WOW. Talk about desperate. Come on WWE, if it does not bother you or him, why spend time trying to defend him?

This is not news whatsoever. WWE just found a focus to do on Cena, they don't give a fuck about the "You can't wrestle" chants. The "five moves of doom" was just a jab at people that for some fucking ridiculous reason think Cena can't wrestle (c'mon Keith, it's not 2007 anymore 8D), not a direct response.

Fucking internet pissing me off and shit.

it's just a video of Cena doing ten movies the way punk13 titled the thread had me thinking it was like some article of WWE management writing some wwetna1 long paragraphs on this.

That half nelson neckbreaker is still hilarious to me for the fact that he brings out this brand new move that requires literally full use of his dodgy arm.

I know it's not be taken seriously this video, but putting in a DDT, Lariat and a Belly to Back suplex are what i'd call rookie moves.

Thank god you're not a wrestler, basics in wrestling schools are this, hiptoss, snapmare, headlock takeover and shoulderblocks, a DDT? What are you a fucking mark? You think a guy with 5 years on you is going to let you give him a DDT? Unless you paid the promoter, you are not getting any offensive moves on the indies, you start out jobbers until you prove yourself safe enough to work your way up.

Jesus, why do the people who are supposed to be smart about this, not have have the slightest clue

So let me get this straight. WWE sifted through hundreds of matches throughout his entire career where he has been headlining for nearly a decade and came up with 3 clips where he varied from the norm.... That's pathetic and beyond a stretch. I watched Hogan do a Dropkick on Nitro once but I don't use that one clip to try to proclaim Hogan to have been an awesome cruiserweight lol.

When Vince wants to shove a wrestler down everyone's throat, independence of thought won't be tolerated.

You would have to be blind or dumb to ignore Cena literally does a leg drop, clothesline, drop kick, snap suplex, belly to belly, in all his matches the past two years. You would have to be given a short term memory only to forget him doing blockbuster neck breakers he titled the throwback, a fisherman buster, and other things as the doctor of thuganomics

people see what they want, that's the thing about perception

As far as a DDT being basic, not at all. Edge had been working for years before he was even allowed to do the Edgecution. Think of that, a guy who made TLC famous taking forever to be allowed a DDT. Raven used the even flow as a finisher, same with foley and the double arm after years of studying their craft. It's not simple, simplistic looking, but not simple as you're protecting the guy from cracking his skull or breaking his neck.

The most simplistic thing thing you can probably cite is a suplex. For gods sake Toby Keith did a suplex

Show me this dropkick and I will take your point with validity, because I've never seen it.

Tell me Ric Flair did something different than taking a dozen backdrops in every match and tell me it's different than Cena. It's called conditioning your audience.

Man, that was like week 3 or something like that. First day was bumbs, laps, tumbling to the outside, and the dreaded chop practice. First move I was taught was turnbuckle stomps, then a standing legdrop & elbowdrop, and all of those came after learning how to pace your steps in a ring, so that everytime you get irish whipped from rope to rope it would only take 5 steps.

I enjoy seeing people talk as if they are experts themselves. I know a few wrestlers who were trained the basics, I also know some that were trained the more difficult stuff at the beginning.

I think people should start to lay off on the whole "Cena can't wrestle" notion. I was one of the many who thought the same, but I've eventually seen that he's improved so much. People just need to get their heads out of their asses.

Maybe rookie was the wrong choice of word but I still stand by my point that it's a pretty standard/normal move these days and it's a laughable choice to try and convince his critics that he actually can wrestle.

Chops? Was it a rib? Because there is no work in that, it's what you see type of deal.

I don't even think that was the point of the video though. Think Cena doing a hurricanrana just made the guys at .com think about moves who only does occasionally so they made a video of it.

His only problem is being almost "too fake".

When you apply an STF and make the veins pop out your beetroot red face, at least make sure your hands are actually touching the guys neck.

Not gonna take it to the extreme and say he's a bum though. He clearly doesn't need carrying and has had a library of great matches on the biggest stage. The Umaga LMS @ Rumble was a masterclass.
