that Jeff has not had his shot at Burchill but Paul complained to Shane so now Jeff will not get his shot at Burchill. The crowd gives even more heat at this, but RVD said that there was nothing about RVD not getting revenge for his partner.

The crowd pops as Hardy and RVD smirk, as the crowd think that they know where Rob Van Dam is going with this. Rob then smiles as Jeff does likewise, as Rob then says that he proposes a match with Shane for next Saturday, where the World Tag Team Champion Paul Burchill will go one on one with man making his return to singles action, Mr. ‘Saturday’ Night, Rob Van Dam. RVD then does his hand gesture as he hands the microphone to Jeff who then hands them to Lillian, as RVD mouths ‘Think about it Shane’, as we head to another commercial break and once it has finished, Chris Jericho will go up against The Brian Kendrick and Rey Mysterio in a non title Triple Threat match.

Commercial Break

‘Booyaka 619’ hits over the speakers to a very loud pop as the Master of the 619 in Rey Mysterio makes his way down to the ring, ready for this Triple Threat match against two of the other Money in the Bank competitors. Rey passes his top mask to a fan with a Rey Mysterio mask in the first row before giving him some ‘inspiring’ words to the young Mysterio fan. Rey then slides into the ring and heads to the top rope and does his sign of the cross before pointing to all of the fans, as he soon hops down and waits for his two opponents to enter the ring.

‘Man with a Plan’ hits to strong boos as the second man that qualified for the Money in the Bank Ladder match on the RAW side of thing makes his way down to the ring. The Brian Kendrick does his cocky and silly dance all the way down to the ring as he smirks at the fans in the first couple of rows, including the boy that got the Rey Mysterio mask. Kendrick then climbs on the apron before grabbing the ropes and leaping over the top and into the ring, as Mysterio does not take his eyes off of Kendrick, the man that he drew with last week. Kendrick simply smirks at his fellow Cruiserweight, as they await his arrival.

A countdown begins as the crowd rise to their feet, 5...4...3...2...1...0! EXPLOSION! ‘BREAK THE WALLS DOWN!’ The infamous tune hits over the speakers to what is so far the biggest pop of the night, as the Intercontinental Champion and the man that defeated CM Punk last week in Chris Jericho makes his way down to the ring. Jericho makes his way down to the ring all smiles, even after his previous encounter backstage with the UKonnection leader William Regal. Jericho meets his friend Mysterio with a nod as they share glances at Kendrick, but TBK senses danger as he rolls out of the ring, leaving Jericho and Rey to start off.

Match 4
Money in the Bank Competitors Collide
Triple Threat Match
The Brian Kendrick vs. Chris Jericho vs. Rey Mysterio

Rey and Jericho look at each other as Kendrick looks a little worried, as he quickly hops out of the ring and leaves Jericho and Rey to do the work. In what was a nice display of athletic ability, the two put on quite a show, Rey hitting a quick Hurricanrana into the ropes, getting Y2J in perfect position for a quick 619 at the third minute of the match. Jericho however got up as Mysterio was charging at him as he threw Rey up, he springboarded up off the ropes and then hit a massive Flying Crossbody to Kendrick on the outside! The crowd gave a huge pop at the agility and speed of Mysterio, as a triumphant Rey turned around, right into a huge Suicide Dive by the Intercontinental Champion! The crowd gave a huge pop for the awesomeness that is Jericho, who then lifted Kendrick up and threw him into the ring.

Jericho then worked over Kendrick for the next couple of minutes, as Rey then got into the ring, causing Rey and Jericho to double team Kendrick. They hit TBK with a Double Suplex before their partnership disintegrated, as Rey went for a quick Sunset Flip Cover, but Jericho held onto the top rope, not allowing Rey to get Jericho in the cover. Rey and Jericho then traded fists, before out of nowhere, Kendrick charged at both of them and hit a dropkick, knocking them both down. Kendrick then went to the apron, most likely looking for a springboard move, but whilst he was busy taunting the fans, Jericho got up and hit Kendrick in the gut, causing him to be crouched between the ropes. Mysterio then got up as Jericho and Rey looked to have continued their partnership, as Jericho held Kendrick in the same position as Rey went onto the apron to the right of Kendrick.

The crowd rose in anticipation as they sensed that something big would happen, as Rey then springboarded off the top rope and DROPPED THE DIME ONTO A ROPE HUNG KENDRICK! The crowd erupted for Mysterio as Jericho quickly capitalized, as he hit Rey with a One Handed Bulldog and then a Lionsault, but that was only enough to get a two count! The crowd gave a mixed reaction as they obviously wanted Y2J to win, as the IC Champion held his arms out wide, supposedly looking for a Codebreaker to whoever got up first. Mysterio got up as Jericho went to Mysterio, but was given a Drop Toe Hold into the ropes, as he then connected with the 619! Kendrick also stirred after being out for two minutes, as Rey went for the Picking the Dime to Jericho, but Kendrick out of nowhere hit Rey with a heel kick at the 15 minute mark!

The crowd gave huge heat for Kendrick, who then lifted Mysterio up into a three quarter face lock, looking for the Sliced Bread, only for Y2J to get up and give him a forearm to the back as he was running, charging him into the turnbuckle. Rey was then hit a Body Slam from Jericho, as Y2J then once again threw Kendrick into the turnbuckle before getting him in a Full Nelson, looking for the Breakdown perhaps! Jericho then looked to hit the move, only for Kendrick to springboard off the second rope and fall backwards, landing on Jericho whilst still on the Full Nelson and getting Y2J in a pin. At the count of 1, however, Jericho released the Full Nelson and managed to get TBK off. Kendrick then charged at Jericho, but was hit with a Step Up Enziguiri. Jericho then looked for the Codebreaker once again only for the crowd to give ferocious heat, as Finlay was seen charging down the entrance ramp and attacked all three participants, resulting in a No Contest!

NO CONTEST

Finlay continues his assault but this time only on the two fan favourites but mainly focuses on Jericho (hoping to soften him up for Regal), but Rey eventually got up as Finlay was stomping on Jericho, and nailed him with right punches to the face. Rey then hit a Springboard Crossbody and seemed to have been the last man standing, but like what happened exactly last week on Smackdown, none other than the United States Champion Ken Doane and the ‘American Dragon’ Bryan Danielson come charging down the ramp. They hop into the ring and catch Rey by surprise, as Kendrick joins in on the fun, helping the other two heels lay Rey out. The crowd give heat as a ‘Hardy’ chant arises, and almost in response, Matt Hardy and Gregory Helms come charging down the ramp!

Kendrick and Danielson see them coming but Doane doesn’t, as Doane continues stomping on Mysterio as Danielson and TBK go to the two other Smackdown Superstars. Hardy and Helms traded fists with the two and the faces seemed to get the advantage, only for the newest Money in the Bank participant in Finlay to smash Helms in the back of the head with a shillelagh, as Hardy was then double teamed by Danielson and Kendrick, resulting in him being hit with a Butterfly Suplex. Doane then turned Mysterio over, as he then ascended to the top rope and proceeded to hit the Triple Crown Champion with a Sky High Sensation. Kendrick then went over to Jericho and lifted him up before getting him a three quarter face lock, and pointed to the ropes.

The crowd gave heat as they knew where the former Tag Team and Cruiserweight Champion was going with this, as he then did a back flip off the ropes with Jericho still in position and moved it into a Reverse DDT, completing the Sliced Bread #2. Kendrick smirked down at Jericho but when Kendrick turned around, Finlay had the shillelagh and threatened to hit TBK, but Kendrick managed to duck under and get away from the attempt to floor Kendrick. The four men are in the ring and share glances with each other as the four heels stand tall, but show that it is every man for themselves come Wrestlemania, and also in the lead up to the Money in the Bank Ladder match.

Commercial Break

Immediately after we return from the break, ‘Voices’ plays over the speakers to the biggest heat of the night (so far), as accompanied by Edge, Randy Orton makes his way down to the ring, ready for his match against his on screen mentor. The rain of pyro showers down behind Orton as he does his ‘Destiny’ pose as Orton makes his way into the ring, before getting to the middle rope and doing his infamous taunt once again. Edge also got into the ring even though he is not competing in this match, and as Orton is doing the Destiny pose, Edge does his signature ‘Corna’ hand gesture to heat from the crowd. Rated RKO and DX’s Wrestlemania 25 opponents get huge heat from the crowd, as they pose on the top rope for a good thirty seconds, before they await DX in the ring.

‘Break it Down’ then hits over the speakers once Rated RKO have settled in the ring to a huge pop from the crowd (not as big as Jericho’s simply because Y2J is awesome :p), as Triple H makes his way down to the ring. Not unlike Orton, Triple H is accompanied by his D Generation X counterpart in Shawn Michaels. HHH has a big grin on his face as HBK flashes his glow sticks around, but soon throws them to the ground as they are met by Rated RKO, denying DX to do their pre match stuff. Edge pairs up with HBK and they brawl on the entrance way as the two actual competitors in HHH and Orton brawl and eventually get into the ring as the bell rings.

Main Event
Match 5
Singles Match
Mentor vs. Protégé
Triple H w/ Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton w/ Edge

The brawl continued as the bell was rung, as Triple H gave Orton a double leg takedown and hit him with ferocious right hands. Both men got up, as Orton charged at Triple H once again, only to be knocked straight back down again after a Triple H clothesline. HBK and Edge meanwhile brought their fight to ringside, as HBK slammed Edge’s head against the steel steps, knocking Edge out for the time being. HHH continued his advantage in the ring as he worked over the leg of Orton, hitting knee drops to the knee cap of the Third Generation Superstar, before locking in a deadly Figure Four Leg Lock. Orton started to writhe in pain as Edge got up on the outside but decided not to go back to HBK, as Orton tried to get to the ropes, not wanting to submit at the six minute mark of this match against his mentor. Edge gradually leant forward on the ropes as he shouted words of advice to Orton, as Randy managed to get to the ropes which were pushed forward by Edge.

Triple H kept his advantage for not long after that, as Orton hit Trips with an Uppercut and then hit unique Backbreaker manoeuvre. Orton then hit Triple H with repeated stomps to all places of HHH’s body, before mounting HHH and hitting him with repeated punches. Orton then kept control of the match for a majority of the time, as he lifted Triple H and hit one of his perfectly placed Standing Dropkicks. Orton then stood over Triple H and then hit Triple H with repeated forearms to the chest, before throwing him back down aggressively. Orton then went onto the ground and started punching the ground, looking for his signature RKO. Orton then charged at HHH once he got up, but he was pushed off in mid air by Triple H, making him land hard on his back!

HHH then rested on the ropes as Randy made his recovery, and once Randy did get up, HHH hit Randy with a right hand, causing the fans to cheer as Randy retaliated with a right hand of his own, causing the crowd to give heat. This action was repeated various times, before Triple H took the advantage, only for Orton to give him a thumb to the eye, and then hit a Snap DDT! Orton smirks and then lifts Triple H up, only for Triple H to hit him with punches to the gut, then lift him up into a Suplex position and hit a Delayed Vertical Suplex! Both men were laid out before Triple H began to stir, and then with the aid of the ropes, the 12 time World Champion managed to get to his feet. Triple H looked to be struggling to stay on his feet, only to give Orton a DX crotch chop and wait for his recovery.

Triple H then goes for the Pedigree once Randy had gotten up, but with shades of Survivor Series 2004, Orton spun out and looked to hit an RKO. Orton was pushed into the ropes by HHH, and when he returned to Triple H, he was hit with a patented Double A Spinebuster! The crowd erupted as Triple H got pumped, only for Edge to get up on the apron. HHH approached Edge as HBK made his way over, as Edge hopped off and raised his arms innocently. Unbeknownst to Triple H, Orton had gotten up in this time, as HHH turned around, RIGHT INTO AN RKO! Orton then climbed over for the pin but was too worn out to hook the legs and at two, HHH got his foot on the bottom rope! The referee did not see this, however, as Edge took the opportunity to knock Triple H’s foot off the rope as the referee counted the last count, giving Orton the ever important victory here tonight against his former teammate!

Winner: Randy Orton

The crowd erupt into a HUGE amount of heat, as Randy Orton has stolen a victory over Triple H tonight thanks to outside interference from Edge, which went unseen by the referee! Edge slides into the ring and raises Orton’s hand after his cheap victory, but they soon scurry out as Michaels gets into the ring, as Rated RKO go to the entrance way and smirk as Triple H recovers and stares down Edge and Orton. HBK does likewise as Rated RKO have big, triumphant grins on their faces, extremely happy with Orton’s win here tonight. HHH looks to be shaking with fury at his protégé getting the best of him, as Rated RKO now look to have the upper hand ahead of WrestleMania and ahead of Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Commercial Break

Once we return from the break the crowd goes silent in anticipation, before the infamous tune of ‘Turn Up the Trouble’ hits to a bigger pop than Jericho’s (meh, he is in the Mania main event :p), as none other than the 2009 Royal Rumble winner in Mr. Kennedy makes his way down to the ring, ready for his promo. Kennedy gets into the ring arrogantly chewing his gum as always as he then melodramatically raises his arm up and ordering his EPIC~! microphone to descend, which it does. Kennedy then does his normal introducing schtick before he talks about WrestleMania, where he will face CM Punk to once again become the top of the WWE and for the first time the top of Monday Night RAW.

Kennedy talks about how in only twenty days, he will get his reward for lasting one hour at the Royal Rumble by defeating Punk at WrestleMania and winning his first WWE Championship which Punk has held for five months. Kennedy states that he actually does congratulate Punk on proving that he is not a cheap champion as he has defeated many competitors in his tenure as WWE Champion, getting heat from the crowd as Kennedy seems to be supporting his WrestleMania opponent. Mr. Kennedy then quickly counters this, saying that there is one name that is not on that list, and that is Mr. Kennedy. The crowd pops for Mr. Kennedy once again, as Kennedy then talks about next Saturday for Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Kennedy then says that the Undertaker has been one of his all time favourites, and that it will be an honour teaming with him next Saturday to face Kennedy’s past and present nemesis’, John Cena and CM Punk. Kennedy said that he knows both of the champions so well, and that it will be a walk in the park at Saturday Night’s Main Event when he teams with the Undertaker. Ken then says that at WrestleMania he is CERTAIN that Undertaker will maintain his unbeaten streak and will become the World Heavyweight Champion, whilst on the same night, Mr. Kennedy will become the new WWE Champion... CHAMPION! Kennedy goes to leave the ring, only for (unsurprisingly) ‘This Fire Burns’ to hit over the speakers as the WWE Champion CM Punk heads down to the ring.

Punk then slides into the ring, unstraps his WWE Title belt and drops it to the ground (disrespectfulness :p), as he engages in an intense stare down with Kennedy. Punk does not say a word, before taking a quick step back and hitting Kennedy with a Roundhouse Kick right to the temple! The crowd gave heat as Kennedy was immediately unconscious upon impact but somehow managed to stay on his feet as he stumbled around, right into an F-U from John Cena?!?! WHERE THE HELL DID THE WORLD CHAMPION COME FROM!? Cena and Punk begin to lay the boots into Kennedy, obviously in an attempt to soften Ken up ahead of the Champions vs. Challengers match at SNME.

An ‘Undertaker’ chant starts up but there is no sign of ‘Big Evil’, as Punk then lifts Kennedy up and gets him in a Standing Fireman’s Carry of his own, looking for a GTS, but he drops Kennedy as ‘Rollin’’ hits over the speakers to a MASSIVE pop! The Undertaker comes roaring down on his motorcycle meaning business, as he gets up off his bike but does not go in empty handed, as he rips the chain off of his bike and then slides into the ring. Undertaker is soon forced to drop his weapon as Punk and Cena jump the biker straight away, but Taker fights back, soon hitting CM Punk with a Clothesline and then nails his WrestleMania opponent in John Cena with a Big Boot. Taker quickly checks on Kennedy before turning back to Punk as he bends down, only for Punk to get Undertaker’s nearby chain and whip it across his face!

The crowd gives a ton of heat as the Undertaker falls to the mat as soon as he is hit with the chain by Punk, as Taker falls right next to his SNME tag team partner. Cena then recovers as Punk goes straight to Kennedy, lifting the 2009 Royal Rumble winner up, before hitting him straight back down again as he hits him with a Urinagi, before keeping him in position and then locking Kennedy in an Anaconda Vice. Whilst this is happening, Cena has turned Undertaker on his stomach, as Cena then seizes the leg of Undertaker, before locking in the STF-U! The crowd gives tons of heat as the top heels in the business have locked the top faces in their signature submission holds. RAW then goes off the air with Kennedy and Undertaker gasping for air, still locked in the submission holds.

Best Match: I enjoyed the Main Event but the triple threat was also a really exciting match as I like the styles of the competitors involved with it.

Worst Match: There weren't necessarily any bad matches although; out of the five matches, one ended in No Contest and two ended in DQ and I think that may have been too many non-clean finishes.

Best Promo: I liked the closing segment the best and it really creates hype for Saturday Night's Main Event as well as 'Mania.

Worst Promo: None really, as you don't write them out in full they get the message across.

Additional Comments: Like I said last time, this was a really, really enjoyable show and I really love this BTB and feel it's one of the best going around. My only complaint for this episode was the Worst Matches comment. Other than that, expect more reviews from me. :)

Cruiserweight Championship: Damn! I really loved reading your cruiserweight matches and this one is another great read from you. Good to see Noble here as a vicious competitor and not a jobber as we can see some of his awesome moves. The ending was quite okay and made the two competitors look strong towards Wrestlemania. I wonder who will be the Smackdown guy who will be inserted in the match.

Fatal Four Way Match: A nice match as you managed to mix all four men inside the ring. Regal looks strong in the match with a big surprise as he gets pinned and then he will not get a Wrestlemania match. I wish you put Burchill in the MITB but I know that Burchill/Smith vs. RVD/Hardy is a much better match to see. Looks like there is something that might happen at Wrestlemania with the four especially that their leader Regal won't be participating in any matches.

Kane vs. Brown w/ 4 Up Elijah Burke: I really liked the Marcus Cor Von name rather than Monty Brown, I am seeing a powerhouse match between the two and another DQ ending, oh well this is WWE hehe! This is my least fave match for this show.

Triple Threat Match: This match is definitely going to be a great match if it's in full. Jericho showing his "awesomeness" is uhh... awesome and looks like he somewhat dominated the match. I almost marking out for Jericho here when suddenly aww! Finlay came in and the rest of the SD guys come in... Oh well, the ending made a hype for their MITB match which is also good.

Mentor vs. Protege: Nice main event with so many interferences from Edge and then HBK the saviour :p. Good to see Orton ended a clean win here, yeah I know Edge knock his boot but still a clean finish for me lol... Hyping duty once again for Wrestlemania

Ending Promo: This Promo is definitely good. A nice hype for Wrestlemania and SNME with an awesome ending seeing the heels lock the faces.

To top it all: So many hypes were done for Wrestlemania here, your two main events is going to be a big one and I am also looking forward to the DX vs. R-RKO match. Good job in this show, I am looking forward to Wrestlemania.

OK, time for an update for all you guys. First off, I would like to thank all of you for your reviews, much appreciated and I should get to giving a late return to them in the next few days. Reviews for RAW are still welcome. Yesterday, I was not on due to my bitch of a laptop shutting off unexpectedly and then not starting up, and it did this morning, as if nothing was wrong with it, everything was normal. I had been working on WrestleMania and Smackdown when my laptop shut off, and because it is such a bitch, I lost the 2000+ word ending of my Money in the Bank Ladder match, my Kane vs. ??? Brand Surpremacy match and all of my work on Smackdown, so not surprisingly, I am extremely pissed at the moment. I have started to work on it just now, but yeh, in my opinion that work on the Money in the Bank Ladder match was my best ever work and I am not sure if I can write to that standard once again, so expect it to take a while before Smackdown to be up. Sorry for the wait guys, I am EXTREMELY pissed beyond belief, but I guess I should be grateful that I did not lose the whole thing. Sorry for the wait on Smackdown guys, but it will take a while :(.

Y2J.

^ That's pretty shitty. Did you just not save or did your comp screw up and delete it regardless. That sucks though, and props to you for continuing. If it was me I'd probably quit the BTB.

That seriously sucks; that nearly happened to my PPV the other month but it's good that you aren't discouraged and are going at it again.

Damn... that's just too sad! One suggestion I could give is try to transfer your work to your email ad for back-up. It works for me, I almost lost my work when writing Adrenaline Rush but fortunately I able to save a back-up on my yahoo account.

I hope you can recover quickly and solve your problem. I am here to support still buddy.

Delayed updates for the win IMO.

Anyways, the plan for me was to start Smackdown after I finished my Money in the Bank Ladder match, which I managed to do on Friday night. I managed to make my MITB match 300 words more than my original, but I don't really care about that as Quality OWNS Quantity IMO. So yah, Smackdown has been started but not much work on it, expect a preview in a couple of days if all goes to plan.

Good to see you still have the motivation after what happened, hands down to that. If that happened to me, I might start writing after a long week break. Good luck with this man.

^ So is the quality of the MITB match worse than the original in your opinion or is it about the same. Because I'm sure it would be good either way but what do you think about the match that you re-wrote. Quantity means absolutely nothing btw, if anything, longer matches turn people off in chunks. Btw, don't worry about Smackdown as the quality of Wrestlemania is much more important in my eyes. Focus on making WM 25 all the more special and not on SD being up to scratch. Also take your time, I have seen times when people rushed to put up shows before a PPV as they were of poor quality. (and I am going to do that but dont call me a hypocrite as I have lost interest in my BTB and I a getting back into it) So like, good luck!

Oh yeh, finally it is up :D.

Friday Night Smackdown

Smackdown begins with the traditional video package highlighting the recent events which have shaken up Smackdown these past couple of weeks, with the package first showing the end of the opening singles match last week between JBL and Trevor Murdoch, where Bradshaw won easily after a Clothesline from Hell, before he attempted to send a message to the Big Show by destroying Murdoch in the aftermath, only for Show to interfere but got his {fat} ass handed to him thanks to a microphone and a steel chair. We then cut to the Evan Bourne and Zack Ryder match, where Bourne kept his undefeated streak running after hitting Ryder with an incredible Belly to Belly Moonsault Slam off the top rope which he calls the Cyclorama. Glimpses of the Rated RKO promo are displayed, followed by shots of the Triple H and Randy Orton match on RAW, where Orton won thanks to cheap interference from Edge. The Money in the Bank Ladder Qualifying match highlights are shown where Matt Hardy faced off against Kofi Kingston, where after Kofi deliberately laid out the referee, Matt hit Kofi with a Side Effect on a steel chair which Kingston brought in and then a Twist of Fate, getting the win and booking himself a spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder match. We are then shown the Fatal 4 Way match with one man representing one team from the WWE Tag Team Championship match from WrestleMania, where Jindrak won after a Mark of Excellence to WWE Tag Team Champion Psicosis to get the win.

Highlights of last week’s main event are then shown which also happened to be Nash Miller’s debut match, where he faced off against none other than the Undertaker. A lead up to the huge events that occurred at the end of the match are shown, where Cena clobbered the Undertaker in the back with his World Heavyweight Title, trying to win Miller over after Nash said that he was not on Cena’s side earlier on in the night, instead saying that he was on his own. Undertaker then stumbled right into Miller, who Flapjacked him up and nailed him with a sickening Uppercut on his descent. Cena then tried to celebrate with Miller after getting the pin, only for Cena to be given a Chokeslam Backbreaker and a Swinging Reverse STO (labelled the Imprisonment), as Miller then stood tall over the two competitors of Smackdown’s WrestleMania Main Event, as Nash hoisted the World Heavyweight Championship up high. A video then cuts to what happened on RAW where Mr. Kennedy and Punk had a huge confrontation, only for Cena to give Kennedy an Attitude Adjustment before initiating a two on one assault in an attempt to soften Kennedy for the Champions vs. Challengers Tag Team match for Saturday Night’s Main Event. The video package then shows the Undertaker roaring down to the ring on his motorbike, but it turned into a failed save attempt as Punk smashed Taker in the face with his own bike chain. A shot is then shown of the champions locking in their respective submission holds to their respective WrestleMania challengers, as the screen then fades to black.

Instead of being greeted to the usual video package of the Smackdown Superstars, we are in Theodore Long’s office, where Nash Miller is standing. The crowd greets Miller with quite a large mixed reaction as he has made quite the impression in the two weeks he has been here in the WWE, as Miller demands that after Miller destroyed both Undertaker and John Cena, he should be included in the WrestleMania main event. Miller says that last week, he defeated a ‘legend’ of this business in his first ever match and laid out the World Champion, but Long instantly put rest to the idea, as Undertaker went through nine other men to win the opportunity, and that Miller only defeated Taker because of Cena interference. Understandably, Miller was pissed once Long revealed that the WrestleMania main event would not be changed, as he told Long ‘that he would pay’ as Miller then stormed off. Smackdown then cuts to the video set to the tune of Black Stone Cherry’s ‘Lonely Train’, before the pyrotechnics go off and the last Smackdown before Saturday Night’s Main Event begins!

The new announce team of Jonathan Coachman and Tazz welcome us to the show, as Coach and Tazz talk about the huge night ahead, where a huge main event has been confirmed for tonight: that match being RAW’s WWE Champion CM Punk going head to head with none other than the Undertaker! Tazz and Coach also talk about last week in the opening match where Trevor Murdoch went one on one with JIBBLES, and tonight, in a warm up match for Layfield’s Street Fight against the Big Show, we would see a rematch of JBL and Murdoch, but this time the match will be a Street Fight, and just like last week, it will open the show. The camera cuts to the middle of the ring where Murdoch is already, awaiting JBL for the second week in a row.

Various bell rings ring out across the arena to major heat as it can only mean one thing before ‘Longhorn’ plays and surely enough, none other than the Self Proclaimed Wrestling God in John Bradshaw Layfield makes his way down to the ring, all smiles as he seemed to have found Murdoch an easy opponent last week. Layfield does his signature Texas Two Step cockily all the way down the entrance ramp as he makes his way to the ring to which he slides into, as he raises his arms to heat from the crowd. JBL then looks around at the former World Tag Team Champion and simply smirks, as the bell rings to signify the start of this match.

Match 1
Street Fight
JBL vs. Trevor Murdoch

The match starts off with Murdoch instantly going on the offensive, taking his opponent of last week in JBL off guard. Murdoch hits JBL with various strikes before hitting a kick to the sternum, before he bounces off the ropes, but when he returns, JBL uses the no DQ rule to full effect straight away, hitting Trevor with a low blow! JBL smirked as he then rakes Murdoch in the eyes, before hitting him with a scoop slam. JBL then rolls out of the ring and searches under it, finally emerging with a kendo stick and a garbage can. JBL throws them into the ring but is not done, as he heads over to where Tony Chimel is standing, as JBL takes the timekeeper’s chair. JBL then threw that it into the ring also and got into the ring, as he lifted up the trash can lid, and once Murdoch got up, he was clobbered in the face with the trash can lid!

For basically the whole match it was JBL apart from little spurs of life shown by Murdoch, as Layfield used these three weapons to perfection. Murdoch, however, managed to get a hold of the kendo stick when he had been knocked down with a Vertical Suplex, as he hit an unaware JBL in the face with it. Murdoch then looked to capitalize on his best opportunity of the match, but just like all of his previous attempts, they were thwarted by JBL, this time in the form of a spine tingling chair shot right to the forehead, which busted the former Tag champion wide open and put him in serious trouble.

JBL then had complete control from here on out, as he seized up his options, before pointing to the kendo stick. With the kendo stick in one hand, JBL lifted up Murdoch before he locked Murdoch in an innovative Abdominal Stretch, using the kendo stick for support. Murdoch looked to give in but JBL found it too easy as he let Trevor go, as he then lifted up the steel chair and nailed him in the gut with it, before hitting him with another vicious shot, straight to the gash of Murdoch. JBL didn’t finish there, however, as he then got the trash can, as he set Murdoch up BEFORE CONNECTING WITH A POWERBOMB ONTO THE TRASH CAN! JBL then lifted a helpless Murdoch up even though the cover would have gotten him the win, and one stiff yet vicious Clothesline from Hell later, JBL was the victor.

Winner: JBL

JBL gives one of his signature million dollar smiles as he looks down at the unconscious Trevor Murdoch. Layfield then takes a microphone, before he states that this was only an example of what the Big Show will get handed to him at WrestleMania, as JBL says that tonight he ‘wasn’t even trying’. Layfield was then about to hand the microphone back to a stagehand, before ‘Crank It Up’ blasts over the speakers to a big (no pun intended) pop, as the Big Show emerges from the back, a bandage on his forehead after the events that occurred last week. Layfield smirks as if he was expecting Show’s arrival as he picks up the steel chair which he used in the match to such great effect and went to hit Show with it as he entered the ring, only for Show to smash the chair into the face of JBL with a straight right hand punch! The crowd gave a huge pop, as Show picked JBL up straight after this, before dropping him straight back down with a Chokeslam! The crowd pops as Big Show is all business before ‘Crank It Up’ plays over the speakers once again to a big pop, as we head to a commercial break.

Commercial Break

Once we return from the customary first commercial, we are greeted with a ‘Before the Break’ video package, where JBL literally demolished former World Tag Team Champion Trevor Murdoch for the second time in two weeks, this time in a Street Fight. We then cut to a rather detailed part of the video package where the aftermath of the match is shown, where when JBL was just about to leave the ring, the Big Show’s music blasted over the speakers, as JBL smirked when Show emerged from the back, looking like the walking wounded after the assault handed to him by JBL last week with the steel chair. JBL is shown waiting for the Big Show in the ring with a steel chair that he used in the match, only for the chair to be blasted back into his face with a straight right hand followed by a Chokeslam, as a certain measure of revenge was dealt to JBL. Once Big Show is shown hitting the Chokeslam, we return to Coach and Tazz talk about WrestleMania 25, which is two Smackdown’s away.

The new pairing of Smackdown announcers begin to run down the stacked WrestleMania card, first briefly highlighting the {only} two Raw exclusive matches, them being the World Tag Team Title match between Rob Van Dam and Jeff Hardy up against two members of the UKonnection in Paul Burchill and DH Smith, and of course the huge main event, the Royal Rumble Winner of 2009 and former Smackdown Superstar Mr. Kennedy against the WWE Champion CM Punk. The announcers then talk about how this WrestleMania card is dominated by Interbrand matches, which are the Money in the Bank Ladder match, DX vs. Rated RKO, the Brand Supremacy match where Smackdown’s Superstar will be confirmed tonight and also the Cruiserweight Championship Triple Threat match, where Smackdown’s competitor will again be confirmed tonight. Coach and Tazz then go in depth about the Smackdown exclusive matches {the three of them}, which are the Street Fight between the Big Show and JBL, the WWE Tag Team Title match between the World’s Greatest Tag Team, Jesse and Festus, Cade and Jindrak and the Mexicools, as well as {of course} the World Heavyweight Championship match, Title vs. Streak, John Cena vs. the Undertaker. Coach then talks about Nash Miller’s involvement in this feud, before saying up next, he would be in action!

Commercial Break

Once we return from the break, we see a man in the ring looking extremely scared, resembling the looks of ECW’s residential JOBBAH~! Colin Delaney. The young man continues to look to his sides seemingly not out of stage fright but rather the man that he will face tonight, as Tony Chimel announces the man in the ring as SJ Reynolds {SJ stands for SOME JOBBAH~! imo}. Reynolds begins to look around, before ‘Hell Will be Callin’ Your Name’ blasts over the speakers, as Reynolds cowers once the {seemingly dreaded} music hits.

Nash Miller then emerges from the back to quite a large amount of heat {especially for a youngster like Miller} although there are some audible pops around the arena, ready for his second ever match on Smackdown. Miller keeps his eyes focussed on the ring, intent on destroying anybody who stands in his way on his quest to become the World Heavyweight Champion. Miller stares daggers through Reynolds as Miller slides into the ring, wanting to keep the disturbing promise he made to Long earlier on in the night when Long refused the request to put Miller in the World Championship match.

Match 2
Nash Miller vs. SJ Reynolds

Reynolds cowered in the corner to start off the match as Miller gave a devilish smirk in the direction, as he then pounced at Reynolds, hitting him with vicious body shots in the corner, before flinging him out of the corner and all the way across the ring. Miller then lifted Reynolds up and dominated him all over, as Miller used his boxing background to quite simply annihilate the jobber that goes by the name of SJ Reynolds. Miller then used some wrestling moves in his repertoire, as he hit Reynolds with a nice Suplex, crushing the back of Reynolds against the mat. Miller, wasting no time, then lifts Reynolds up and applies a Bear Hug.

Reynolds gasped for air as Miller locked the submission hold in with all of his might , as when it looks like Reynolds could not take the punishment any longer and would tap, Miller lifted Reynolds up and nailed him with a Modified yet very effective Spinebuster. Reynolds looked in severe trouble on the mat, as Miller once again lifts Reynolds, as Miller took a step back, before Miller nearly took Reynolds’ head off with a straight right hand Knockout punch! Reynolds’ lights were out as soon as Miller prevents SJ from falling down, as Nash pushes him across the ropes, and then Flapjacks him in the air upon arrival. The crowd what is coming next, as when Reynolds comes down, Miller completes the devastating Flapjack into Elevated Uppercut!

Winner: Nash Miller

Miller then looks down at the completely demolished Reynolds after that huge Elevated Uppercut shot, before Miller shakes his head and sports an evil smirk, signifying he is not done just yet. Miller then aggressively lifts the helpless Reynolds up and wraps his right hand around the throat of Reynolds, before hitting SJ with a Chokeslam Backbreaker! The crowd gives a large mixed reaction at this as they know what is coming next, as he keeps Reynolds on his knee, before lifting him back up and connects with a Swinging Reverse STO, completing the Imprisonment! The crowd gives an even bigger mixed reaction as Nash simply stared down at Reynolds, as we go to another commercial break.

Commercial Break

We return from the commercial break as the camera pans around the arena, before ‘Virtual Voodoo’ hits over the speakers to a nice pop, as the returning Umaga makes his way down to the ring, making his first appearance since the Royal Rumble. Umaga heads down to the ring for this important match up as he looks to book himself a spot at WrestleMania and his second Brand Supremacy match in two years. Umaga gets into the ring and bellows out a signature ‘SAMOA!’, before he waits for Kofi Kingston in the ring.

‘SOS’ hits over the speakers to a considerable amount of heat, as the somewhat sadistic Jamaican and former Cruiserweight Champion in Kofi Kingston makes his way out from the back and towards the ring, looking to capitalize on what is his last opportunity at getting a spot on his first WrestleMania. Kofi is unintimidated by the large presence of his opponent, as Kofi does not break eye contact with the Samoan Bulldozer and former Intercontinental Champion, as Kofi then slides into the ring. The referee then rings the bell, and this match-up is underway.

Match 3
Winner goes on to represent Smackdown in Battle of the Brands
Umaga vs. Kofi Kingston

Kofi wasted little time in attempting to knock down the much larger Umaga, as he leapt at him with punches and forearms, showing great energy in the early going. Umaga was taken off guard by this and Kofi continued with his aerial offence, hitting a dropkick which sent Umaga across the ring. Kofi then got up and hit Umaga with more forearms to the face followed by a nice roundhouse kick, as Umaga merely stumbled after the amount of offence that Kofi is using. Kofi then goes to hit Umaga with a crossbody off of the ropes, only for Mags to catch him and then execute a perfectly placed and manoeuvred Swinging Side Slam! The crowd pops at Umaga taking the advantage after the first real offensive move in this match, as Umaga then takes control from tis point onwards.

Umaga used his power to wear down Kingston, but on every occasion for when Umaga went to finish Kingston with a Samoan Spike, Kingston always managed to dodge the deadly move. At the 7 minute mark Umaga went for his Running Hip Attack in the corner, only for Kofi to roll to the outside of the ring at the last possible second, causing Umaga’s butt to smash into the ring post. Kofi then stands up on the apron as he goes for a Springboard Crossbody once Umaga turns around, only for Umaga to reverse into a HUGE Samoan Drop to Kofi! The crowd popped as Umaga capitalized on this opportunity, as he bounced off the ropes and hit Kofi with a big Body Splash, but that was only enough to get a two count.

Umaga then continued to work over Kingston with his strength, as the former Cruiserweight Champion did all that he could do to prevent himself from succumbing to Umaga’s offence, but it most cases was unsuccessful. Umaga set Kofi up for the Samoan Wrecking Ball once again and this managed to connect, but Kofi managed to kick out at two at the 11 minute mark. Umaga was surprised that Kofi had managed to kick out of this as the big man pulled Kofi closer to one of the turnbuckles before Umaga climbed it. Umaga then went for a Top Rope Body Splash, but Kofi this time managed to get out of the way, as Umaga smacked the mat!

Both men took a while to get up as Kingston got up with the aid of the ropes as he rested in the corner, as a recovered Umaga seized the opportunity by going for his modified Stinger Splash, only for Kofi to once again evade the move! Kofi then looked to put Umaga away, as he connected with a devastating 450 Kick, as Umaga somehow managed to stay on his feet, as Kofi hits another 450 Kick! This knocks Umaga out as Kingston climbs over the cover, but Umaga found some way to kick out! Kofi was shocked at Umaga kicking out of not one but two 450 Kicks, as he then went to hit Umaga with a Jamaican Driver, but Umaga floated over the top off Kingston and hit him with a Samoan Spike! Umaga then climbed over for the cover, and it was academic!

Winners: Umaga

The bell then rings to signify the end of the match after Umaga’s deadly Samoan Spike put Kofi away, as the crowd pop for the confirmation of Umaga vs. Kane at WrestleMania 25. ‘Virtual Voodoo’ plays once again over the speakers as Umaga lets out another loud bellow, as Kofi is helps out of the ring by the referee. Umaga then goes to leave the ring also, only for ‘Slow Chemical’ to play over the speakers, as Raw’s Kane emerges from the back, confronting his WrestleMania opponent. Kane enters the ring via over the top rope as the two engage in a huge stare down, before Kane does his signature fire pyro out of the ring posts, before we head to a commercial break, the two still engaged in a stare down.

Commercial Break

Once we return from the break, we head to the RAW Rebound, where it first starts off with the Cruiserweight Championship match between Jamie Noble and Paul London, where London won after Noble did not break the 5 count after choking London in the corner, getting Paul the disqualification victory. We are then shown the announcement of the Triple Threat Cruiserweight Title match for WrestleMania, before a recap of the UKonnection Fatal 4 Way is shown, where Finlay came out the victor and since Smith and Burchill were not pinned, they were confirmed to face Hardy and RVD at WrestleMania. A short recap of the announcement of the Intercontinental Title match at SNME and the Kane vs. Monty Brown match is shown, before we are shown the Triple Threat match between TBK, Y2J and Rey, which went to a No Contest after the Money in the Bank competitors interfered, where in the end the heels stood tall. A recap of Triple H vs. Randy Orton is displayed, where both Orton and Edge used cheap tactics to get Randy the win over his ‘mentor’. Glimpses of the Kennedy promo are shown before interference from the WWE and World Champions, and after failed interference from the Undertaker, CM Punk and John Cena stood tall to end RAW and this video package.

Once the RAW Rebound finishes we cut to another video package, this video very similar to the one seen on RAW, detailing both past and present Saturday Night Main Event’s, featuring Superstars of the yester year such as Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan and Cowboy Bob to stars of the present and future such as Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, Edge, Randy Orton and Jeff Hardy. Shots are shown of the four main men of the WrestleMania and Saturday Night’s Main Event card as well as RVD and JBL, where just like on RAW’s video package, Taker is shown hitting the Last Ride, Punk hitting the GTS, Cena hitting the FU, JBL hitting a Clothesline from Hell, RVD hitting a Five Star from off of the top rope and Kennedy hitting the Mic Check. Match graphics are shown of the Special Referee match between Noble and the Smackdown Cruiserweight to be determined with the Cruiserweight Champion as Guest Referee, and the Intercontinental Championship match between Chris Jericho and William Regal. The last match graphic is shown, this one being the Champions vs. Challengers match, before a four way split screen is shown of Punk and Cena raising their respective titles, Kennedy doing his pre match schtick and Undertaker roaring down the ramp on his motorbike, before the video fades to black.

Once this video package ends, we head to the back, where we see Maria is in the back, before she welcomes none other than the two men that will team together tonight in Bryan Danielson and the United States Champion Ken Doane. Before Maria can even ask one question, she is forced to exit by the two arrogant heels, as they talk about how tonight in their tag team match, it will be an easy win against Hardy and Helms. Doane then goes onto talk about WrestleMania 25, where he will win the Money in the Bank briefcase, only for Bryan to cut him off. In a rather abrupt ending, Danielson tells Doane that even though tonight they are tag team partners, at WrestleMania, Bryan will win the Money in the Bank briefcase, and after that, he will have no regrets when he takes the United States Championship off of Doane before going on to become the World Champion. Bryan then walks out, as Doane looks confused by this statement as we go back into the arena.

‘Gonna Punch Someone Tonight’ hits over the speakers to a moderate pop, as Smackdown’s Residential Redneck in Jimmy Wang Yang makes his way down to the ring, ready for this Battle Royal. Wang Yang takes off his signature black cowboy hat and throws it into the crowd for them to fight over, as he then slides into the ring and poses on the top rope. Yang then hops down and goes to the top rope opposite before raising his arms up, as Tazz tells us that after the break, we would see the Cruiserweight Championship Battle Royal, where the winner will face London and Noble for the CW Championship.

Commercial Break

Once we return from another commercial break we see that two more men have entered the ring, them being the Miz and Yang’s tag team partner, the ‘Reject’ Shannon Moore. Miz looks somewhat worried in the ring as he exchanges glances back and forth between Shannon and Yang, as the three men in the ring await for the next couple of men to make their ways out to the ring, as they know how vital this match is, as it is their last chance at gaining a spot on the card of the ‘Granddaddy of ‘Em All’.

‘In the Middle of it Now’ hits over the speakers to heat as members of the crowd are somewhat confused, as both Hawkins and Ryder emerge from the back with big smirks on their faces. Chimel reads out both men’s respective weights as Tazz said that the two have seemingly ‘lost some weight’ so they could compete in this match. Both men slide into the ring and go in opposite corners, before doing their ‘master’ Edge’s hand taunt, that being the ‘Corna’ hand symbol. The two men then step back into the centre of the ring, awaiting the last man.

‘Axeman’ hits over the speakers to somewhat of a huge reaction, as none other than the very exciting Cruiserweight and undefeated Evan Bourne makes his way out to the ring, ready to book a spot at his first WrestleMania and his first title match. Hawkins and Ryder turn serious for the time being as they stare at Bourne making his way down to the ring very enthusiastically, as they remember the times in which they have been embarrassed by Bourne in the past couple of weeks.

Match 4
Cruiserweight Over the Top Rope Battle Royal
Winner heads to the Triple Threat Cruiserweight Title Match at WrestleMania
Evan Bourne vs. Jimmy Wang Yang vs. the Miz vs. Curt Hawkins vs. Zack Ryder vs. Shannon Moore

{Like my last Battle Royal, I will just write out how the Superstars got eliminated}

ELIMINATION 1

To start the match the Rated R Superstars surprisingly did not go for Bourne but rather went for the other tag team of Yang and Moore, leaving Bourne and the Miz to go at it. Miz tried everything in his might to get rid of Bourne, but when he tried to lift Evan over the top and to the floor, Bourne used Miz’s momentum as he rolled through, sending the Miz out of the match at the 2 minute mark!

Elimination: The Miz

ELIMINATION 2

Bourne then pulled Ryder away from his fight with Yang as he began to wear him down with some punches as Jimmy went over to help his partner Moore, who was being beaten down on in the corner. Hawkins looked to throw Shannon over the top by Wang Yang came for the save as he went for a heel kick to send Ryder over and out, but Ryder somehow saw Yang coming and dodged the bullet, as Jimmy inadvertently hit his partner, sending him over the top rope and to the floor at the 6 minute mark!

Elimination: Shannon Moore

ELIMINATION 3

Moore was extremely pissed on the outside as Jimmy was shocked at what he had done, as Moore argued with Jimmy on the outside. Moore then got on the apron and started yelling at Yang, before he slapped him in the face! Moore dropped down from the apron and told him to turn around, and after just one minute of his {former?} partner’s elimination, Ryder came from behind of Yang and lifted him over the top rope!

Elimination: Jimmy Wang Yang

ELIMINATION 4

Bourne turned around and saw that Yang had just been eliminated, meaning that it was a two on one disadvantage for Bourne. Evan decided to go for Ryder, only for Hawkins to come from behind Bourne and hit him with repeated forearms to the back, as the two on one assault began. The Rated R Superstars used various double team moves to try and put Bourne away as after a Double Suplex, they attempted to get Bourne over the top rope, but the resilient Bourne held on. Ryder then told Hawkins to put Bourne against the rope so he could Clothesline him over, only for Bourne to move away at the last possible second and pulled the rope down, causing Ryder to be eliminated.

Elimination:
Zack Ryder

ELIMINATION 5

Bourne smirked as he saw Ryder smacking the mats on the outside out of frustration, before he saw Hawkins out of the corner of his eye advancing on him. However, it was too late for Bourne to take action, as Hawkins thumbed him in the eye before he got him in a Pumphandle position to try and send him over, but ala Rey Mysterio at the Royal Rumble in 2006, Bourne flipped forward in a Modified Headscissors and held onto the top rope, sending Hawkins over the top rope and into Ryder, getting Bourne the victory!

Winner: Evan Bourne

Hawkins and Ryder are both shocked and open mouthed on the outside as they know that their plan has been foiled here tonight, as not only have neither of them got a Cruiserweight Championship shot, but Bourne has taken that spot! Evan is ecstatic at his victory here tonight as he knows that he is heading to WrestleMania 25 to compete in his first title match and first WrestleMania, as Hawkins and Ryder take it amongst themselves as to whose fault it was. Bourne smirks at the two arguing on the outside as he lets out one last smirk, as we head to another commercial break.

Commercial Break

When we return from the break as ‘Firestorm’ begins to play over the speakers to a nice pop, as the Number 1 Contender for the United States Championship in Gregory Helms makes his way out to the ring, ready for this huge tag team match between Smackdown’s Money in the Bank Ladder match competitors. Helms enters the ring by heading through the middle and top ropes, before raising his arms to a pop from the crowd. Helms then takes his place in the corner, waiting for his tag partner and opponent to emerge.

‘Live for the Moment’ blasts over the speakers to a huge pop for the fan favourite, as none other than the former United States Champion in Matt Hardy makes his way down to the ring. Matt does his usual V1 taunt to a pop from the crowd as the camera shows many fans doing the same thing in ‘Hardy Boyz’ T- Shirts, as Matt then enters the ring and slaps hands with his real life friend. Hardy and Helms then wait for their opponents to arrive, who also happen to be 2 of their 6 WrestleMania opponents.

‘Pure Control A’ then hits over the speakers to a very large amount of heat as unlike their opponents, BOTH Ken Doane and Bryan Danielson make their way out to the ring, even after the previous dissention between the two. Doane and Danielson begin to walk down to the ring, telling off the fans, only for the fans to begin to pop, as they see that none other than REY MYSTERIO AND CHRIS JERICHO are running down the ramp, as in a reverse from past Monday’s RAW, the Raw Superstars are attacking the Smackdown Superstars.

Jericho goes straight to his fellow Midcard champion in Doane whilst Rey goes for Danielson, as Finlay and the Brian Kendrick emerge from the back and enter the fray, preventing this match from getting underway! Hardy and Helms now exit the ring and join in on the brawl, as Jericho nails Doane with a slam onto the metal ramp, as he takes a ladder out from under the ring! Jericho then looks to slam the ladder down on Doane, only for TBK to take it off of him and slam him in the gut with the ladder, before driving it down into the ribs of Doane! Kendrick thought he had full control as he had the ladder, only for Rey to dropkick the ladder right into the face of Kendrick! It is one big clusterfuck on the outside of the ring, as Hardy throws Danielson aggressively into the steel steps, before lifting him back up and connecting with a Side Effect! Hardy seemed pleased with what he had done, only to be blasted in the face with the shillelagh, as Rey then follows suit, as he too is blasted in the face with the shillelagh! Finlay gives a toothy smile as he sees the carnage on the outside of the ring, as Helms goes to hit Finlay, but Finlay ducks and hits Helms in the back of the leg with his shillelagh, continuing his assault and domination over the other 7 Money in the Bank competitors.

Doane and Jericho then begin to get up as Finlay takes his eyes off of the Number 1 Contender for the United States Championship, as Jericho is the first to get up. Finlay looks to soften Jericho up for his UKonnection counterpart in William Regal for next Saturday, as he hits Jericho with a shillelagh shot to the sternum, before hitting Jericho with an Emerald Fusion onto the metal ramp! Whilst this was happening, Doane had fully recovered, as he seizes the ladder which did the most damage to him, as he blasts the momentum- filled Finlay with the ladder, right across the face! Doane then throws the ladder down triumphantly as he seems to be the last man standing out of every member of the Money in the Bank Ladder match, but when he turns around, he sees that on the apron, even after being smacked in the back of leg with the shillelagh, that Gregory Helms has made his way to the top rope, before connecting with a Nightmare on Helms Street to the outside onto his rival! The crowd gives an amazing pop for Helms as he is triumphant over his seven WrestleMania opponents. Helms looks to go to the back, but in all of the commotion, the United States Title which belongs to Doane was dropped. Helms then eyes the title on the ground for a good 10 seconds, before picking it up and raises it high above his head, as we head to yet another commercial break.

Commercial Break

Once we return from the commercial break, we hear the familiar tune of ‘2 Z Top’ beginning to play, before none other than Lance Cade makes his way down the ramp and towards the ring, ready for this Fatal 4 Way match. Cade walks down the ramp with his usual swagger, seemingly confident after his new partner in Mark Jindrak managed to win his first match back last week, which was also a Fatal 4 Way match. Cade then gets into the ring before raising his arms up high in the air as the crowd gives him quite a large amount of heat as he is the only heel in this match, as Cade now awaits his four opponents.

‘We’re Not Mexican, We’re Mexicool’ then blasts over the speakers to a nice pop, as on his signature Juan Deere lawnmower, the WWE Tag Team Champion of 5 months in Super Crazy makes his way down to the ring. Crazy does two laps of the ring on his customized lawnmower before he hops out and ascends to the top rope, pointing to the fans in the sold out arena. Crazy then flips off of the top rope and into the ring as he stares down Cade, who quite simply smirks, thinking that Crazy will be easy pickings in this match with two other competitors as well as Crazy.

‘Biscuits and Gravy’
then hits over the speakers as the majority of the fans in the arena rise to their feet as the music, as the demented yet deadly Festus storms down the ramp. Without Jesse there to {somewhat} control Festus, the ‘Corn Fed Colossus’ storms down the ramp and then enters the ring over the top rope, as the referee attempts to calm Festus down, which barely walks. Festus has his eyes sight on Lance after the events of two weeks ago, and unlike before with Super Crazy, Cade is somewhat scared at the monster targeting him.

‘Ain’t No Stopping Us Now!' hits over the speakers to the loudest pop of this match as a shower of gold pyro follows, as the former WWE Tag Team and Intercontinental Champion in Shelton Benjamin makes his way down to the ring. One half of the World’s Greatest Tag Team slaps hands with the eager fans in the first few rows, as Benjamin then slides into the ring and occupies the now only free corner. Lance looks around from Crazy to Shelton to the crazy Festus, and realises that 6 eyes are staring at him. Before he can react, the bell rings, and this match is underway!

Match 5
Fatal 4 Way Match
WWE Tag Team Champion Super Crazy vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Lance Cade vs. Festus

To start off the match, Festus went straight after Cade which left Shelton and the smaller Super Crazy to battle it out, as Cade slid out of the ring to try and avoid Festus. However, Festus hopped out of the ring and chased Cade around the ring like a man on a mission, whilst in the ring Crazy and Shelton used their similar styles to wear each other down, as Shelton managed to connect with a Powerslam after a series of reversals between the two. Cade then slid in the ring quickly followed by Festus, as Festus clotheslined Cade down to the mat. With a full head of steam, Festus knocked Benjamin down with a clothesline as well, before lifting up Cade again and hits him with a Military Press!

The much larger Festus worked over all three of his opponents for the next few minutes, almost getting the win with a Scoop Slam and then his unique Running Double Thigh Drop to Cade, only for both Crazy and Benjamin to break up the count, angering him even further. Festus maintained his advantage on the match until the about the 8 minute mark, as he was then somewhat triple teamed by his opponents, ending in him being given a double back body drop over the top rope and to the floor by Shelton and Crazy, smacking the mats on the outside with extreme force. This then left the three men in the ring to battle it out, as Shelton hit the WWE Tag Team Champion with a Suplex, only for Cade to come behind him following this and hit him with a rough looking Back Suplex.

Cade then worked over his two remaining opponents in the ring as he concentrated more so on the bigger Shelton Benjamin, working over his back. Cade occasionally went over Crazy to knock him back down so he could continue working on Benjamin, as Festus just began to stir. Cade then lifted Shelton up, before knocking the former Intercontinental and World Tag Team Champion down with a nicely placed Big Boot. Cade then went over to Crazy and lifted him up before kicking him in the gut, as he then set him up in position for a Powerbomb. Crazy, however, seemed to have sensed this move coming, as he flipped backwards, executing a picture perfect Hurricanrana to the former World Tag Team Champion! The crowd gave a nice pop for this move as Cade has now lost momentum and the advantage, as Crazy then kips up!

Crazy then heads up to the top rope to go for a Moonsault on Cade, only for Lance to spring up and push Crazy off of the top rope, sending him to the outside. Festus in the meantime has began to recover and has made his way onto the apron, only for Cade to see this and give a smirk. Cade then reaches into his boot, before pulling out a lead pipe, identical to the one that he used three weeks ago with Jindrak against Jesse and Festus! Cade then approaches Festus, before smashing him in the face with the lead pipe! Cade smirks as Festus drops back down and Cade throws the pipe, ONLY TO TURN RIGHT INTO THE PAYDIRT! Shelton then climbs over for the cover and he hooks both legs for the win!

Winner: Shelton Benjamin

The crowd gives a big pop at Shelton getting the victory in this match up after pinning the loud mouth Cade, as Shelton celebrates his well deserved victory. Shelton then hops down from the top rope after posing a little bit for the fans as he sees that his partner in Charlie Haas has made his way out, as Charlie slaps hands with his long time tag team partner. ‘World’s Greatest’ continues to play over the speakers to a big pop as Charlie and Shelton leave the ring, leaving one half of their WrestleMania opponents in their wake.

Commercial Break

Once we return from the commercial break, we go to the announce table, where Coach is looking somewhat sombre, as he and Tazz announce that after the events that took place on RAW in their main event, Teddy Long and Shane McMahon have come to an agreement, as DX and Rated RKO are prohibited from entering the arena tonight, due to the General Manager’s not wanting both teams to boil over here tonight. Coach expresses his extremely bad mood at Rated RKO not being here tonight before we head to a video package, highlighting the feud dating back to 2006 between the two teams.

This video dates back to June of 2006, where Shawn Michaels and Triple H reunited, reforming DX in the process. A recap is shown of Michaels and HHH costing Edge the World Title in a Steel Cage match on RAW after Shawn Superkicked the door into Edge’s head, and the next week, Edge sided with Randy Orton to form Rated RKO. Over the next few months, the two teams were at each other’s throats, as Rated RKO handed DX their first loss as a team at Cyber Sunday 2006 with the help of Eric Bischoff. Rated RKO then won the World Tag Team Titles off of Flair and Piper and were to defend them against DX at New Year’s Revolution of 2007, where Triple H tore his quadriceps as the match came to an abrupt end, but DX still managed to destroy Rated RKO with the aid of a steel chair, a sledgehammer and the announce table. Due to Triple H’s injury, the feud seemingly came to an end, as it eventually died down when Shawn defeated both members in a Triple Threat match to have the right to face John Cena for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 23. However, Shawn and Cena managed to win the World Tag Team Titles from Rated RKO the night after the Royal Rumble, creating dissention between Rated RKO. Fast forward a year and a half and we are at Survivor Series 2008, where Edge made his return and cost HHH a Last Man Standing match against Batista.

Triple H and Edge then went at it for weeks, competing in a match at Armageddon after costing each other spots in the Elimination Chamber, which went to a No Contest after both men introduced weapons. At the Royal Rumble, HHH defeats Edge, booking himself in the Royal Rumble later that night. During that match, Shawn eliminates both members of the Two Man Dynasty in Randy Orton and MVP, while Edge costs HHH the victory, interfering and hitting HHH with a Spear, as an unaware Kennedy won the match after throwing HHH over the top rope. Randy and Michaels were scheduled to go one on one 8 nights later on RAW, to which HBK won by DQ after interference from Smackdown’s Edge, as MVP, Edge and Orton established themselves as the Rated RKO Dynasty. MVP vs. Triple H was supposed to be that Friday night on Smackdown but it was thrown out due to a three on one assault on the Game. In the Battle Royal later that night, the TMD eliminate Triple H while HBK eliminates Edge. The next week on Smackdown, the Rated RKO Dynasty were ranting on HHH and HBK as the two then interfered, formally reuniting D Generation X once again. 3 nights later on Raw, HBK and his protégé and CW Champion Paul London teamed up to face the TMD, and even though MVP and Orton won, that was not the talking point.

After the match, the Rated RKO Dynasty attempted a three on two assault on DX but it backfired, as Orton and Edge got pummelled with a sledgehammer and steel chair courtesy of HHH, whilst MVP was taken care of by Shawn Michaels. Shawn then did one of his death defying stunts and did a Flying Elbow off the top rope to MVP on the announce table that would have made his General Manager proud, as DX vs. Rated RKO was confirmed for WrestleMania due to MVP being written out of action. Rated RKO showed up on Smackdown and said that DX had not shown up due to cowardice, as Orton announced he would go one on one with his mentor in HHH in 3 nights on Raw. The match went as planned for Rated RKO as Orton picked up the main event win after interference from his partner in Edge after what was a very fiery affair, which started off with a brawl between Orton and HHH and Edge and Michaels, as Edge and HBK continued their war on the outside. The match graphic of their tag team match for WrestleMania is shown once again to end the video package comes to a close, as Coach announces that after the break, we would see the huge Interbrand main event between Raw’s WWE Champion CM Punk and the veteran the Undertaker.

Commercial Break

Once we return from what is hopefully the last commercial break, ‘This Fire Burns’ blasts over the speakers to some heat not heard in quite some time, as none other than the WWE Champion CM Punk makes his Smackdown return after leaving in October 0f 2008 to cash his Money in the Bank briefcase in on Jeff Hardy. Punk smirks at almost every fan in the arena on their feet booing him, as he gets into the ring and raises his WWE Championship to more heat {if possible}, as the extremely arrogant champion smirks and waits for the arrival of the Undertaker.

‘Rollin’’ then hits over the P.A. system to a completely different reaction to the previous, as the crowd get on their feet for all the positive reasons this time, as they see the Undertaker roaring down the entrance ramp on his favourite Harley Davidson motorcycle. Punk smirks as he mockingly rubs his head as Undertaker {like the Big Show} is sporting a bandaid across his forehead after he was whipped in the face with his own bike chain this past Monday on Raw. Punk and Taker then approach each other in the centre of the ring, as the bell rings to signify the beginning of this epic confrontation.

Main Event
Match 6
Interbrand Match
Undertaker vs. WWE Champion CM Punk

Once the bell had rung, the crowd let out a huge ‘UNDERTAKER!’ chant as the two then went to the ring and engaged in a collar and elbow tie up, trying to get the advantage over the other. There was a stalemate in this as this action was repeated, both men growing frustrated at not being able to get the advantage over the other man. Punk then had had enough of this, as he slapped Undertaker in the face after being backed into the corner and this was where the fan began. Undertaker then showed his boxing background and exploded with right and left hands all over the body of Punk, as the two made their way out of the corner. Undertaker then threw Punk back into the corner and when the WWE Champion stumbled out of the corner, he was met with a Back Body Drop from the larger Undertaker.

The Undertaker took control from this point on, working over the man that whipped him in the face with the chain of his own bike 4 nights ago on RAW. Undertaker then made a vital mistake at the 6 minute mark as he went for a quick Chokeslam, as Punk then kicked Undertaker in the sternum and followed it up with a Knee Lift, taking the advantage in the match. Punk then worked over the upper body of Undertaker, as he hit Undertaker with an Atomic Drop followed by a signature Shining Wizard in the corner. Punk then followed it up with his usual Bulldog out of the corner before he went to the apron and when Undertaker got up at the 9 minute mark, Punk hit the Number 1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship with a Springboard Clothesline.

Punk then continued with his upper body offence on the Undertaker, thus keeping the momentum and advantage in the match. Undertaker’s attempt to get back in the match were thwarted by the much younger and inexperienced Punk, who used cheap, underhanded tactics to maintain his advantage and where the Undertaker down. Punk then looked to finish Undertaker off after a Jawbreaker as he went for the Urinagi followed by the Anaconda Vice at the 15 minute mark of what had been a great match, but the Undertaker managed to elbow out of the predicament after sensing danger. Taker then managed to lift Punk up and connect with a quick yet effective Snake Eyes, swinging the momentum over once again to his side.

Undertaker then bounced off the ropes once Punk’s head ricocheted off of the turnbuckle, as he nailed CM with a nice Big Boot, followed by a big Leg Drop as Punk was on the ground. Undertaker then raised one arm and once Punk got up, Taker kicked him in the gut, before picking him up for the Last Ride! Once Taker went for his signature Powerbomb, Punk managed to jump off of the shoulders of Undertaker, however, before hitting with him with a right hand punch followed by a left hand punch, and then a spinning back fist. Punk then follows that up with a sickening Roundhouse Kick straight to the side of the face, quickly followed by a Spinning Snap Kick to the sternum of Undertaker. Taker was then pulled into a front face lock by Punk, who then hit the Undertaker with a Snap DDT, finishing the wicked combo!

Punk then raised his arms above his head to massive heat for the crowd, as Punk smirked and then lifted Taker up after the sickening DDT. Punk then lifted the Undertaker into a standing Fireman’s Carry position, looking to finish the Undertaker off with a Go to Sleep! Undertaker, however, also sensed this move coming, as he floated over the back of Punk, before hitting him with a right hand, as Punk did so in retaliation. This led to the classic face vs. heel brawling war with the crowd giving heat for Punk hitting Undertaker but popped for Taker hitting the champion, before tempers seemingly boiled over, as the two exploded over the ring with right hands, Undertaker putting everything behind one of his punches after the assault last Monday on Raw! Punk continued to punch away at Undertaker as the referee tried to separate the two men, but they were unrelenting as they brawled all over the ring! With this match getting out of the referee’s control, he had no choice but to call for the bell, even though the men didn’t seemingly care!

NO CONTEST

Undertaker and Punk continue brawling, as in a repeat of what happened this past Monday on RAW, John Cena comes out and begins to brawl with Undertaker. Punk and Cena look for another two on one attack on the man who is 16 and 0 at WrestleMania, but before they can do anything, Mr. Kennedy comes racing down the ramp and slides into the ring. Punk and Kennedy go at it as do Cena and Undertaker, only for when Cena went for a quick FU, Taker pushed off of Cena’s shoulders before hitting Cena with a Big Boot, followed by a Chokeslam! Punk saw this before he broke away from Kennedy and went to go to the Undertaker, but Taker met him with straight right hand. Punk stayed on his feet as he stumbled around, right into a devastating Mic Check from Mr. Kennedy! The crowd gave a huge pop at arguably the two biggest faces in this business standing tall, as the last Smackdown comes to a close with Mr. Kennedy and the Undertaker triumphant over the champions.

I love reading your video packages Y2J, they are awesome to read and they are really good to know what went down last week without reading the show. I can't wait for the Wrestlemania one(even though I have already seen it). The match was pretty well written, very well done. You had JBL dominating and the powerbomb onto the trash can would have been absolutely awesome to see in real life. The aftermatch attack was to be expected and the JBL promo sounded really in character from what I could make out.

Lol at SJ meaning Some Jobber. Very well acronymed if I may say so myself. Bang crash and it is over, looks like somewhat of a Koslov push which I do not really like very much. I want to know where you are going to take Mr. Miller now though so it has me hooked.

The next match was good, you had Umaga come over as a monster but still as face and Kofi did not do anything that heelish though. Again great video package but the Danielson and Doane promo detail was a little weird to me but I have no idea why.

That was the logical decision with Bourne winning as I could not see any of the others winning tbh. I did not like Moore turning on Wang for some rewason though but it looks to be the set up of a possibly good feud. This match was well done and followed the psychology of a battle royale to a tee. So that was well done.

That sounded like a bloody clusterfuck tbh, that was confusing but well played. This heats up the money in the bank match but I would of liked to see the match start. I would of liked to see this match in real life as well as the 4 men(Fatal Four Way) in the match I am big fans of. Did not like the finish as I don't really see Cade using the lead pipe like that. And him springing up and pushing Crazy off was something that I did not like, just seemed weird.

Again great video package. This match was great, both men executed their signatures and it just flowed well. I did not like the CM Punk dominating most of the match as it seemed a tad unrealistic.
